"Worth" is completely subjective. To be valued by other people means you're meeting their expectations/benchmarks of worth. The tricky part is that we're social creatures and people tend to share a lot of the same standards of "worth". But you are right that the world owes you nothing and you owe nothing to the world, but picking up the reins and being a force for good makes you a valuable person in the eyes of many. Whereas sitting around and doing nothing will have you overlooked and forgotten about in a heartbeat. It's the people who do the latter and then try to convince the world that they should be placed on a pedestal that grind my gears, like, who are you really trying to convince? Me, or yourself?

Those who go out of their way to make things worse for others are definitely a waste of space since their existence is pretty much a net negative for everyone around them.

Saying “waste of space” implies that the rest of humanity owns that space. When they don’t. No one owns earth except for the property you buy

Sudden_Substance_803

Humanity doesn't own the space but they are not entitled to make existence worse for others. They're expanding past their space and encroaching on others.

No not really. For example saying that using an extremely central part of town to build a park for dolphins doesn’t imply you have any ownership of that space. Its simply factually a complete waste of very good useful space because obviously dolphins don’t need a park they don’t live on land. Your argument is silly.
