Indeed on the bots! This is why I think we need to do two things: 1) Make sure we are upvoting every positive thing in posts and comments, here, youtube, etc. People too often think it is optional and forget, but we are fighting a massive disinformation campaign and this is like voting, you MUST VOTE! 2) Why at the VERY least, we need our representatives to at least write reinforcement legislation against our governments and its contractors from creating disinformation campaigns. This is already illegal but there needs to be very specific information added to the Schumer Amendment, etc against this, NOW!

Tistouuu

Yeah honestly this is insane

Loud-Possession3549

Make no mistake about it. I often crosspost to other subs related to this topic. It seems the bots focus on the main big one(s). You can then do some a/b testing and see how the post goes on the non-bottled subs is really effen fascinating…I recommended crossposting all posts at this point. I wish some data scientist out there would take this on as a project. There was someone at one point that had an excel sheet of all the bots they tracked down too…probably worth a whole Ross Coulhart podcast on this topic..

Tistouuu

Safe to assume from now on, with bots and AI, it's only going to get worse on Reddit, it's the perfect place for any faction to influence any topic

Loud-Possession3549

Indeed. Should we have legislation that only real humans can participate in social media?

Tistouuu

I'd probably vote to ban social media, but banning bots wouldn't hurt yeah

Wapiti_s15

I’d be with you, maybe local only social media with the hottest/verified posts making it to the county level, state level, region and then us wide. Wouldn’t that be amazing…I just had an epiphany…because it would take longer for them to get traction so only the really good ones would make it…but you need massive amounts of people…hmm. Does that make sense?

PestoPastaLover

Hot MILFs in my area just had a deep sigh w relief...

Wapiti_s15

Hahahahah

SquilliamTentickles

absolutely. it should be a felony to use bots to artifically influence social media. that would include buying votes / upvote/downvote brigades, having people artifically comment on things to artificially increase engagement, etc. but reddit would lose money from that. also, reddit themselves manipulates everything. in an ideal world, a competitor would make a reddit-clone, and require a captcha / puzzle to be solved for each comment. and there would be bot detection metrics (speed / scroll speed / mouse analytics)

Scatteredbrain

honestly in my experience they are on every sub no matter how big or small. i know people here for good reason dismiss the MH370 video but the associated sub has the same problem as well as r/alienbodies

Olympus____Mons

Example of bots working and upvoting content that divides the UFO community, is this post right here. In just an hour this post had 100s of upvotes.. basically using politics to divide the community  https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/1dpb2ud/tim_burchett_is_now_officially_gatekeeping/

Loud-Possession3549

Agreed! And another tactic I have noticed is a stream of just dumb posts to dilute the important ones..and then another tactic are these comments related to an exhaustion about not having this or that hard data, a kind of whiny low energy vibe that they seem to think is contagious and will spread. All seem to be tactics to then promote others to feel that same emotion..seriously, someone, or likely 100 PHDs could do their thesis on these kind of disinformation campaign tactics. Please, for the love of what is right, true and just, is there someone with education on this that can then teach us all on the “top 10 things to look for to know you are being influenced by propaganda/a disinformation campaign”? Most of us know nothing in this field but we could likely crowdsource at least the top 10 things we have all seen, right?

elcapkirk

Really odd how people are attacking gallaudet for not producing new info. That's not why he's important. He's important because he is a well connected individual within our military who is publicity backing UAP claims. That's not insignificant.

elcapkirk

He seemed to be getting slammed in previous posts as well. Where's there's smoke...I think they don't want Gaulladet to be heard

PickWhateverUsername

"disinformtion bots" is lazy and just a way to dismiss anyone not agreeing with you as not being human. People have valid misgivings about Galludet, same way a lot of us got "englin bots" because we where warning this community about Burchett backstabbing us ... and then he backstabbed us on the Schumer Amendment and is doing yet again right now. But sure accuse people of being bots in order to stay in your own reality bubble.

SquilliamTentickles

i don't understand how you have "valid" "misgivings" about one of the highest-ranking military scientists. dude has a PhD, and a top-secret security clearance, and was literally the administrator of the NOAA, and an admiral. do you think people with those qualifications know nothing? or do you think he's somehow "lying" (despite the fact that he's accusing the government of lying)?

ETNevada

Parading his family and minor daughter on a paranormal reality show years ago gives me pause on this guy.

LordDarthra

What was the name of the show?

