I had the same reservations you had about the bezel. I didn’t like how notable the sunburst pattern was under the brights lights at the AD but I still bought it. I appreciate the bezel now that I’m wearing outside and how it can change from an almost matte look to a subtle sun burst depending on how the sun hits it. It’s also a dream to wear all day because of its light weight.
It’s been my most regularly worn watch since November when I got it. I love it. Ad I’ve gotten used to the lightweight feel of titanium, it’s hard to go back to stainless steel watches. It’ll be a watch I never sell.
If I had to nitpick, grade 5 titanium would be better than grade 2, but *practically* speaking that doesn’t matter.
Smaller brands also successfully coat their titanium making it 3-5x harder than stainless and virtually scratch proof so IDK why the big guys don’t. Even citizen and seiko use this basic technology
I totally agree, under the harsh lights of the AD it doesn’t show the true watch. Once you get it in natural light it really shows it’s character. An amazing watch. I sold my BB58 after I got my P39 and I haven’t regretted it.
Great pics OP! As a few others have also mentioned, I have it as well and love it. The brushed bezel ghosting effect and the slight sunburst dial are just enough to be different but not overdone. Tudor really did make a no date titanium submariner and that’s a good thing imo. The fit and finishing, and total package, from the perspective of a Rolex DeepSea, DateJust, and Explorer owner (along with many Omega, Breitling, and Oris models), is kind of unmatched in its price segment and had this watch been released 7 or so years ago I don’t think I would’ve purchased my Seamaster or the titanium Aquis.
This watch is beautiful, I’m in the market for my first luxury watch and dead set on the new BB 41 (5 link) but before it came out I was looking at this and got to try it on. It’s amazing it would have definitely won me over if it was in a shiny stainless steel. I love the square hr markers on it!
Have had it upon release. Love the watch. It’s my most worn watch. Most traveled. Went to a watch fair—got a lot of unsolicited notices and compliments. Didn’t expect that.
I’d say just look at these gorgeous pictures to someone that didn’t understand this gorgeous watch but you took these pictures ….. so I don’t know what to say to you :)
I think I know exactly what you mean. I felt the same way after the presentation of the watch and I wasn't sure how much I would like the bezel, but in real life I think it's really good and I enjoy wearing the P39 very much. But if you're unsure, then you shouldn't rush into anything
Had mine since last June and it’s been a dream. It has just enough to keep it interesting vs 54/58 and that along with being small wrist friendly made it a no brainer for me. Picked mine up from AD and would gladly do it again.
It has been my daily since I got it shortly after the release. I rarely wear my Sub now and when I do, it feels so uncomfortable than the P39. I like the way Ti feels on my skin and the weight and size are perfect for everyday wear. My biggest gripe with is was the bracelet. I found the clasp to be a bit too long and sharp and the link length made adjusting it wonky. Uncle Straps has replacement bracelets and now a half link that make this a non-issue. Perfect watch in my opinion.
I had it and honestly I let it go less than a year, kept my BB54 because it reminds of ref 6204, 6922 with the gilt dial. Mine was losing 2-3 seconds a day still with in specs they say. Recently pick up the new Blancpain FF 42mm Ti23 which is what I always wanted.
It’s cool I like how it looks but I was a bit bothered by the feel when I tried it on. I completely understand how comfortable titanium can be because it’s so light but think it’s just not for me. Otherwise would have bought it on the spot because it looks great.
It’s a great watch. Picked mine up from the AD on Saturday and hasn’t been off the wrist. It does seem to lose about 2 seconds per day but that’s just within spec I suppose.
I loved the watch I didn't like the clasp. I have a smaller wrist and the back of the clasp wouldn't sit flat. They should just eliminate the divers extension since it's completely useless for 99% of owners.
I liked it a lot on the pictures, I went to try it and I didn’t like it so much. The bezel was too wide, like too much bezel!
The strap and the clasp was super nice anyways.
Sexy watch. Wish it was a higher grade titanium that didn’t mark as easy and the extention on the clasp makes the clasp huge and it wears a bit funny, but the look paired with weight makes it a great option
I have it and it’s definitely a sleeper. In truth I picked it up initially on the basis of hype, it would be my first full titanium watch, and the sizing and proportions of my bb58 are perfect. So I thought why not. At first I couldn’t really get on with it, the titanium was too light and dull looking (my partner said it felt and looked like a fake!) and bracelet/clasp felt a bit sharp. It didn’t get much wrist time but I hung onto it because …. well it’s my only full titanium watch and I don’t really sell anything (too much hassle!). I was going on holiday for a couple of weeks and thought I’d give it a real chance for some time on the wrist. We’ll all I can say is that we bonded! After continuous wear it really melts into the wrist, it’s so light you don’t really notice it’s on, the lack of shine on the metal makes it very understated, and the fact is a dive watch that I was happy to dive in and was comfortable in any situation I encountered really sold it for me. Anyway it still doesn’t get the wrist time it deserves but that’s life. It’s a gada watch, I say treat yourself
Why pay MSRP for anything? Secondary pricing of so many great pieces are the great equalizer and if you get it with box and papers you lose nothing except a few months off the warranty.
I have it. Love it. It’s definitely not too shiny in real life. Ended up selling my BB58 because I had basically stopped wearing it.
For how much can you resell a watch?
As much as somebody will pay. A used 58 will probably go for around 3k.
$2300-$2700
Is the clasp super long compared to the bb58?
It’s longer, I wouldn’t say super long.
Best Tudor in the current catalogue.
I daily mine for around 15 months now, I love it, but would really appreciate a date :/
I prefer no date…but can be ok with date…but don’t you dare put a cyclops on the crystal!!!
but at 6 ‘o clock
Nope, at 3 :)

