Sometimes I just think how wild it is that, at the very least, I get to experience something so traditionally human. I thought I would never love anyone romantically until them, it just didn't seem like something I could do. But I did it, and I don't think I will ever really stop loving them now.
That's genuinely what it feels like sometimes. I feel like a very well blended-in alien that sometimes forgets how to act around humans. And then someone came along and they loved that about me, and I loved how easily human interaction came to them. Nobody else in my life knows now how much I struggle. Feels like I have a little fleshy human mask on all the time, no matter who I'm with.
(Side note: I might be autistic)
