Mine said 7 days no bath. I love taking baths so it sucked bad but I waited the full 7 days. I would wait man otherwise even just one day early if something bad happens you will be kicking yourself
Open wounds should be kept clean and dry to heal properly, going swimming not only invalidates both of those but it also exposes the wound to chemical irritants used in cleaning the pool.
The type of surgery means nothing. No scalpel is just a gimmick so it does not matter.
The doc does not want the potential for any bacteria to enter the wounds.
You respond to many of these posts calling no scalpel simply a gimmick, yet studies have shown that when done right, no scalpel does lead to less complications on average:

It’s more about the water washing away the surgical glue and the introduction of bacteria to a surgical wound than my “balls getting waterlogged and my scrotum filling up like a water balloon.” At least according to my doctor. NOX is a hell of a drug!
I think it has to do with bacteria entering the area.
My surgeon said no bath (shower only) or pool for 2 days. That being said I didn’t even feel like swimming the whole week so I didn’t.

Imagine cutting yourself, then swimming in sewage. Same thing.
Bacteria/ water makes things move around easier probably not good for it but i really dont know just a guess
The stitches can dissolve