I still want one, more than I do a Rolex.
Excellent photography 🤌

It is a beaut
Awaiting patiently for the matte blue to come out. You know I’ll be on that.
More too! And fixing the lume brightness on the hands.

Amazing, my daily driver.

I would get this over the monochrome.
Have it. Love it. The penultimate no nonsense GADA tool watch. Wear it damn near daily.
My next buy. Would love it if they had a similar bezel to the FXD and added a date function.
I agree about all but the date but that is just me. I could live with date at 6 but 3 would ruin it.
My wish is that they would also release a blue version of the 39, and give a date/no date option for both the black and blue colours. One can dream
Love it, wish it had a date window.

There is no stainless on it
That’s exactly what they said.
Yeah, I want one. One day, I will have one..
I have it and love it!

Haha I’ll take that as a compliment. There is nothing to not like about this watch just a few things I wouldn’t have chosen if that makes sense.

I love it
I love it, but I love it in part because of the burst dial and bezel. If they bug you...
Best watch before Submariner
I have one and love it.
Beautiful piece

It’s nice. I’ve tried it on in person. Looks too small on my wrist. I went with the Pelagos in Blue. Thing is so sexy.
Love mine, zero complaints. Buy it
Have it and wear it daily
Just wish it had a date complication!
Honestly I wear my christopher ward trident more yes I said it... come at me! Lol
Just bought it last weekend and im amazed how under the radar yet classy this watch wears. Pure joy.
I just got one of those too! But mine is black, made of plastic, and says swatch on the dial. Still love it though!
It’s cool I like how it looks but I was a bit bothered by the feel when I tried it on. I completely understand how comfortable titanium can be because it’s so light but think it’s just not for me. Otherwise would have bought it on the spot because it looks great.

I love this watch. For me is very close to perfection…the problem is that after I bought a FXD MN i can’t wear anything else…
First of all, beautifully captured, it’s a very well proportioned watch, but I do miss the chapter ring which shrouded the indices.
Best version of the Pelagos for those with small wrists, for now- until Tudor releases it in blue
I loved the watch I didn't like the clasp. I have a smaller wrist and the back of the clasp wouldn't sit flat. They should just eliminate the divers extension since it's completely useless for 99% of owners.
For me the thing that killed it was the lug width.. if it were 20 or even 19, I'd have kept it..
I have it and i’m in LOVE 🤩
I liked it a lot on the pictures, I went to try it and I didn’t like it so much. The bezel was too wide, like too much bezel! The strap and the clasp was super nice anyways.
Where are people finding these at $3.2k on used market???? I am seeing them for minimum of $4k on used market
I’m intrigued but a little thrown off by the length of the clasp
Sexy watch. Wish it was a higher grade titanium that didn’t mark as easy and the extention on the clasp makes the clasp huge and it wears a bit funny, but the look paired with weight makes it a great option
Sunburst dial and no date. Otherwise great watch.
Disappointed to hear the case back is stainless steel. Was eyeing it because of my nickel allergy, so sadly it won’t work for me.
Would be the perfect daily watch if it had a date. Alas.
I, myself, am going to wait for something matte in the Pelagos 39 range. If that doesn’t happen, oh well.. I have plenty of other options
Ended up selling mine. Actually didn’t love how light it was. Ended up w a BB monochrome- which I think feels perfect all around
Love it
A great watch .
Bought it and love it. So light weight it feels weird wearing it. But it looks great, good size
Absolutely love it!

Superb pics bro, I own one and loving it. Great on the rubber strap as well.
The dial feels incomplete compared to the regular Pelagos. I wish they just made that one smaller.
I probably would have bought this over a black bay if it had the same dial/chapter ring as the original.
Had it, love almost every aspect of it. Not a massive fan of the square indices and hands. They just look a bit cheap to me.
Agreed, I tried it on in an AD, and I thought it looked cheap.
I love it. I feel it’s overpriced at MSRP. Anyone else?
Why pay MSRP for anything? Secondary pricing of so many great pieces are the great equalizer and if you get it with box and papers you lose nothing except a few months off the warranty.
Exactly, this is $3.4k right now with full set including warranty. Love my P39 and don’t wear my speedy much now 👀
That’s solid for sure.
Where would you go for that price?
www.watchrecon.com BUY THE SELLER NOT THE WATCH.
Good point. As long as the seller is trustworthy, I reckon this is the way.
Insert overused “buy the seller not the product”statement here.
Love it but to be perfect they should put the FXD bezel on it and fix the lume on the hands
Wish it was a 42
Is 12o clock off center too? Looks like pointing to the right a lil
