I used black primer. base coat with burnt umber and unbleached titanium.
For scale i used purple and magenta. For highlight I mixed magenta and unbleached titanium.
And I used agrax earthshade for tone down. It is main key for dark nid.
I love it, it never made much sense for me to have the Tyranids so bright and colourful.
Having some colour is fine, but as a predator they would be far more blended or dull to reflect its design and genetic material.
1. Black primer
