I was definitely expecting Aximand, but it's great to see that there is something for the campaign side of the book. I guess Aximand's reveal is in two weeks, just prior to the book release.
They also have two unique units (Golden keshig and speeder) and the leviathan dreadnought. It's odd how well supported White Scars are because I always thought they were the least popular legion/founding chapter.
To be fair, the special consul has not been released which makes me fairly annoyed because I want to buy it in order to convert it into a Rune Priest for my 30k and 40K Wolves.
They literally just got a new model not even a month ago, got 2 praetors 2 unique units, special consul confirmed to have a second primarch at some point, unique leviathan if ya want forgotten look at ravenguard or iron hands whose new character most likely won't be used by them
Apparently the generic SoH praetor is actually also supposed to be Aximand considering how it shares the exact same armor with one of his illustrations from HH Legions
I don't need another HQ model for my blackshields, I don't need another HQ model for my blackshields, I don't need...
Yeah, my BS are former DA, WS and NL. 😂
He looks brilliant. The armor is beautiful. The pose is great. And its MK2. ❤
Would just like to see the face without the facepaint/tattoo, so I can see for what I could use it nicely.
At some point I probably will get week and end up with HQ nr. 9
I love that scene in the last episode (I think) where the lads are all getting a bit low after everything that went down and he pops up like "I'll give em a lil dose of the grooming standards"
So what I meant by "beast" is that he was a paedo: https://www.marinecorpstimes.com/2014/11/20/sgt-maj-portrayed-in-generation-kill-sentenced-to-prison-for-child-sex-offense/
What is it with White Scars characters and tempting me to purchase them by virtue of their helmets alone? First the Cataphratii Praetor, who I actually gave in and bought, then Qin Xa with his Oni mask, and now this fantastic little number that almost reminds me of the owls Hibou is named for…
It's weird, I don't have this problem with the head upgrades. Just the characters (with the exception of the power armoured Praetor, whose helmet isn't actually shown in the preview pictures and I have no idea what it looks like).
To be fair, this is technically artificer armour so it’s gonna be fancier than standard mk2 plate. I hope they don’t change mk2, it’s the best looking mark
I just noticed the knee when you said that. That is a weird decision if that’s a standard. I love how sectioned the armor looks. But let’s wait and see.
It reminds me of the new Black Templars Marshal and Helbrecht, with the legs. The knee being seemingly attached to the legs, the way the armour's segmented...
Makes sense around beta Garmon, just odd that they gave a model to such a minor character. Could have been mentioned in the campaign and if this was GW of old they could have given him rules without a model so you could kitbash him yourself. Almost all the other recent characters have been characters that have deserved models and rules for years.
Thats one gorgeous model!
One thing that makes me smile about that guy's name, Hibou means "owl" in French, I find him hard to take him seriously and not imagine him with really big eyes and swivelling neck

Need more death guard and white scars so I can recreate Warhawk
This is a really good model. It’s interesting to see how similar this MK II armor is to MK III. I thought there would be sloping plates to make it visually distinct.
This mark does have a lot more rivets and tbh the rivets match the heresy era better. If there will ever be a plastic MK II tactical squad, they’re probably going to look like this.
initially, a fair portion of the white scars turned in favour of suppourting horus and the legion had a mini civil war, in the aftermath, the traitors were either executed or if they were repentant they were allowed to rejoin the legion in shame, and were basically put on suicide missions to regain their lost honor in death
Traitor turned loyalist is actually a pretty cool concept that I'm surprised we've not seen more of it. At least as far as I'm aware anyway. I know when the traitor legions first turned to chaos there were plenty of those in the chapters that remained loyal but I've not heard of someone turn traitor then return to loyalist
If I ever start as space marine army, I don't care the chapter, if it's loyalist, Chaos, renegade or lost, I am buying and painting this mini. Heck I might just get him as starfinder mini
I am surprised they didn't show Aximand today, but this is amazing.
I'm sure they'll get to have a face-off soon.
I see what you did there.
I See what you did there

