I’ve had good luck with Iconoclad downtown, and I’ve also done uptown cheapskate a couple times. Uptown Is kinda picky and doesn’t pay much for clothes, but it’s better than nothing.
I would check out iconoclad first. They are a
Interesting store that sells unique clothes, but will take lots of normal clothing as well
Uptown in Layton is so much better! They give better rates and tend to take more clothes. I think Uptown in SLC just has too many people trying to drop off, so it becomes a storage issue.
I usually just go to the Murray location. I’ve had decent luck there. I try to avoid the downtown or Sugarhouse locations since they don’t take much from my past experiences
Idk if it makes a difference but at one point I started only bringing in a tote bag full and made sure it was in season or soon to be. Definitely take that with a grain of salt since most of my stuff never sold :/ also look into stores for a more “mature” crowd (haha)- there’s one on parleys way - I’m blanking on the name. They don’t buy at that location but the other stores of the same name do.
If it's good stuff sell on ebay or Facebook marketplace.
The reseller places can be a bit pretentious about what THEY think is in demand. But the market is larger than they 18 year old girls they try to pander to.
Uptown Cheapskate and Plato's Closet.
They will probably not take all items, but will take some - especially if they are in good condition and a good brand. Usually just $2-5 per item, but if you need money, it's better than pure donation to Goodwill.

IconoClad!
Maybe you should look into Indy Clover!
What about Preloved?
Seconding. Also presentation is everything. I would put the clean, folded clothing into nice bags to have them review.

I'm leaving this subreddit cause people ask honest questions and get downvoted. Why does this sub even exist?
I don’t see your other comment ?
