NTTD...regardless of the Bond relation (of which I am a big fan), it is the most striking watch amongst the options. It's a watch that can, undoubtedly, be dressed all the way up in a suit. But something about the old radium color against the black face with a couple of red accents makes it look rugged and worthy of its diving pedigree. Would look great dressed down on its NATO strap.
Then again, the Tudor is a very fine looking watch as well. Have always liked their signature snowflake hour hand!
Of these 4? The white Aqua Terra by a mile. The unwarranted broad arrow and “aging” of the NTTD doesn’t work for me, and the Tudors, as nice as they are, are just too ubiquitous. I’d rather have the Black Bay Pro than either of the Pelagos.
Have you looked into the Tudor Black bay 58? Kinda has the same color scheme as the NTTD(ine if my faves).. a bit smaller but still a nice sized diver and elegant... NTTD $8.5K... BB58 $3.5K... i would say get the bb58 and an aquaterra. For the price of one.. 🤭
The NTTD is my choice out of the ones listed. However it is incredibly expensive for what it is.
Also a fan of the black dial pelagos.
Everyone needs a black dial diver 👍
I’ve owned several Tudor, Omega, and Rolex. For me personally I’ve found that Omega > Tudor / and or Rolex.
But I understand the allure of both. I just find Omega quality, availability, and design language to be superior.
I own both Tudor and Omega, and between these I would probably go with the Pelafos but that's just my personal preference. The NTTD is a great watch, it might even technically be a better watch, but is a bit too sporty. The Pelagos is more versatile.
Hello, fellow watch enthusiasts!
After months of research, saving, and admiring from afar, I've narrowed my choices down to four exceptional watches, each with its own character and appeal. However, making the final decision has proven to be more challenging than I anticipated. Thus, I turn to you, hoping to gain insights that only a community as knowledgeable and passionate as ours can provide.
**Watches I currently Own**
* Rolex Pepsi 126710 BLRO
* Rolex Datejust Blue dial + Flutted + Jubilee 126334\\
* Seiko Speedtimer SBDL085
* Seiko SKX007J
* Casio GA2100
* Omega Speedmaster 1861 Hesalite
First on my list is the **Blue Tudor Pelagos 42**. I realy like the vibrant blue dial and bezel. While the titanium case and bracelet promise durability and comfort. The Pelagos is renowned for its technical prowess and is a true diver's watch at heart, featuring an impressive water resistance and a helium escape valve. Its aesthetics, combined with Tudor’s reputation for precision, make it a strong contender.
Then there’s the **Black Pelagos 42**, the blue version's more understated sibling. It shares the same robust build and technical features but does so with a classic, versatile black dial and bezel that seems to promise a perfect blend of functionality and elegance. This piece speaks to me of adventure but also of a kind of timeless sophistication that could complement any attire.
Moving on, the **Omega Seamaster NTTD (No Time To Die)** has caught my eye, not just for being related to Bond. I love the tropical brown dial and bezel, aged lume, and titanium mesh bracelet, feels both vintage and modern. Its association with James Bond adds an undeniable allure, but beyond the glamour, it’s the watch’s build quality and Omega's co-axial movement that truly captivate me.
Lastly, the **Omega Aqua Terra with a white dial and rubber strap** offers a different appeal. It’s perhaps the most versatile of the bunch, straddling the line between sporty and dressy with remarkable ease. The white dial is clean and elegant, set against the sporty chic of its rubber strap, making it a watch that feels at home in both boardrooms and on boats. Its Master Chronometer certification assures accuracy and reliability, rounding out a very compelling option.
I dont want another rolex (lol) but i need something casual and lowkey that I could wear everyday.
I really appreciate your help and Thankyou!
If it must be one of those 4, the NNTD should be it if you can live with that ghastly helium escape valve. If omega ditched that thing and slimmed the thickness down then they’d double or triple their sales.
The AT is the only one of these watches that looks good to me.
Every Tudor I’ve seen irl is slightly disappointing even in a boutique display window.
Every Omega otoh looks better than in pictures. I don’t like Seamasters though.
Looks like you want a sub, just save the money and buy a used sub, a sub is always better than these. If you want a sub but not quite, the Pelagos is great as is an old 79090.

Just decided to put this up today if you decide on the AT. 3,800 shipped.
You’ve got three divers and one “GADA” type piece.
I think first decision is do you want a diver? If so, I’d go with NTTD. I just think it looks better, and Tudors don’t really do much for me.
But you said you want something casual and low key for every day wear, which to me says GADA style more than diver. So I’d go with the AT, but on the bracelet which is more versatile, +/- get the rubber strap separately if you want. Rubber straps for me are extremely informal, not something I’d wear in a boardroom personally.
