Yeah I'm exited for the confirmation pictures. But i doubt that all batteries where distroyed in my understanding russia has 1 S500 Unit consisting of 4 systems with 4 lunchers each. But anyway one of this systems beeing destroyed is very good news :D
I believe the radar unit is severely damaged at the very least, based on what I read. That would make all systems down until they can replace it. If true, I see them pulling all these batteries out of ATACMS, drone and saboteur range. But all this needs confirmation, yes.
As a former Targeting Officer, I can confirm that the RADAR sections are the highest-priority elements of the S-500 system. Without RADAR. there are no targets for the system to engage.

Must decrease the performance significantly, but it is a protection against slower fixed targetting like GLMRS.
It is actually quite strange that expensive munitions like GLMRS do not contain any simplified image homing in methods.

The air defense system did not detect the enemy. The enemy is in the Kremlin, but the drones were from Ukraine...which is a peaceful country. So everything is normal here.
The Tor is pretty defenceless against low flying small drones like this, but the Pantsir really doesn't have much of an excuse with the auto-cannons specifically included to deal with these kind of threats.

I thought the same thing. That seems like too many top of the line (for russia) AA systems to just be targets of opportunity.

The Russians have FPV drones as well, we don't see those videos here. I imagine the sound is terrifying to everyone at this point.
