The guys from that podcast that post in here all the time that had St. Louis as 2nd worst team in the league beginning of the season

yesrushgenesis2112

Oh yeah, fuck Colby Lolol

WatercressIll

Colby was smoking rocks when he made his predictions

angrylawnguy

Those dudes are USFL dick suckers. Still, I listen every week, great show.

GuyOnTheMike

The guy last week who said they should’ve kept all 16 pre-merger teams

srchl

Is that the guy that said people still call Houston “gamblers” when honest to god I haven’t seen a single person do that ? 😄😄

GuyOnTheMike

I believe he did

DoctorFenix

That would have been a fun 5 weeks before they filed bankruptcy and folded the whole league though, right guys? /s

FlagFootballSaint

Yeah that was weird

Body-for-LIFE

I was convinced the Brahmas were being slept on, especially when the preseason championship odds were released.

yesrushgenesis2112

Aged well!

Illustrious_Low4160

My hot take before the season started, Deestroying would lead the league in FG's

Level-Umpire-8545

I didn't think DC was going to be great, but I expected them to at least make a playoff push. https://i.redd.it/dp8898psqk4d1.gif

WatercressIll

The Ref from the UFL Podcast predicting the Roughnecks would go 12-0 and win the championship lol

yesrushgenesis2112

Rough em up! Still at least he was a good sport about it all, unlike Ducky who just oozed misery and hate every time he was on their round table streams.

WatercressIll

Only thing that got roughed up was Roughnecks fans hopes and dreams. Agreed he was a better sport about it than Ducky (although he did make me laugh flipping to Panthers fandom as the Mailman lol)

OnlyForIdeas

Don’t forget our record, that got pretty Roughed up too 😔

WatercressIll

CJ Johnson is a moron. Fingers crossed you get someone like June Jones to come back and coach your team next season.

OnlyForIdeas

I wonder if we were being punished for his hubris lmao. But don’t worry he was a year early, in 2025 we’re going “All in” and going 12-0

WatercressIll

I’d rather it be you guys than the Stallions.

CazzyBaby2

That ta'amu take is right

prswwd

Brahmas offense is still just smoke and mirrors. But it is enough for there defense which has been awesome.

Calebrc075

This isn’t a hot take but more of a wish at the beginning. I seriously think they should’ve kept Seattle, and used the opportunity of downsizing and realignment to have a 12 team league and put teams along the west coast.move Vegas to San Diego, the Breakers to San Jose, and either bring back the Wildcats, or put a team in Portland.

I_Hate_Summer_

We had a thread for hot takes the day before the season started, I went and found it [LESS THAN 24 HOURS TO KICKOFF DROP YOUR HOT TAKES AND BOLD PREDICTIONS : UnitedFootballLeague (reddit.com)](https://new.reddit.com/r/UnitedFootballLeague/comments/1bquk2w/less_than_24_hours_to_kickoff_drop_your_hot_takes/) These were mine >DC misses the playoffs (Abhram Smith gone, lost their two best push rushers and you KNOW that won't stop Gregg Williams from blitzing) > >Birmingham gets humbled > >Panthers are the second best team in the USFL I'd say they all kind of came true. Birmingham didn't truly get humbled, though they've looked very beatable the past month and that discussion around them is changing. My favorite take in the thread is this one though >Mark Thompson has such a mediocre season that it silences him on Twitter. Only the first half of that one was right

yesrushgenesis2112

Hahaha these are great

TheRadek

I predicted good seasons out of Michigan and San Antonio, a drop off out of DC, and that Houston was hands down the worst team in the league.

OnlyForIdeas

Dang man next year I need you to predict that Houston wins the championship so we can get some of that magic in a good way

CapnCrunch347

I saw someone on this sub say that Luis Perez would do GREAT as a starter in the NFL. Yes they used a fully capital great.