ETNevada

The Dead Files in 2016

Throwawaychicksbeach

Exactly he’s one of our most credible, highest ranking military officials, the man is a rear admiral and he is invaluable to the de-stigmatization. Is he the highest rank? I know Colonel Karl Nell is up there. Then we have Commander Fravor and Paul Hellyer.

Gamora-ka-baap

I did. While the podcast is informative, you need to be critical of this host’s podcasting capabilities. For a 2.5 hour podcast, the dude’s response to most answers is almost always ‘Interesting’ and moving on to the next question in his checklist. I prefer the kind where the podcaster goes deep in cross-questioning.

CelebrationDecent943

The host is absolutely terrible. People seem to idolise him because he was a seal or whatever but the guy asks 0 critical questions, just takes every statement without further clarification, goes on tangents that are entirely unrelated and to be honest he does not come across as even moderately intelligent. What a dissappintment.

FishinAlllDay

He also just like...seems to not be very intelligent, at least outside of his expertise.

LordDarthra

Saved to watch later. The amount of ""he's just trust me bro"" bros here tell me it must be a good interview. Why else would the discredit bots flood this particular post?

BroTrustMeBro

It's a really good interview. Source, me, having just watched it. Trust me bro. Naa for real it's great, I think he says a lot of interesting things, I'm excited to see the results from the diver bro he gave the coords to. And the sea cave off the coast of socal, gonna look into that one.

prrudman

Is Admiral Tim Gallaudet relaying second hand accounts or is there any personal experience here?

resonantedomain

Gallaudet was Oceanographer of the Navy and Commander of the [Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naval_Meteorology_and_Oceanography_Command). His entire job was to make sure the airspace was safe for deployment, enough people came forward to him to warrant his risking his career to investigate further. I think the corroboration of the witness accounts is important here, it's not just one person relaying this to him. He's just the conduit for many people. Just because it's a witness testimony does not rule it out outright, the greater context and multitude of data and patterns of secrecy from his own dealings with leadership and being told to look away all paint a broader scope. Instead of asking questions, why not provide answers and watch it so that you can share your findings?

_Exotic_Booger

https://open.spotify.com/episode/4XNe7Oh8j9OvWGKYFYpwQG?si=jrYe8lZDR1eRBvM1yKubkA This podcast episode has a great talk by Tim Gaullaudet. I highly recommend everyone to listen to it.

PaddyMayonaise

Eh, he was moreso the weatherman for the navy, to clarify what that role actually does

hujdjj

This is the right answer but you will be downvoted anyways

LordDarthra

What qualifications does a weatherman need to be top in the military? I'm assuming they need additional schooling then just say the local TV channel. And did anyone report to him, was he just a completely separate branch all by himself or did he have more authority than that?

hujdjj

Degree in meteorology or oceanography probably

PickWhateverUsername

At best second hand, sadly.

gorfuin

I haven't watched this but have seen a bunch of Galludet's talks. His information about the Gofast video being circulated and subsequently pulled is "first hand", while it's not proof of anything anomalous, I still found it interesting and relevant.

PickWhateverUsername

That is since the start the only pertinent info he has brought as indeed it's his 1st hand account of that. All the rest he's added since seem to just be stories he's heard from people around him in the SOL foundation. Feels like his "Retired Admiral" card is being a bit used too much to give credence to stories your uber driver could as well be telling you.

_Exotic_Booger

💯 I’m sure this was the thing that also convinced him something shady is going on.

Semiapies

And are they even second-hand from people he worked with, or just things he read about online?

[deleted]

[удалено]

FlatBlackAndWhite

Here comes the repetitive joke threads from people who don't actually watch the interviews.

LR_DAC

I didn't say the ghosts weren't first-hand witnesses.

Pure-Contact7322

why sadly these are army employees are we all getting the biggest hallucination of all times?,

PickWhateverUsername

Because in a large enough system you'll always have a % of people who have ill intent / easy marks outside of the expertise or simply want to believe in higher things even with lack of proper evidence. So them being army employees doesn't make them more pertinent then people coming from other parts of society.

