The real lake monster was the friends we made along the way.
Way back when there was a big dock with a lifeguard tower, a concession stand, a jukebox, and the entrance to the park was a death trap turn across highway traffic. I would have liked to have seen that.
There were 2 or 3 docks. We would go swimming at night and swim underneath the docks.
The lifeguard tower and concession stand was there when I was a kid. Is it gone now? Not sure about the dock.
