Caring about animals is very amazing and beautiful but, in Uganda i don't think animal abuse takes priority.
Strays have caused a lot of issues that most people are indifferent to such cases, they go extreme too and poison them too as a risk of rabies is high.
Most people don't get their pets for shots.
Heck I'd recoil if a stray comes to my place as they are usually infected no cap. I had a friend who contracted rabies from a stray cat.

Good that this person is looking out for the animals. But Uganda has way bigger injustices happening to people everyday. People are tortured in jail for no cause whatsoever. You can find their stories on YouTube. Children are on the streets in Kampala with no food, no shelter, no education.
I am sorry but anyone who ignores all these and puts emphasis on the animals problem in insensitive at very least. Every country has its priorities. It makes absolutely no sense to get a dog off the streets when children as young as 10 are hungry on the streets, begging for food in the traffic jams. As an example, to arrest these folks, the authorities will have to put gas in a truck, drive them to jail where they will be fed daily. One can use this same money to drive 5 kids from the streets and feed them with the same food that would otherwise feed the other fellas in jail.
In some communities in Uganda, people will feel so offended by someone who advocates for these resources to be spent on dogs. Uganda needs about 50 or so years to get there.