PaddyMayonaise

All secondhand

BeartownMF

Second hand. He’s also amplifying his claims with underwater alien fishmechanics giving his boats a tuneup lmao

Difficult-Win1400

The problem with Tim is he doesn't say anything for himself, he just relays shit that anyone who keeps up with the topic has already known for years

RossCoolTart

Credible credentialed folks like Grusch and Gallaudet coming forward is nice and all, but we need witnesses with first hand knowledge/experience that have the same level of credibility coming forward in the open. I think the topic will keep stagnating until that happens.

elcapkirk

Change your expectations. He's not special for saying something new, he's special because he is a very connected individual backing up what other very connected people are saying

PickWhateverUsername

Tho his "backing up" is the same old "trust me bro I know someone". We already have a ton of those and when we finally get their names their reliability tends to putter out

Longjumping_Meat_203

This is what I have observed as well. And not even the cool stuff, the bottom of the barrel basic stuff that's very commonly known. I was really hoping for a lot more

Mindless_Issue9648

I agree. I listened to the entire interview and there was nothing that we haven't heard 100 times before.

resonantedomain

Gallaudet was Oceanographer of the Navy and Commander of the [Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naval_Meteorology_and_Oceanography_Command). Not just Some Guy on a boat...

PaddyMayonaise

That’s essentially some guy on a boat. That job is to tell the weather to the navy, that’s about it. Edit: it’s literally the navy’s weatherman. You have to be a meteorologist to have that job. I spent some joint time with the navy and made friends with one. Edit 2: don’t trust me? Take it from the navy. > That’s why we need Officers to inform us of weather patterns, prepare comprehensive maps, and watch over Aerographer’s Mates who forecast the weather. https://www.navy.com/careers-benefits/careers/science-engineering/meteorology-oceanography https://www.cnmoc.usff.navy.mil/Portals/49/Naval-Oceanography-Summary.pdf?ver=3L37-07D5bZTNnsHXujhXA%3d%3d

resonantedomain

How much time have you spent on this?

PaddyMayonaise

Spent on what?

EODdvr

Info is used and shared by many different organizations though.

ronniester

You're not doing anything other than embarrassing yourself. He is a very high ranking officer so you cant just discredit him like you think

PaddyMayonaise

I’m not discrediting him, I just think we need to be realistic about who these people are. He was a weatherman. A meteorologist. An oceanographer. He has no firsthand accounts of anything, he’s just another guy sharing second and third hand stories. This sub gets so googly eyed for anyone with any rank they have a habit of making them out to be much more than they are, I just think it’s important to keep in mind what their actual jobs are to help keep things in perspective.

ronniester

He's an admiral!

PaddyMayonaise

So? He was essentially the senior meteorologist in the Navy. Super impressive career, dude basically made the top of his career field. But I’m not really sure that makes him any more or less relevant in terms of UFO talk. Just because a guy has stats on his shoulders doesn’t make him a ufo expert lol

ronniester

Wtf. He's about as high as you can get and you think his opinion is irrelevant!? There's no point discussing anything with you because you seem completely incapable of understanding

PaddyMayonaise

Explain to me why you think second and third hand stories from him, a meteorologists, are more legitimate and relevant than from other people? He brings forth zero evidence. None. He brings forth zero first hand experiences, encounters, or sightings. You think his opinion. Means more because he has an impressive resume. Why?

ronniester

It's obvious or so I thought. He's in touch with other people who are at the top of their game, you think none of them discuss top secret stuff with each other? Only the highest ranking officials actually know what's going off, do you think this stuff is discussed with just anyone? His rank gives him immense credibility whether you like it or not. Plus, when you get multiple high ranking witnesses who corroborate each other, then it's clear theres deep stuff happening. He's got no book to sell,so why would he lie. If he was on his own saying this I wouldn't give his stuff as much credibility but he's not.

QnsPrince

Exactly he just parrots everything he reads on reddit and he doesn’t do a particularly good iob of remembering or relaying it accurately

Justice989

I've thought this as well.  For what his credentials are, he doesn't seem to know much first hand information.  He's basically heard the same stuff we've heard, just from better people.

SiriusC

Is that his problem or your problem? What if there are people in the audience who haven't heard any of this information? Or even members of this subreddit. USOs are not given nearly as much attention as objects in the sky. But this idea that any given interview needs to have information that *you* haven't heard before is preposterous.

ExtremeUFOs

Which is why I don't think he should testify at a UAP Hearing even though he said he would, i think he did say he knows some UAP classified sightings and his email erased Gofast thing but other than that there is nothing to testify with him.

Difficult-Win1400

Yeah, we and congress won't learn anything really

jasmine-tgirl

Has anyone asked Gallaudet if he would be willing to testify before Congress?

SquilliamTentickles

i don't know

_Exotic_Booger

https://open.spotify.com/episode/4XNe7Oh8j9OvWGKYFYpwQG?si=jrYe8lZDR1eRBvM1yKubkA This podcast episode has a great talk by Tim Gaullaudet. I highly recommend everyone to listen to it.

