Just a heads up for OP no mans sky is seriously hardware dependent. I have had a terrible experience with No Man’s Sky performance (Vr perfkit, Nvidia profile inspector on and off, and many other combos of non conflicting optimizers. Just be wary. I could be an idiot and am missing something but I just cannot seem to get it to work. Elite Dangerous, half-life alyx, Microsoft Flight sim all work well but NMS is a different breed of anger and optimization. I love that game so much, sucks I can’t play in vr.

Skrim vr and fallout 4 vr, need to mod them to get them to there full potential but it's most definitely worth the effort

I only have 2 suggestions for you beat saber and project wingman.

OMGihateallofyou

I wish I had not waited so long to play Project Wingman. It is a nice arcade like break from realistic simulators.

StarConsumate

Have you tried vtol vr?

HoloLensPadawan

Super hot, moss

Cyberpunk 2077 has a free vr mod with motion controls called vorpx. It was my favorite for being in an immersive world with fantastic art direction.

I can't believe I never see tales of glory on any of these lists

Microsoft Flight Simulator and DCS World are great if you have a joystick, HOTAS or yoke. I know Pavlov has already been recommended but I give it another mention/vote. I don't know what I would do without OVR Advanced Settings and TurnSignal. Also Cosmic Flow and Google Earth VR.

Some games to wish list for when they go on sale. Skyrim VR apparently wait for a sale, base game is awful, but modded it's one of the best experiences out there, wait for a sale though it goes more then 50% off often. Fallout 4 VR for the same reason as Skyrim, but rather being one of the best I'll only call it a good experience. Bethesda dropped the ball with it and it didn't get the love that Skyrim VR did. Wait for sale. Resident evil 2/3 remake, resident evil 7 and village have amazing fan mods that make them feel like native games. I started RE 2 last week and even though it's a mod it has to be one of the best things I have played on VR. No man's sky and elite dangerous have VR modes if space exploration is your thing, I hear they are pretty decent, but I haven't played them. All the games I have mentioned go on sale very often, I think some of the resident evil games are on sale right now.

DevilMaster666-

SKYRIM is a must have, its the best VR game I have played so far.

Baconmcwhoppereltaco

Jet island, open world flying and grappling. Collectible mods in the world make it even better, like the one that turns off all motion comfort and you can properly spin around and upside down.

Tawnik

geez all of these answers and you didnt include... half life: alyx Lone Echo 1 & 2 budget cuts also has a #2 if you are a star wars fan the vader immortal 1-3 are all pretty cool on the meta store Pistol Whip walkabout mini golf Breachers VR Ghosts of Tabor Arizona Sunshine, first one is kinda slow but thought it was good and there is a second one i havent got yet Walking Dead Saints and Sinners Accounting+ I Expect You to Die 1, 2, and 3 Subnautica was awesome in vr also one of my favorite things ever to do is sit in my ship out in space in Elite: Dangerous soon contractors warfare will be out

half-baked_axx

Lone Echo is an Oculus exclusive sadly :( Not available for Valve Index

WMan37

But I *did* include Pistol Whip and TWD Saints and Sinners, this means you didn't even read 10 recommendations in. I can explain the other stuff though. I kept everything to what could be bought on Steam, since they have an index, so no Lone Echo or Vader Immortal (not that I'm a star wars fan outside of Andor post-disney trilogy anyway) I also stuck to stuff I personally have played, I wasn't gonna recommend something with quality I can't personally vouch for. I haven't personally Played Budget Cuts 2 yet even though I own it, That being said, I should have remembered I Expect You To Die, because I did play and like that. Arizona Sunshine didn't go in because I think it's somewhat dated compared to After The Fall. Justin Roiland's humor is not my cup of tea so I didn't include Accounting+. I don't like Extraction Shooters so I didn't include Ghosts of Tabor. Walkabout Mini Golf has weird alignment for index controllers that makes it super uncomfortable to play, however this might have been fixed with the SteamVR update that emulates other controllers a bit better since I tried it.

Tawnik

no this means i was drunk at 3am last night when i made that comment lmao.

WMan37

Understood. >!I've been there before.!<

Tawnik

lol but wait whats your excuse for not having Alyx on there!?

WMan37

Did you read OP? They already know about Subnautica, Half-Life: Alyx, Blade and Sorcery, and Superhot.

Tawnik

ohh ha, i did read your whole comment (then obviously forgot part of it) but no i didnt actually read everything op wrote lmao alright nevermind

LightGoblin84

VtolVR if you like flying snd shooting

rlvysxby

Skyrim vr is my most played vr game but it took me about 5 hours to mod it correctly. Make sure to get the mod for Subnautica as well. Outer wilds is pretty darn good in Vr also (it’s a mod.) If you have people to play with then I recommend valheim (mod), the forest and 7 days (mod). They are so much fun.

Sullkattmat

You can make Valheim VR compatible? O.o

rlvysxby

Oh yes it is brilliant, one of the best vr games. And you can play with others who are using flatscreen. You can look up how to do it on YouTube.

Sullkattmat

Damn that's awesome gotta look into that, barely played it since I bought it..

Tawnik

which mod for subnautica? been a while since i played it in vr but i did almost a whole playthrough and didnt have any mods for it...

rlvysxby

Oh man. The Subnautica vr kinda sucks by itself . But if you get the mod submersed. It’s brilliant