I was planning to buy a blue Pelagos but I tried one on in Amsterdam and really didn’t like it on my wrist. I went back to the drawing board and ended up getting that Aquaterra. No regrets. I absolutely love it!
I am \*the\* worst person to ask about this. I love both brands. I have a 1997 Seamaster and am waiting on a Speedmaster reduced (small wrists) which should be arriving tomorrow. The Speedmaster is my grail (technically the moon watch is my grail but I can only go so far before admitting defeat).
However, I also love Tudor. Small (6", only semi-flat) wrists. I absolutely want a Black Bay (without the diving bezel), but cannot make up my mind between the 32 and the 36. Seriously, I've been waffling over this choice for almost two months. That, and whether or not it should be black, or blue (I like the silver but don't want to have to squint). I can't tell you how many hours of staring at wrist shots on Google, videos on Youtube, and Reddit threads I've read on the choices and still cannot make up my mind.
If you haven’t tried on the bb36, you should before buying. The folding clasp is so weirdly long and extends past the length of a 6 inch wrist on the underside. It’s considerably longer than the the lug to lug of the watch itself. So disappointing.
Yep, I recognized this and you're not the only person I've seen to have mentioned it. I went with the 32 instead. I don't like smaller watches typically, but I recognize this particular style wears larger than others and it seemed fine.
You could buy a nice pair of Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba (Seamaster look-alikes, from a good brand) for 1/4 the price of an actual Omega. (But there's nothing wrong with an Omega Seamaster/Globemaster or Tudor Black Bay either. Of those four . . . NTTD.)
https://preview.redd.it/fs0auz4rbbec1.jpeg?width=1700&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cd301f678544a6be9912eb434b6d255e9684111e
I personally lean AT and at some point sourcing a bracelet that would truly allow you to dress it up. The NTTD is sweet but not as versatile and I just don’t care for the hour hands on the Tudors.
I own the NTTD.. bracelet sucks for smaller wrist ppl (i have a 6.7 wrist). In sum, it is not comfortable. Secondly, under low light conditions, it is not very legible. I own it because it is my first Bond SM and favor it more than others until the 60th anniversary came out which I have no $ for.. haha
I’ve hated bronze watches but that bond omega is something else. One of the few watches I’ve seen in advertisements that have actually drawn me in. I’d say go with that one. Super classy.
Between the omegas I prefer the bond watch. For the Tudor I’d go black bay 58 with the black dial. That’s the one I have on order. 😜. (I know the ones shown are the pelagos). Prolly the bond overall though. It looks really great in person, just for that price I’d prefer a Cartier Santos or something. You didn’t pick out any bad options though.
I think it's hard to go wrong with either tudor or omega, but among these four, I would go with the no time to die. the aqua terra is nice too though if you want something more casual
NTTD! Little birdie told me that Omega will discontinue that model soon. Get it while you can, the second hand market price for it is pretty good atm too!
What watches do you already have? What colours do you prefer? What do you like most? 😁 my fav would be the BLUE NTTD, i’ve seen the dark grey one on my dad’s wrist and i’m not fond of it. Also the Milanese bracelet is something different to other metal bracelets.
So I had both, the SMP300 and the Pelagos blue. Sold both, the smp to a stranger and the pelagos to a friend who eventually wanted to sell it back to me after 2 years. Not once have I looked back on selling the smp but I cant tell you how often I thought about the pelagos. I was extremely happy when I got it back and it gets the most wristtime by far right now. That being said I strongly recommend that you try them both on in person and choose what speaks to you the most. Can't go wrong with either of those.
I have had the NTTD and have that exact AT. I sold the NTTD for a Milgauss but it was a fantastic watch. There's something about this AT that's special and the dial changes color in different lighting. Also love the raised indices.
You can check my post history to see my collection so considering all the watches I have, the 007 SMP is such a phenomenal timepiece.
I’d go with that of the 4.
Cannot stand fauxtina, unnecessary additional crowns and arrow hands, soooo I'll go with the Pelagos. I would go full on with the 42 mm, the 39 is a little too generic in my opinion.
If it’s not a Rolex ( in your case a sister Tudor ) go for omega any day.
The bond omega has a logo at six which is proprietary for Royal special services. Which adds to the value legally as you are paying for needles and screws add royalty to it.
Both omega look sick, you can't go wrong with any of them. The problem with Tudor is that watch enthusiasts will always see you like a guy who hasn't money for Rolex, and you settle with Tudor. That being said, I'm not one of those, but I saw alot of comments on the watch groups and forums where I joined.
I’d buy the omega Aqua terra (38mm version). Also, my recommendation is that you buy it with a stainless steel bracelet instead of the rubber strap. Bracelets are almost impossible to buy separately from omega (in case you want to change looks in the future) but you can always purchase a rubber strap from them
I have and love a Pelagos but the NTTD is in a different tier at almost double the price. I’d trade my pelly for a NTTD right now but that’s not how my bank account works.
