i guess a con in morrison is that the elevators aren't that reliable, so often there's only one working. additionally, there's only one laundry room for the entire building, so a lot of the times it's backed up. i'd still recommend it over the other halls since it has AC though. overall your social life will bloom naturally in uc res and wouldn't really be res/house dependent- my friend group ended up containing people from all three residences

Morrison has air conditioning, and the dining hall is in the ground floor. The rooms are also relatively modern from what I’ve heard. Can’t say the same about either of thw other two halls. I have friends that live in Whitney that hate it, don’t know much about sir dans.

My first room in Whitney was a nightmare (basement room which was the smallest in the building lol). My second room, where they relocated me, was much bigger than any of the rooms in Morrison, and I really loved it. Whitney is luck of the draw in that way but the res community is pretty good there

Morrison is the 'nicest' but honestly the common rooms are tiny and community is lacking. I loved my time in Whitney (sure its old) but it has a lot of charm and it was def the most social one in my year

the house in sir dans is very cozy since it’s small and rooms are super nice. I loved the common room as well. It’s connected to morrison hall so you don’t have to go outside to access the dining hall. Bathrooms can be a bit nasty but tbh you get used to it.
