I built mine (and Eradicators, too) in multiples of 5 and used the extra bodies for character conversions. After all, 5 or 10 have been standard Marine squad sizes since forever, there's surely no way they'd take away the ability to run 5, right?

Tbf, the squad pictures show 5 swords, but the end pic doesn’t, so maybe there are more than 1 pistol? I’m hoping so anyway!

Anyone else notice that the Iron Warrior banner doesn’t match the transfers on the IW sheet?
Could be just some nice freehand mixed with existing transfers, or maybe as part of the new transfer set they mentioned comes with this, every legion gets a new banner

3. Upgrade kit + 5 mk6 bodies (1 mk6 sprue)
all kits come with infantry addon sprue for plasma pistol, claw and fist etc.
at least that is what the description sounds like
I like the design for the banners being modular so you can make them more loyalist or traitor looking. Same for the swords and helmets etc they look like they could fit in with just about anyone and that's a good add for the game overall. I'm looking forward to seeing the transfer sheet they've mentioned in the article too.
The one thing I find questionable are the combat shields since you need the arms, hand pieces and then the shield separate that's gonna take up a lot of sprue space that might have been better allocated towards some more unique arm poses or unusual wargear etc.
In the WarCom post they call them combat shields but the war gear option for a command squad is for boarding shields. I thought combat shields and boarding shields have different invulnerable saves. Can these shields be either?
I think these are awesome, mild disappointment at them just being upgrades after such a wait but that's pure pickiness from me, I am confused at the limitation of only providing power swords but even so they look awesome, the helms are a big W for me

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad for it, but I kinda miss some of the flavor from the old one. With the sculpted designs on their chest.
Honestly I’m surprised they haven’t made sculpts for the chest pieces that you can just swap in.
The banner is a massive improvement though

The banner parts slap. The rest is pretty middling imo. And it's going to cost an arm and a leg I am sure.
It might cost just the same amount as the solar auxilia command since it is the same amount of sprues and pretty much the same thing.
Nice helmets. Depending on the price I this'll be my first buy in a long time.
Wonder if it’ll be cheaper to buy two command sprues and a tactical squad or the “bundle” they mentioned in the warcom article.

It's not a Mk.IV pistol. It's the pattern of bolt pistol that happens to be in the Mkiv kit.
Did anybody else see 3 kits for the different armor marks in the article? Aren’t there only two armor marks in plastic??

I'm guessing the bodiless kit might be direct-only, similar to the standalone Contemptor/Leviathan weapons.
It’s 3 kits yes, 1 with MKIII, 1 with MKVI and the last one is just the upgrade sprue on its own.

They may chose to take combat shields for 2 points, or boarding shields for 5 points.