I'd wait. The Omega NTTD is an extremely hyped model right now. I would wait 6-12 months before buying it, as the hype will color your perception.
Look at how easy it is to get a BB58 at a huge discount now. Tons of people bought them and decided over the last 6 months that it wasn't right for them.
I've owned two of these, the AT (same configuration) and the Pelagos at upper left. The AT is a super well balanced piece and has stuck in my collection for almost 5yrs. The Pelagos got sold off within 18mos.
The Pelagos is a neat idea, it's super cold and super matte, and really has staked out an interesting extreme position. It has a cool bracelet too. Downsides are that it always looked a little bit blah when coordinated with clothing, and is like 1.5mm too thick. I ended up getting an SD43 and then basically never wearing the Pelagos again, so I sold it.
I never really "got" the SMP. It always looked cheap or something to me. Don't love the bracelet style nor the brown on the dial. I'd pass.
The AT is my summer/beach watch. It's not super expensive so I don't worry about scratching it on the sand, and it just has the vibe. Barely wear it in the winter. Wouldn't wear it with a suit. But I do really like it within the niche where it thrives, and I still wear it years later.
It's hard to answer this without knowing what else you have. For a one and only, given these options, I'd go with the AT. It's the most versatile, it's got the co-axial movement, and is the most legible. For a diver... I'm torn on these. I like the NTTD but wish it wasn't a "James Bond" watch as do not like the association (Look ladies, I'm James Bond. See I have the watch from the movie. Dumb. IMO) I also don't care for the look of the bracelet, but I'll admit it is comfortable.
The blue Tudor is a lot of blue. The black is not really exciting or interesting, just another black diver. I'd probably choose the blue between them. But if you're looking at a Pelagos, I'd say the new Titanium Pelagos FXD is the most interesting of all Pelagos and what I'd recommend if you don't like the AT suggestion, or just want a traditional diver with the timing bezel.
This pushes me more to the AT. Plain bezel and white dial... more of a field watch than a diver. But admittedly I don't know what color dials the seikos have.
I never understand these types of posts. Surely if you're spending this kind of money, you should choose whichever one you personally like the most. Why do need approval from the hoard?
I LOOOOOVE that version of the Aqua Terra. But when I tried it irl I was a bit overwhelmed. I like the feeling of my BB GMT because it feels substantial and like I’m actually getting a $4k watch for it. That’s something I never felt with any other brand. But the short encounter I had with the AT didn’t dissuade me, I’ll definitely need more wrist time with it to make a good decision
No wrong decisions. All are strong choices. I like the look of the AT but I have a few iterations of divers already so I like the diversity. Good luck!
I really like my matte black Pelagos.
Definitely a daily driver in my rotation. The weight of the titanium is noticeable, in a good way.
I bought it a couple of years ago at full price ($3500). You can likely find a used one for significantly less.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I would love the SMP more if they removed the stupid helium escape valve. It serves no purpose at the depth it's rated for, and just looks hideous and uncomfortable.
Anyhow, my pick is the AT. That dial is so good.
I’m torn between the blue Pelly (I have one and it’s AWESOME) and the AT. How many divers are in your collection? Mine used to be 95% divers. Now I’m down to 30% divers.
The Tudors are great and definitely project the most tool watch vibe. If you even compare them with a Submariner (which isn't particularly refined in the Rolex catalog), their designs are so much more blunt, if that is the right word.
I own a white dial Omega Diver 300M on a black strap, and as much as I love it, I don't find it particularly versatile. White calls attention to itself.
For that reason, I am myself considering trading in my current Omega Diver for the NTTD version even though I am trying to express my own identity beyond the Bond watches I own.
Omega
Which one :)
The titanium NTTD!!!!!
I feel the same way. The other watches aren’t even in the same league as the NTTD Omega. My dream watch at the moment.
ad much as they are both cool. i have a life long fetish for that exact specific aqua Terra.
I’d say bottom left
That AQ Terra speaks to me
NTTD
+1
the AT b/c I especially like that hand set and dial, then the pelagos black, the pelagos blue, then a timex expedition
Timex 🤣
I don’t see the joke here. Timex Expedition is god tier and anyone who says otherwise needs to read about indiglo
I agree with you LOL. I’m more of a Casio guy tho 🤷
NTTD if you don't need a date function. Blue pelagos otherwise.
LHD pelagos? the black dial and tan indices kinda combine the style of the omega and pelagos
personally i would go for black pelagos
NTTD or Pelagos 39
Blue Pelagos 42 for me!
Of these 4? The white Aqua Terra by a mile. The unwarranted broad arrow and “aging” of the NTTD doesn’t work for me, and the Tudors, as nice as they are, are just too ubiquitous. I’d rather have the Black Bay Pro than either of the Pelagos.