You know, looking at that white scars are mostly forgotten, i am okay that rn they finally remembered about them
They do have two praetors, a character and a special consul. I wouldn’t call that forgotten.
They also have two unique units (Golden keshig and speeder) and the leviathan dreadnought. It's odd how well supported White Scars are because I always thought they were the least popular legion/founding chapter.
Not sure if they're not popular I just think it's more fuck painting white
I find it incredibly ironic that they were one of few Legions to get a unique Leviathan, since they don't even _like_ Dreadnoughts.
Well they were the last legion to get specific units and primarch.
And Ebon Keshig
Don't forget three Horus Heresy novels which is way better than what alot of other Legions got.
Which one is the character? I thought this was the first one.
I don’t remember his name, but it is a terminator with two swords
Ooooh, the guy with the cool ogre mask, how could I forget about him, his model is cool as hell.
His name is Qin Xa. Master of the Keshig and fought Eidolon.
To be fair, the special consul has not been released which makes me fairly annoyed because I want to buy it in order to convert it into a Rune Priest for my 30k and 40K Wolves.
My Brother in Russ I'm glad I'm not the only one who took one look and said *"thank you for my new Rune Priest GW!"*

Thank fuck for that
Making an aximan model so people can curb stomp it yah!!!
He always was the wrong Horus.
That helmet looks fantastic.
Honestly, that is a killer mini, from pointy boots to top of topknot.
My thoughts exactly.

Every collection needs one of each consul choice. :)
Hey I think that is a problem for all of us, it ain’t an army if you do not have atleast 1 HQ per unit
gotta shave that blade xD
Police that bladestache
Turns out that dude was a beast.
I love that scene in the last episode (I think) where the lads are all getting a bit low after everything that went down and he pops up like "I'll give em a lil dose of the grooming standards"

Oh.... Oh no. For fucks sake
What is it with White Scars characters and tempting me to purchase them by virtue of their helmets alone? Because White Scars are the most refined, patrician-taste legion.
Fucking love this model. Fits the mongol Turkish themes.
Always happy to see a white scar. And in Mk ii armor as well
Shame if the Mk2 is remade with flat pannels but plastic is plastic
Flat panels and no separate kneecaps. Kinda sucks, the original mkii is so iconic and unique
To be fair, this is technically artificer armour so it’s gonna be fancier than standard mk2 plate. I hope they don’t change mk2, it’s the best looking mark

Cocaine’s a hell of a drug…
Oh wow. If he gets a mini, I hope my dude Torghun Khan can get one too someday!
I was gonna say this. NOT ONE STEP BACKWARDS!
OH SHIT HE LOOKS COOL!
Odd that they went for Hibou and not Torghun as the Sagyar Mazan character rep on the tabletop.
I thought so too but actually makes sense considering this whole release pattern has been themed about the Garmon system and Shadrak’s resistance
Makes sense around beta Garmon, just odd that they gave a model to such a minor character. I mean he did chop off Horus Aximand's face with an Iron Hands Zweihander.
Torghun came closer to killing Mortarion than anyone else.
Thats one gorgeous model! One thing that makes me smile about that guy's name, Hibou means "owl" in French, I find him hard to take him seriously and not imagine him with really big eyes and swivelling neck
In French Canadian his name sounds like "y boucane" which means "he's generating smoke" like on a bike.
Hibou en bécyk à gaz, makes sense
I do not know who you are, but I will find you, and I will buy you.

