It looked a lot like cerceris fumipennis, but extremely small. Maybe a centimeter long.
I think it could be Cerceris clypeata as well? Though I’m not too familiar with Indiana insects
I second C. clypeata. Looks more like insolita and clypeata than fummipennis. Beautiful I love wasp.
