That's the tired animation version of the AA
If you do it with a full stamina bar it (should) do the regular version, but this year stamina is a little finicky. Sometimes you'll get tired animations early in the match and then a tired one/regular one back to back.
Oh I didn’t even know tired finisher animations were a thing. But yeah it’s weird, even pretty early on in the match it still does the whole duck You Can’t See Me sequence. I legit don’t think I’ve witnessed a regular AA animation once since I bought WWE 2k24, it’s just done that every single time
Any chance you're using the Word Life era Cena? I remember last year his '06 version had that AA as a default finisher, so if you're holding down the finisher prompt instead of tapping it that may be contributing to it as well
Literally only get tired animations now, even after altering stamina settings. Last year we had “fatigue” which when toggled off disabled the tired animations. Can’t ever get the regular tombstone for instance all because I decided to have a match go longer than 10 minutes
Yes! Me too! Haven’t gotten Undertaker’s tongue stick out pin animation once because everytime I hit the Tombstone he falls over and I have to crawl to the pin instead. The fatigue is WAY too exaggerated.

Nah I’ve only been using the regular modern version Cena

Like it’s awesome for generic moves or moves without specific tired animations but Cena, pedigree users and taker really suffer from the system
They added the tired animation from the old one to both AA’s. So now they both use the same one. 2K19 had it correct. No idea why it was changed.
Theres 2 Aas
There are actually more than 2
2 basic ones
