Russians trying to fool urkane with those marks and as ukrainians are looking their bingo charts they could see that 'nope, we already downed that' and not shoot.
/s
In reality War Thunder is just poor at simulating what the Russians are poor at. If Russian equipment could get to the battlefield at tip top condition with a tip top crew without ever worrying every single time then there vehicle would probably be that good. Also doesn’t simulate how insane the reach of the US/NATO logistics machine is and that logistics really is what wins wars.
Do the 25’s carry glide bombs? I thought that was Su-34’s at super high altitude and then run like hell away from the front. Aren’t Su-25s slow and maneuverable for ground attack?
We have seen footage of the SU-25 mostly lobbing unguided air to ground missiles, indeed in very close proximity to the ground. They are nonetheless also capable of deploying 250kg and 500kg glide bombs from higher altitudes and will also be used in this role, due to the low operational costs of flying the SU-25.
How does

= trust me bro?
They post these in the sub often and I can't remember them being wrong in the past.
As I wrote above, I understand that U24 is a source. My argument is that a photo and a post title is not a story and isn't useful imformation.
I'm not saying that a Russian SU-24 wasn't shot down, just saying that posting this isn't really useful without some additional information.
Sorry I startled everyone around here by suggesting that everything that U24 posts isn't the most important and useful thing ever.

I hope this is true. The red ‘x’ looks photoshopped though.
I dont know... looks like it's part of the plane.
Nah, it's all AI nowadays. I can almost guarantee you the cross isn't on the plane in real life.
I think the cross is real but the plane AI
So what you're saying it's actually the red cross?
There's no real life in existence, mate. We are now all part of a AI-generated fiction.
Neo, is that you?
I am not real. Reddit and internet as whole are a product of your imagination.
Yeah if it was real it'd be the Eastern Orthodox cross.
Probably yeah
This looks like AI. I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few AI images in my time.
They weld them on to stop drone attacks.
Part of the red X air defense system.
Nah that’s MS Paint
Is MS paint part of the new Us aid package?
Oh! I thought it was the aiming marks on the shooty part!

Dough!!!! (Homer Simpson voice) 😁
That's a picture from the missile's front camera. The red cross ❌ its target.
It is real. It is an orc tactic to confuse the enemy and make them think the plane has been destroyed already while its not.
so does the dcs aircraft
That is actually the image the patriot operator saw on his screen. When the su-25 blew up.
Someone need to take some dawn and a toothbrush to that plane.
The rate of a plane a day downed, is back.
First shipment from the US must have been a lot of AA
Did they run out of boats to sink?
No, Russia only has submarines now
Details on the aircraft's modification and the crew's condition are currently being clarified.
Did it at least eat like 4 stingers or did war thunder lie to me?
War Thunder is so Pro-Russia that it deserves sanctions.

Fell apart after take-off?
The front fell off...
That’s not supposed to happen…
I at least hope it was towed beyond the environment.
Was it made from cardboard?
I'm led to believe that these are constructed with very stringent codes regarding the materials that can be used. No cardboard. Also, no cello tape.
It was Granitt again I tell you
Hoping this is a sign that the resupply is making it to the front lines.
One more glide bomb carrying war criminal down.

Source?
Channels operated by Ukrainian military and monitoring resources. We are also waiting for official information.
Ty
np
Sexy
Might be better to wait to publish this sort of stuff until you have more than a photo with a red "X" on it. Just sayin'
OP is credible.
I understand that. But posts like this don't really help with that. "Trust me bro" isn't a story.

It's United24, they are a literally a "source".

Straight to hell
Keep making it expensive for Poot’n. Slava Ukraini!
Byebye froggy
I see those Stingers finally reached the front lines.
Slava Ukraine.
Looks half destroyed already
Friendly fire for sure.😉
Pilot probably just dropped his cigarette
Where are the F16’s that were given a year ago?
promised a year ago. It’s so slow
# Tango down! 💥🔥👍
The most obese-looking fighter jet ever!
Me 163?
Great if it happened.
Yes yes yes
Every time I hear about a Russian plane going down I kind of get a justice boner.
Did the ejection seat fail? Hope so.
Great news! One less plane to bomb Ukraine tomorrow.
21 hours later and no other news about it, no source, no evidence…yeah mate
Oh no....anywayy...
Sadness! 😬 EDIT Russian bots can go fuck themselves
Say what you want about Russia but those machines are gorgeous
Good news for reddit mod armchair generals.
Good news for anyone fearing for their life in Ukraine
Redditthinks Ukraine is some perfect place. They don't care for your personal beliefs or freedoms. Like any of them.
Weird take here considering the bombings on appartments has less to do with Ukrainian politics
