Supadupafly1988

I’m not a fan of either, a few songs here and there but to me better dayz was the last good posthumous album

IKARUSwalks

does resurrection even count as an album? it was a soundtrack to the movie. there was like 4 new songs and the rest were old pac songs.

Supadupafly1988

I agree with you, they tried to sell it to us as another album but it’s definitely a soundtrack

Brasi91Luca

That and until the end of time was basically a real Tupac album to me

Dull-Song2539

Em’s heart was in the right place *however* altering Pac’s vocals to shout out Em himself and including guys Pac would never rock with, was just dumb on his behalf. Meanwhile on Resurrection, Em restrained himself production on the stuff he worked on which is good, primarily it’s a greatest hits (however I think it would’ve been nice had the ‘95 Runnin’ been included as a bonus imo)

DJ_CLARKO

Actually kinda like loyal to the game, half of it is really solid then the other half is shit

Intelligent_West7128

Loyal to the Game was Blasphemy.

Spydah_X

Remember what my pops told me

TribalChief3000

Never understood why Ms. Afeni would give Eminem the reigns to work on her son’s albums. Johnny J. and other producers Pac worked with for his sound better. Eminem beats fit Eminem.

TraditionAcademic968

Never have or wanted to hear the 1st one. 2nd is cool. A bunch of hits put together

Krakakillah

It’s Tupac so it’s all good

NoFlyZon3

I will never forgive Eminem

BETLJCE

Loyal to the Games, Uppercut is awesome. Out on bail got a-ton of play back in the day by me as well. Hennessey Red spyda remix is still a favorite of mine. Resurrection has a ton of great tracks. Bury me a G is my favorite. But that Runnin dyin to live song was a huge radio hit.

Brasi91Luca

Loyal to the game was trash. The beats sounded cartoonish

BumblebeeFair8041

Thug 4 life from loyal is one of my favorites

TheScopeNetwork

Loyal to the Game was absolute dog shit. Eminem had no business touching and butchering those songs

the_steve_tell

Resurrection is decent. Ghost is a good track. I don't like some of the production on Loyal To The Game. Ghetto Gospel is pretty great though

Practical-Judge-8647

i’ll never forgive em for what he did to that album

Ok-Suggestion-4909

What

V0l4til3

Complete waste of time both of them. Just a money grab.

northgriffey

Eminem, as great as a rapper he is, he's not a great producer, at all. He definitely messed up Loyal To The Game. It's not very good. I never go back and listen it. I don't know why 2Pac's mom would let Eminem do that. Maybe she thought Dr. Dre would handle most of the producing? IDK. It's not good.

Williedoggie

I’d say he’s a great producer for himself, not so much for others, especially pac. Those beats were in no way Tupac styled.

LeadStyleJutsu762-

The beats don’t bang!

mxmixtape

People bitch about Loyal to the Game, but it’s not as bad as its reputation. As someone else said, 1/2 is good and 1/2 is not, and I would add - as are most of the posthumous releases.

Heyitsme_81

Both amazing, the GOAT without question 💪🏼

Spydah_X

The first one is trash, the other one is good

4REAL4EVRR

too long

Plenty-Ad2815

Loyal to the Game is the ninth studio album and fifth posthumous studio album by American rapper Tupac Shakur. The album was produced by Eminem and consists of remixes of previously unreleased music recorded by Tupac before his death in 1996.

DawgInDisguisey

They came out when I was like 13-14 so I bumped them a shit load and love big chunks of them. Was listening to Loyal To the Game when I saw this post actually

Shodakai_Youth

The only song I liked from the first one is the DJ Quik remix Don't remember much from the second one tbh.

JJPLAYXYT

Had potential but mixed very poorly. Eminem should not have been allowed to touch a Pac song, Let alone an album

Gullible_Lynx3678

Loyal to the game was good at the time but sounds very dated now. Still so much better than Pacs Life.

Pitiful-Art-2706

All these albums did was give me a blueprint of songs to find the Original Versions of. Em’s production isn’t bad, it is just a total clash of style compared to Pacs. They should’ve just remastered the tracks pac threw out before going pure G-funk, because they all were Johnny J style legit hip hop beats. Em’s production is like strings/electric guitars, and like a rock/opera style, which is dope but not what I want to hear 2pac over. There’s a cookin’ soul remix of Old School on YouTube that stylistically represents Pac WAY better in my opinion, and if Loyal or Resurrection were to have those beats then those albums would be the cream of the crop in Pac’s discography imo.
