That's just Code Lyoko

I think I get that a little, but more towards the endings of shows or games. I don't want them to end because it's rarely as satisfying as I'd prefer. I'd rather write my own endings, forever.

Justified was one of the rare shows that ended absolutely perfectly, and I have no desire to watch the recent sequel show.

Deaconhux

That is the correct decision.

You might enjoy a show called 7 Days that had a few seasons. It's about a government agency that uses tech from the Roswell space crash to go back in time 7 days whenever a disaster happens. Good humor, decent action and the disaster of the week is usually good times.

Embrace it!

Not really. If I think a concept is really cool in that way I want to watch/read it. My imagination and the actual version are not mutually exclusive, and sometimes they have better ideas than I do. The only reason I can think to do this is if I thought the show/movie etc will just be bad and not worth my time. In which case I wouldn't be avoiding it because of the concept, it would be more like "It's a shame this cool concept is wasted on a bad show"