PickWhateverUsername

"This, IMO, is compelling evidence of a massive bot-driven disinformation campaign. The bots come out of the woodworks into this discussion trying to discredit Tim Gallaudet, yet they upvote this post so it gets to the top of [](https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/), and everyone sees all their negative comments. it's absolutely insane." Yeah everyone saying bad things about him are bots ... but the upvotes are totally natural and made by real people. I could very well say the inverse, actual people which you can check their posting history / rythm to see if they are bots vs upvotes that we can't verify and seem to be contrary to the people being actually active would point to bots being used to upvote disinformation. Taddaaaaaaa !

Longjumping_Meat_203

You know what's really funny about that accusation? People usually bring out the pitchforks for the talking heads that only give second or third hand information and refer to them as a "trust me bro". Even if that talking head does provide good information and new information that others have not provided. But Tim Gallaudet has not provided anything new and self-admittedly only gives second and third hand information BUT The mob is now saying that that's okay? The disinformation campaign is definitely trying to prop up specific individuals versus tearing down others. We should be paying attention to this. Who are the pitchforks going after and what is their reasoning? Then compare.

speleothems

They seem to be suggesting bots are also the ones that are upvoting their post.

PickWhateverUsername

Yea in fact bots, do the up and down voting, they also make the content, also do the drama, heck even does the moderation of all of that. We just passively watch it all.

TrumpetsNAngels

I dont get that bot critique either. Upvoting a post so the the negative comments get noticed? I think it would make just as much sense downvoting a post so it doesnt show up at the top of the charts.

mddell

2nd most important testimony? All his info is from other people. That wouldn't hold up in court. Imagine a guy in court saying he heard from other people you did something illegal but didn't actually see it himself

SquilliamTentickles

Imagine if the head of the CIA came into court and says he knows you did something illegal, but didn't actually see it himself. But, in his authority and with all the resources available to him, definitively knows that you did do it. that would be pretty compelling and damning.

TechNoirLabs

That is not how the legal system works. What you describe is still hearsay without any evidence to back it up. Rank and government position by itself is not evidence.

cannibalisland

the projection after arguing with you about an unrealistic scenario they made up followed by critcizing you....

scapeartist1976

From his first interview to his most recent, his remarks on this topic go from curiosity to certainty without any first hand experience. In my eyes, he's just a grifter who wants to feel important again. Just go enjoy retirement ffs.

elcapkirk

The chances of a guy as smart as he doing something as dumb as that are pretty low

EV1LK3RMIT

I am happy that he is pro-disclosure and that someone with his background and caliber joined the party. He focused mainly on weather and ocean conditions and has since been involved with the development of AUVs (I believe), so his experience and knowledge are much appreciated in this pursuit. BUT he hasn't really said anything worth noting imo. I'm glad to have him on board.

Arnold729

First off, it’s an interview not testimony. Secondly, he doesn’t really have much to offer in the way of new information. Sure he was one of the first to see the go fast video and has second hand information on USOs but that’s really it. He is credible based on his qualifications and experience. He just doesn’t really bring much else.

ronniester

Some of the douchebags on here make me laugh. Some are bots definitely but some are too dumb to see what's in front of them. Whether it's Gallaudet, Nell, Grusch etc they whine on about they don't know this or that. These are some of the highest ranking officials you can get, as if they're all lying. It's clear from these guys testimonials that there's some other world shit going off and these deniers can't hack the truth.

YouCanLookItUp

Is it testimony if it's not under oath?

cannibalisland

no.

Inupiat

I listened to it today, great interview definitely recommend. I found his interview far more compelling than the Antarctica guy by leaps and bounds.

Oculicious42

I watched it due to your recommendation, now II think he knows way less than I did before watching it, the only difference between this interview and that of a random r/UFO enthusiast seems to be only the fact that he has worked in the navy

dskzz

Just want to say Shawn Ryan is a rockstar. Apart from the UAO stuff his inteviews with operators are insane. And his recent one "Superbad" with the CIA analysist...OMG she dropped like an outrage a minute. It was insane. His interview with Megyn Kelly was also crazy, even a bit of a tear jerker

CelebrationDecent943

I strongly disagree. I mean yes it is good that there are long-form interviews on this topic, and we need more of them I absolutely agree. However, in my opinion he is a terrible interviewer. He asks no follow up questions, goes on unrelated tangents and hes not the sharpest tool in the shed to say the least. Oh and he demonstrates 0 critical thinking regarding any statements made by his guests. Again, I'm glad at least someone is doing this but damn this shawn guy was painful to listen to.

