For almost every VR title on the market, you do not need full body tracking.

nobuu36imean37

you need to buy a suit like in readyplayerone and you need a threadmill too it cost around 20k for everything. just kidding

djamairo010

Ha, Wish I could do that.

Uninterested_Viewer

How are you just casually dropping $400 on something without doing basic research into what you're getting?

djamairo010

I actually did buy it. It stated that for PC VR, you needed an extra accessory, but it didn't specify which one, so that's what confused me.

I think they’re talking about the link cable so you can play wired PC VR

Virtual desktop (the version you buy on the quest store so don't buy the steam version) supports camera based full body tracking but for anything that isn't a social game you don't benefit from full body tracking. Dedicated trackers would give you better results but imo they are not worth the extra cost.

Ah, Thanks.

I would really think about if you really need full body tracking. There are not even 10 games that support body tracking, and actually benefit from it.

Rasputin5332

Almost no VR game *requires* full body, at most finger tracking for stuff like [Mutant Boxing League VR](https://www.meta.com/experiences/5903243299776693/) and other fitness and movement based games
