NRG, OpTic, and even Acend had issues after winning championships. It's pretty normal; there are probably more teams with the same issues. But hey, they are just trying to win like other teams.

Unrealistic expectation maybe has an effect, streaming/prac balance is really up to the individual and I don’t think has a big effect on performance.
Teams struggle after going to internationals because they get exposed—everyone else gets to watch your defaults, your rotates, and your tendencies with util/positioning/etc. Also, adapting to new patches with less time than other teams is difficult. The other teams can anti strat you, and all you have to go off of are month old games.
That being said, it does look like 100t are having some problems beyond just the expected struggle. I expected them to be losing because of the other teams having hard reads, and their map pool looked a bit shaky. But from these last two matches it feels like their confidence is in the gutter, they’re playing more slow/scared, and there aren’t many pop off moments. Maybe an internal issue that’s affecting comms or trust. Who knows.
If they don’t wake up asap MIBR is about to run it back and kill their playoffs chances lol

NRG: 3-4 with G2, C9, KRU left.
If 100t lose to MIBR they’re probably losing to EG and LOUD too though so maybe you could count NRG in, but NRG have got to win 2/3 of their next matches at minimum. Maybe even 3/3 honestly, with arguably harder opponents. It’s way too hard to predict lmaoo but I’d say NRG look better than 100t at the moment 🤷♀️
This actually happens to a lot of teams, there used to be a 2nd place curse back in the day in 2021/2022 where even though a team performed really well in a tournament and finished as the runner up, they would drastically underperform the next tournament
stg the only fanbase I've seen hate their players more than 100T fans is GE fans. If the players aren't 13-0 2-0ing every team they come across these 100T fans collapse onto the players like starving wolves.
why do 100t fans have a disproportionate amount of defeatist, cynical fans compared to other teams?
I'd like to say it's because they were losing a lot prior, but if you compare a similarly vocal fanbase in sen, they were losing too - perhaps even more. but when sen didn't make shanghai, we didn't see grey clouds cast above their banner
FNATIC in 2021, SEN post Iceland... it's honestly normal to have a "sophomore" slump in this game. The meta constantly changes, and some teams can't play certain metas like others. You have more VODs of yourself, less rest, etc. Not really about bad mental.

100T match vs LEV was not even close though. In previous matchup against LEV it was at least competitive. Only 4 round in 2nd map was very bad.