CopenShaken

For sure, some of these interviews are what grabbed my interest in the topic. Any vets on here would love his other stuff as well, a lot of interviews with SpecOps and investigative journalist around the world. Good shit.

Shyphat

The flamethrower dude that fought in ww2 against Japan was an awesome watch

dskzz

Totally! What was insane was he had this one dude on describing a fire fight that happened where a dude got his face blown off. Then later he had on the dude who had his face blown off. It took a while before I realized they were talking about the same incident, their accounts seemed so different even though they were like 20 feet away from each other. Jason Redman was the dude got his face blown off. He wrote a letter - dont feel sorry for me, posted it up outside his hospital room and it went totally viral. The good kind of viral. [https://shawnryanshow.com/blogs/the-shawn-ryan-show/shawn-ryan-show-32-jason-redman-navy-seal-talks-near-death-experience-and-seeking-redemption](https://shawnryanshow.com/blogs/the-shawn-ryan-show/shawn-ryan-show-32-jason-redman-navy-seal-talks-near-death-experience-and-seeking-redemption) Those dudes are heros. The people we hold up as famous pale by comparison. Wife beating NFL players etc

cp_simmons

I thought when you said that he's a rock star that it was Shaun Ryder from the Happy Mondays!

freesoloc2c

For the record, not a bot. No one has to discredit Tim as he's not credible if he's telling stories with no evidence that are all second hand. It's interesting that your headline calls it "testimony" that's the exact word religion uses. You sound really excited that someone told some stories that used to work for the government. Our government lies to us as much as they tell us the truth. Ufology posits the government can't be trusted; you can't have it both ways.  Edit: y'all just sound crazier when you accuse any dissenting comment of being a "bot" or "disinformation campaign."

MiseriaFortesViros

It's funny to me that every time a believer is mad at someone they project their own smoothbrain thinking onto them. Like "bots" are supposedly so effective because they themselves are pack animal non-thinkers. And bots that do what exactly, say that shit is implausible? Guess what would render said bots useless... Oh that's right, *evidence.* "Skeptics" are supposedly just scared, because emotion is all that rules their own decision making process. Like, it's wild to read this as a normal non-government non-American and see what kind of crackpipe shit people will come up with to dismiss what I think are perfectly reasonable and pertinent observations. Whatever congressman is lying because he is funded by big aerospace, oops a pro disclosure congressman is funded by big aerospace to an even greater degree? \*downvotes comment furiously\* It's such a joke at this point. I wonder how much more I would potentially have believed or entertained unless I was continually reminded that the average believer is a fucking moron. And these people think a coordinated discrediting campaign is needed.

freesoloc2c

JewelerGeneral4861

And still we know nothing

Frony_

Mods really need an ability to issue blanket ip bans on these bot farms that come from military bases. We know damn well there's nondescript buildings with offices full of candy ass jabronis who work for the alphabet soup agencies controlling these bots. I know I'm not the only one who remembers the posts on the 30k jump in people active on the sub during odd hours of the mornings.

ZebraBorgata

Your account posts are filled with attempts to discredit anybody and everybody in the UAP community. Is that your sole purpose? That’s rhetorical. I won’t read your reply.

HighTrenLowTest

I'm a disinformation agent, sent from the future! My mission? To stop disclosure from happening.

dskzz

Hell she might. Theres way too much high strangeness in the world to rule it out. By the way, if 3 years ago you said "He believes the Navy routinely sees UFOs or UAPs" it would be exactly the same sort of "not of sound mind" that you say about the ghosts thing. Its exactly the same - either millions of people are full of crap or there is more to the story than meets the eye.

GundalfTheCamo

Would be easy to test. See if she gains information from the communication with ghosts that wouldn't be otherwise available to her. They never do that though.

Vegetable_Camera50

There is no empirical evidence for high strangers outside baseless claims, hearsay, and people's feelings. And this just makes the UFO topic seem more wacky for outsiders. Because they will automatically associate UFOs with the woo or the supernatural. And millions of people can be full of crap too. Because they are saying these things for different reasons. People are mentally ill, delusional, could be illusions, and the list goes on. Unless we have a Phoenix lights type of situations where thousands people are seeing the same thing at the same thing. Other than that most stories are from one or two eye witnesses with no evidence and just hearsay We need hard science and data to prove these things. Not human memory that is known to be shitty.

dskzz

"There is no empirical evidence for high strangers outside baseless claims, hearsay, and people's feelings." This is \*exactly\* what people said about UFOs like 5 years ago.

fastermouse

No they didn’t. At least not anymore than they do now. People have been claiming UFOs are real and are alien built for 60+ years. I believe but not these seconds hand book sellers and grocery clerks.

dskzz

your comment makes no sense.

