I have experienced this on multiple systems. I have noticed that every time there was 3 rd party switches in use. Once they were all replaced with UniFi, the topology became accurate.
Yup, but zooming the view with mouse wheel is broken when rotated. It always zooms to the far top-left corner of the map and you always need to pan the map back to view after each zooming (at least in Safari on macOS).
Hopefully it’ll get fixed with some future update.
It is a nice addition, but i would much more like that they would focus on getting it stable so every device with a mac-address showed up the right place or at bothered to at least show up.

Yeah it was new in the latest update a few days ago.
Finally I can take full advantage of the ultra-widescreen for more than just gaming.
*excel 🤣
Yeah, first read I want one now. Crap...
Exactly why I sent the suggestion to them!
Ah yes, the pyramid-scheme layout.
It's the reverse-funnel system.
MLM - Multi Layer Management
Management Laying Manure.
The trapezoid!
I noticed it. But only like three hours ago.
Yes and its so much better, the device positions are still broken for me from time to time but this is already way better.
yep, I still have 7 devices going into a single ethernet port...

every switch and AP is ubiquiti bar my gateway
Oh wow, thanks for this!! It's going to look awesome on my ultrawide screen.
You can also "show internet traffic", which is awesome to ensure your routing (in my case, IoT and NoT devices) are behaving!
Nice, be better when they get the actual mapping right though.
I'd still prefer it if it could group things into collapsible blobs and fit it all on sensible sized screens though.
Yes it was in the release note for the latest update.
Only thing Ubiquiti should add is a button to download a high res picture of the overview.
This!!!
I checked on UDM-PRO and I don't have any update yet.
Network Server version 8.1.113 includes this feature
It is located on the top left corner of the topology screen. Last icon showing a ‘rotate’ symbol.
Yep still shows wrong info for me.

Does no-one read patch notes before they blindly upgrade?
There’s patch notes?

What!
lol no! That’s fantastic!
Well what good is this and the "flow feature" when the topology is still wrong. Accounting to this my Stove is receiving loads of data recently ....
Yes, it will be great when they finish it and fix the detail labels in rotated view.
About damn time, Ubiquiti!
Yes I think this feature works well in many different deployments.
about time. hated the left to right layout
Mobile app still shows portrait layout.
Mind blown gonna log in and change that immediately I'm on an ultra wide
Not on mobile, evidently. 😡
Didn’t know this! Had better get updates done at work ASAP!
Hmm yeah right in the release notes…. Always worth reading BEFORE updating.
You don't have enough bridges and uplinks if you want this haha.
Until they stop listing my NAS as an oven and my Logitech Harmony Hub as a 10GbE device, I will never open this pile of crap.
It makes more sense, but I also keep 1 monitor in portrait and just use that for the vertical view, like a respectable nerd.