We are never ever getting the opposite are ww
Well this guy is a loyalist turned traitor turned loyalist, so maybe that kinda counts?
Wym opposite?
A loyalist turned traitor who isn’t from one of the traitor legion
At most, a renegade if they do any Ashen claw shadelord
Ohhhh fair. I don’t know about any of those tbh.
Black Scars, obviously. ;p
What’s the opposite of a scar I wonder. Black Healthy Skin?
Nope, there’s not a single loyalist character in the Heresy who willingly switched Horus’s side despite there being about 200 of the reverse.
Fairly interesting that his rules will be in Beta garmon, he was not one of the four stated, there might be more.
I had an idea to start a traitor white scars army and then they realise this, my wallet is going to cry
That is a bitchin helm
Not much of a White Scars fan, but that's rad af.
God I love this paintscheme.
I've wanted to start scar's for a while and this is it
Look at his shoes!!!
Huh, I thought he's supposed to be using Katana, from the art.
I'm glad he isn't, White Scars should be Turkic/Mongol in appearance not Japanese
This is bad fucking ass.
Oh my god he is absolutely incredible. Might be time for some allied white scars.
He's beautiful. 😢
Qu'est-ce que ça fait un harfand des neiges dans un toaster? Hibou Khan!
That paint job is tops
"I will find redemption"
Im not a HH fan, but this is hands down the best mini from the reveal. One of the coolest marines I’ve seen
One of the coolest helmets I have seen for HH
Lets Fucking Goooo!!! SO keen
The sculpt is nice but that face paint is really cool!
Yesterday on the major reveal show: we have literally nothing to show for horus heresy Today on a wh community post: here is this sick white scar
This is probably the only new Mk2 we've gotten for a while.
I wish the base was a bit larger but the model itself is amazing!!!!
That helmet remind anyone of anything? *This is the way*.
Beautiful
This may be my favorite HH character model so far, gw really is tempting me to start collecting White Scars
Man that looks sick
Sick helmet
It looks great, I can't wait for all the upcoming characters (Looking at You dantioch)

He looks amazing !!!!
This is MKII????
I will take any model that isn’t a SH or IF, it helps that these new ones are absolutely gorgeous like damn!
What they do to mkii
Hell yeah!
He was never a traitor - he was misguided.
Story behind this guy? The Imperium never struck me as the type to welcome back a traitor
initially, a fair portion of the white scars turned in favour of suppourting horus and the legion had a mini civil war, in the aftermath, the traitors were either executed or if they were repentant they were allowed to rejoin the legion in shame, and were basically put on suicide missions to regain their lost honor in death
He cut off face of one of 4 Horuses closest advisors. Just one slash, and the man’s PTSD got even worse
Whats the deal with this guy?
Why does his sword have hair on it?
Shiiii
HAI CHOGORIS! ORDU GAMANA JAGHATAI!
What's the lore behind this?
That helmet is beyond sick
Looks really sick, did we ever get a confirmation of his fate?
IIRC >!He dies assaulting Aximands ship in the Solar War!< \-edit- That is incorrect, that appears to have been >!Jubal Khan!<
Oh, F, would have loved to see him surviving the Heresy, I love Shiban but I want a named WS surviving all this besides him
Traitor turned loyalist is actually a pretty cool concept that I'm surprised we've not seen more of it. At least as far as I'm aware anyway. I know when the traitor legions first turned to chaos there were plenty of those in the chapters that remained loyal but I've not heard of someone turn traitor then return to loyalist
Urge to start whitescar army RISING
Dude the literal day before I started IW instead of going into WS they show the stormseer now one of the coolest looking characters
That face almost looks like the Legion of the Damned Veteran Sergeant Attica Centurius...almost.
The Beta-Garmon book said 5 characters. We have him, Tybalt Marr, Meduson, and Haar. Aximand's probably a good guess.
If I ever start as space marine army, I don't care the chapter, if it's loyalist, Chaos, renegade or lost, I am buying and painting this mini. Heck I might just get him as starfinder mini
It is the year 40,000 and the Iron Warriors still await a praetor.
In the grim darknes of the future, there is only sons of horus characters.
As a salamanders player i can relate
In today's episode of how can I make you a son of Horus?
What armor mark is that?
artificer mk II !
The mk2 doesn’t give me any hope now
This is amazing. It’s beautiful. But where’s the Stormseer Consul model? When will we ACTUALLY GET THE MODEL
The stormseer is out on gw has been for about 2-3 weeks
we got it almost a month ago dude