Vegetable_Camera50

You can't compare this to UFOs. You matter as well compare UFOs to Santa. And even then the evidence for UFOs being NHI is still not compelling.

resonantedomain

Could it be possible that life could exist in a nonphysical form? We know it can exist in physical energy form, from single cell to Us. How about plasma, or quantum forms of life? Could it be possible that we don't know everything about the universe yet?

Vegetable_Camera50

What would that have to do with ghosts? Aren't ghosts just dead humans? If physical energy life can become non physical life. Then does that mean non physical life can become physical energy life too? And not knowing everything about their universe doesn't automatically means anything is a possibility. That's something many people on this sub can never understand. Even unexplained as an explanation, because it's science we don't understand yet. Therefore supernatural is never the answer, just based off history.

resonantedomain

Could it be possible that consciousness precedes physical matter? https://www.nature.com/articles/436029a How did the big bang happen? Did all energy come from nothingness before time and space? Could it be possible "nothing" does not exist? We know life is possible in the universe, because we exist. If consciousness is fundamental, then what we likely mistake as ghosts could be some form of consciousness trying to communicate with us. I'm not here to say I know exactly everything about everything, but I do know there is no center to the universe. And that we weren't the first species to invent fire.

Difficult-Win1400

Ufos are associated with the woo or supernatural. How you feel about that is irrelevant. A lot of you will be playing catch up years from now

Difficult-Win1400

Nope it's associated with woo because consciousness and PSI activity play a part in the phenomenon

Vegetable_Camera50

No it's because UFO means unidentified flying objects. That is a confirmed definition the Government agrees with. It's only people like you who treat UFOs like a religion, that associate UFOs with woo.

Difficult-Win1400

It's too bad that it happens to be true, you're just behind on the learning curve

Vegetable_Camera50

Only true in your head

Difficult-Win1400

Again you're behind on the curve

smellybarbiefeet

Anyone who claims they can speak to ghosts needs to prove that nonsense.

Woosh thats the sound of my last comment sailing right over your head

HighTrenLowTest

Well researched in things with no scientific evidence? Alright then.

Difficult-Win1400

I'm sure you've read the hundreds of unclassified ufo related documents that date back the the 40s to come to that conclusion

HighTrenLowTest

Do you have one slight shred of evidence? You can't come up with anything can you?

Difficult-Win1400

Go on black vault website and there's hundreds of government documents and radar data from multiple cases, but you're not looking for evidence

HighTrenLowTest

So no evidence then?

My_Octopi

You don't believe in time travel?

HighTrenLowTest

Not possible

My_Octopi

Yes it is. Venture close to a black hole or dramatically increase the speed at which you move. Voila time travel.

HighTrenLowTest

Done it have you?

My_Octopi

How original. Another poster who jumps in and makes huge claims and then scamper off at the first question. On what grounds do you believe the universe is teeming with life? Where is your evidence?

dskzz

Things that do exist: Trolls. Annoying trolls.

resonantedomain

How much time have you given to studying this topic? I would recommend Jacques Vallee's Passport to Magonia or John Mack's Abductions before jumping to conclusions.

HighTrenLowTest

I believe the universe is teeming with life. I don't believe it's visited earth. All these grifters making bold claims but can't show evidence or reveal their sources are ridiculous and people just eat it up.

Difficult-Win1400

Why not?

HarryBeaverCleavage

Ghosts and communications with them have been a thing for many years, especially in children. I know of a few myself who encountered ghosts.

HighTrenLowTest

Nobody has ever seen or communicated with a ghost!

Difficult-Win1400

Except for all the people who have seen a ghost

HighTrenLowTest

Ghosts do not exist, Dougal.

My_Octopi

That is a very big claim.

HighTrenLowTest

No, just common sense.

My_Octopi

Yes it's definitely a claim unfortunately you'll move the goalposts and deflect. Prove your claim.

HighTrenLowTest

I don't have to prove anything. Prove they are real, just one bit of evidence.

My_Octopi

So you chose deflect. I didn't make a claim you did. Test your hypothesis and provide evidence.

cannibalisland

how can someone prove a negative?

My_Octopi

Negative what?

HarryBeaverCleavage

Okay dude. Lol believe whatever helps you feel better.

HighTrenLowTest

There's nothing to believe
