Awfully brazen of you to post this story

RaynaClay

Haha, no bull

ThisGuyIRLv2

r/angryupvote

lifeonsmithstreet

He's put himself in a very Perilaus position.

Catqueen25

I hear the screaming from the victim inside sounds like the noise bulls make. Baked long pork, anyone?

RaynaClay

Yup, supposed to sound just like the bellowing of a bull while it roasts them. And the smoke from the fire comes out the nostrils! Fun!

Radfluffer

How would smoke come out of the nostrils?

RaynaClay

There were some accounts that indicate that the smoke from the fire underneath was directed out the nostrils, but it is hard to say if that is strictly true or not. The entire thing is a bit shaky from a strict historical context, and may be more myth than literal. Tough to say, because there is no hard evidence of it, that I know of.

Radfluffer

I always thought the point of the bull was that other than the face/head that they're no other holes. I could be wrong tho

mcr42_de

Trojan BBQ.

Randomhumanhavingfun

Kinda reminds me of the short story Jack by Amerie.

[deleted]

Real talk though, what makes the bull so painful? It disagreeing, just curious and a dumbass

AccomplishedYak8438

You are literally broiled alive

[deleted]

Spa day 😋

RaynaClay

I think being roasted alive is very painful, no matter what the vessel looks like. The bull was just a fancy and elaborate way to do so, while also entertaining spectators by making your death more humiliating/interesting.

sevenbrokenbricks

The wood being piled up is for a fire. You burn to death.

Automatic-Plankton10

not technically! The fire never gets anywhere near hot enough to make you combust. you slow cook to death, which is infinitely worse

Im15andthisisdeep

Pulled long pork?

GuyWhoGuys_

lobster experience

[deleted]

real

NeverSawOz

At least you didn't go the way of Pasiphae

TimeLuckBug

This is one of those things I wish was just a story but supposedly really happened

RaynaClay

Yes, if it was ever used in reality it must have been a terrible way to die.

Realmirror71

Been a while since any story on this Sub made me shudder. Well done. Though you could have been more subtle. Looking at the bronze bull, I was not impressed, perhaps it was like the trojam horse? When I asked, he only smirked and told me to get in and find out.

save-video_bot

First sentence gave it away instantly.
