Thanks! Yeah, I recorded everything in-game with Narcissus. Some shots were recorded against a blue background (still in Narcissus) so I could remove it in After Effects (stuff like the cloud serpent).
Thanks! The basics are posing a character in Narcissus and recording it (with some effects added later, ofc).
But in order to play multiple animations and make them seamlessly flow into one another you need to be creative with hiding Narcissus’ UI (I usually try to drag it to the side or record it on a bluescreen and mask it out later). You need to manually cycle through animations and click them at the right time.
Some of my shots had to be done with a bluescreen background so I could layer multiple models on top of each other (like the cloud serpent). Stuff like that can make it much harder really fast.
Having some experience in or understanding of video/photo editing is a huge advantage. I’m doing a lot with masking, layering and keying. But opening Narcissus, posing your character and recording it already does a lot :)

I had to separately record the monk and cloud serpent on a bluescreen background, import them in After Effecte and time the punch animation together with the cloud serpent flying by. Lots of trial and error on that one.
Everything comes from vendors in hubs around Pandaria. Before the bronze buffs, you could get around 40k by levelling. The transmogs and remix specific mounts aren’t too expensive so you can get the majority of them by levelling. Certain cosmetics are from mini meta achievements that really don’t take long. Maybe 2-3 days if you take your time. The only really expensive things are the ones that were already in the game (tusks, heavenly onyx cloud serpent, galleon, etc.) and some toys. Someone said it’d take around 3 million bronze to buy everything (all class armor mogs, all mounts, all toys, all heirlooms)
Basically, you can take your time. Not much effort is required. Blizzard is probably going to buff the currency again. You got like 80 something days left

Havent started Remix yet, primary motivator would be the cosmetics. Where do you buy this stuff, and how much gameplay is required to pay it off?
