I'll assure you they didn't actually *spend* it either. I'm willing to bet one of my nuts that there is some kinda "safety clause" that let's them cancel without having to pay the vendors and artists. As in they took a million dollars from you guys citing a few tents on the library walk lawn as a threat to the students.

realize that ucsd is perhaps the least. undergrad oriented unit in the system. As a ucsd alumni, adjunct and now ucb parent it is shocking that cal of all places is so much more undergrad centric.

Maybe you should see the images of children, mothers, fathers, grandparents being blown to pieces or permanently disfigured because of our tax dollars and realize the brave students protesting are fighting for something bigger than a day of blacking out + music.
