Iāve see some that last for significantly longer than just 1 to 2 minutes. Sometimes you can see a sky full of them like 12 different ones at the same time from various jets that have flown over. I donāt think 12 jets flew across the sky within a minutes time. Some can linger for upwards of 20 to 30 minutes. Though I have also seen the ones that dissolve just moments behind the jet.

It's a jet contrail about the lower level of clouds. The contrails cast shadows on low level clouds = long straight shadow lines. See it all the time here in Seattle due to Boeing.

My guess is it was the shadow cast by an old explorer satellite, one of the ones with an 18 m long whip antenna. After all sunlight is extremely directional and very much like a laser you would be able to confirm by using your GPS coordinates and exact time to see what satellites were overhead.

You can see the jets contrails way up above the clouds. It's the sun casting a shadow of it. The reason you don't see it normally is due to direct sunlight cutting through the contrails, but due to the moon blocking a majority of the sunlight it's able to cast the shadow.

My guess is it was the shadow cast by an old explorer satellite, one of the ones with an 18 m long whip antenna. After all sunlight is extremely directional and very much like a laser you would be able to confirm by using your GPS coordinates and exact time to see what satellites were overhead.

Honestly it looks like a plane passed threw coulds there recently and just combination of events gave it weird look and feel

You can see the jets contrails way up above the clouds. It's the sun casting a shadow of it. The reason you don't see it normally is due to direct sunlight cutting through the contrails, but due to the moon blocking a majority of the sunlight it's able to cast the shadow.
