Xros… you’ll never look back fr

apmass1

i second this. i used vuse products since 7th grade (im 21 now) and went to xros 3 mini for 4 months now and im never going back. vuse alto was $120 a month and now its $40 a month. much better vaping too

sirlucd

Damn that's a lot of savings! Seeing a lot of good xros feedback so I'm going for it. Thanks for the help, sick of spending way too much a month on disposables lol

apmass1

do it man. i would also recommend trying to get the 3ml pods for it. the 2ml ones go by way too fast, i had to carry a bottle of juice everywhere with me. idk what it is but that extra 1ml makes a huge difference

nik_says_hey

Vaporesso xros nano 3! With .8ohm pod. That is the closest I got to a dispo. I did switch to the GeekVape aegis hero 2. Because I stopped high dose nic. I use 6mg now with the hero 2.

redi6

yep. i use 0.8 with 8mg salts. just ensure you get an xros with adjustable airflow imo. i leave mine half way open, and for me it's perfect.

sirlucd

Sorry I'm a bit of an airhead with vaping honestly, all I know is I get 20ml vapes with 2% nicotine salt per mL(Limit in Canada). Is the 0.8 pod a measurement of nic. Salts or something else? Also I was in Mexico a month ago and bought a 5% and daamn I miss it lol

redi6

2% nic salt is 20mg/ml. that's the max allowed in canada. for me that's pretty strong, i use 8mg/ml. in the US and other countries i believe they have up to 5% (50mg/ml). the 0.8ohm measurement is a measurement of the amount of power that the pod will draw essentially. a lower ohm coil will run more power through it and generally produce more vapour. for a typical pod style vape, the ohm ratings on the pod are usually anywhere from 0.6 up to 1.2. if you go lower than 0.6 you start moving to bigger tanks with very open airflow (also known as subohm vaping). generally, the more airflow and juice you're going through, the lower you want your nic, so that you don't overdo it. if you're used to 20mg/ml juice (i.e. 2%) then that's fine in most pod based vapes with restricted airflow. for me, when i switched to an xros (from a much larger tank style vape) i went to 10mg/ml and then i've been slowly moving down.

Lackingfinalityornot

I second this but with 1 ohm pods if using salts

nik_says_hey

Yes yes!!! I just reread my comment and realized I put the .8 cause I was thinking of low nic! Haha. 😆

redi6

depends on amount of nic. i use 8mg salts and use the 0.8ohm pod, airflow half way open.

I’d recommend the xros 4. They’re very simple for moving away from disposables and have pretty good flavor.

sirlucd

🙏 thank you I'll look into it!

NoMakeupp

I think you’ll have good luck with the xros series

Skwaddelz

I got the Xros Pro and make my own juice. The one complaint I'll say I have is my battery seems to drain at idle or when turned off. The 0.6 Ohm coils on normal power increase the battery length.

ITALIXNO

I got the Elfmate 500 and got the empty pods. It's the same size as a disposable elfbar. If you're used to vaping 20mg dispos though, you might want only 12-15mg e juice, because it does produce a stronger, quicker, more consistent draw than a normal elfbar Also, when the coil stops working, all you do is replace the whole pod. Look it up on YouTube

Religion_Of_Speed

Pod device would be best. Like the ones that look like disposables but just have a pod that you fill and replace occasionally. I have a Caliburn but the XROS is good too, that's what I had before, they're basically the same thing. And that goes for most of the popular devices, there's really only so much you can do with a stick vape. Battery life and quality of coil are the differences. But I'd probably go with either a Caliburn or XROS since I can personally confirm that they're both good. You'll probably change pods every 1-3 weeks, depending on a bunch of factors like juice, how you hit it, how often you hit it, specific batch of coils, and probably more. I'd say I average every week and a half-2 weeks and I'm basically hitting it constantly. And I usually charge it at the end of the day, lately it's been a bit more since it's old and the battery is starting to diminish. General advice, in no particular order: Obviously only use salt nic, these aren't normally made for freebase (big bottles). It might take you a bit to dial in the nic level, I'd start low and work up rather than starting high and working down. Keep an eye on how much juice is in there, they can burn super fast if you let it run dry (and hit it). Have designated places to keep it, I keep hearing of people losing their vapes somehow and it's a bit more inconvenient when it isn't disposable. For example, mine is always in my hand, in my pocket, on my desk, or on my coffee table. I know where it is if I don't have it. Whole thing, device and juice, will probably cost *around* $50. If they want significantly more than that I'd check online. And if you have any other questions feel free to ask.

fornerolli

just left them by buying a caliburn G3 after watching a lot of reviews. Great device, super recommend.

M4_Martini

Same very good device all around

gaminSince88

Vaporesso Armour Max. Love it.

abbakusx3

I got a geekvape h45 a couple weeks ago from my local vape store.. it’s definitely been worth it to me! So many more flavors to try, the juice lasts a long time.. more customizing for strength of mic.. some juice mimic disposables pretty good too! I also have been really liking decadent flavors.. I can say this is definitely going to be cheaper in the long run!