Since you already have an Omega Speedy I implore you to get the Tudor Pelagos range.
The blue on the Tudor has a funny way of being nicely subtle, but also really popping when you handle it. My vote is that.
The NTTD is my choice out of the ones listed. However it is incredibly expensive for what it is. Also a fan of the black dial pelagos. Everyone needs a black dial diver 👍
I already have a black skx but it isn’t “luxury”. It’s a hard choice lol but you might be right about the black Pelagos
Yeah definitely. Cost wise, I just don’t see it at three grand over an SMP.
Really look into the pelagos fxd
I have the Omega bottom right. Use it everyday. Strap is comfortable.m
I prefer Omega as a brand but the Tudors are sweet too. Choose base on preference!
Blue Tudor. If you go Seamaster I personally like the white dial one with black rubbber strap not these options, don’t love the NTTD
I vote Tudor, but I like the [Benrus Type I](https://www.benrus.com/pages/type-i) that my Dad wore and inspired the Black Bay.
If I were you, I'd get a Pelagos (the black Pelagos FXD) and be done with watches forever.
Tudor wins the bracelet game, which is important to me; but get the one *you* like the most.
Omega.
Omega NTTD, i bought one month ago and its amazing. Been on my wrist every single day and only gained 15 seconds.
Omega, either one. Tudors are nice, but that snowflake hour hand isn’t my cup of tea.
P42B is my favorite and daily driver. What a great watch. Future classic.
Omega without think

The AT is the only one of these watches that looks good to me. Every Tudor I’ve seen irl is slightly disappointing even in a boutique display window. Every Omega otoh looks better than in pictures. I don’t like Seamasters though.
Have you considered the Pelagos LHD? It is essentially the same as the NTTD.
Any omega is better than Tudor :)
So, you're telling me that Tudor is now at the same level as Omega?
Omega over Tudor. NTTD over Aqua Terra.
Looks like you want a sub, just save the money and buy a used sub, a sub is always better than these. If you want a sub but not quite, the Pelagos is great as is an old 79090.
I’ve alr got 2 Rolexes. I want to diversify
Eh. Then just get something completely different like a Cartier. Just my opinion.
Just looking at this pic. My eyes keep going to the blue pelagos. It is an absolute unit. Once you see the lume you will only love it more.
AT all day!
Omega NTTD all day
Nttd my grail
My vote is the Seamaster 300 007, hands down. They are all fantastic options but the Seamaster you posted is my grail.
https://preview.redd.it/9dy02xm18gec1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b6aaaefc7fd7fe20f78a841062d050ba933f0332 Just decided to put this up today if you decide on the AT. 3,800 shipped.
You’ve got three divers and one “GADA” type piece. I think first decision is do you want a diver? If so, I’d go with NTTD. I just think it looks better, and Tudors don’t really do much for me. Divers are definitely a casual GADA style
not for me, but you do you

I was planning to buy a blue Pelagos but I tried one on in Amsterdam and really didn’t like it on my wrist. I went back to the drawing board and ended up getting that Aquaterra. No regrets. I absolutely love it!
AT for me but I'm biased because I'm probably buying the same in best future. After that the blue pelagos.
If money is no longer object then NTTD (saying this as a Tudor fan boy)!
Aqua terra 🔥
omg
Wut
Seamaster non-diver
I am \*the\* worst person to ask about this. I love both brands. I have a 1997 Seamaster and am waiting on a Speedmaster reduced (small wrists) which should be arriving tomorrow. The Speedmaster is my grail (technically the moon watch is my grail but I can only go so far before admitting defeat). However, I also love Tudor. Small (6", only semi-flat) wrists. Awesome. Post a pic of the 32 when you get a chance
I should be getting it early next week. Soon!
NTTD. always NTTD.
The Speedy…
If you can get a 007 seamaster than wtf are you still doing thinking about it
Omega NTTD
I’ve tried on all four watches. I ended up buying the Pelagos. It just felt nicer. Titanium is awesome.
That AT is calling out for you…
Without a doubt, the 007 No Time To Die!
You could buy a nice pair of Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba (Seamaster look-alikes, from a good brand) for 1/4 the price of an actual Omega. (But there's nothing wrong with an Omega Seamaster/Globemaster or Tudor Black Bay either. Of those four . . . NTTD.) https://preview.redd.it/fs0auz4rbbec1.jpeg?width=1700&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cd301f678544a6be9912eb434b6d255e9684111e
NTTD FOR SURE 👍
I’m partial to the white teak dial Aqua Terra, but on a bracelet.

How about the black dial Aqua Terra with the rubber strap, that one looks fire.
Bottom right for sure. I almost bought that same watch myself while on vacation.

NTTD is the choice.
NTTD! Little birdie told me that Omega will discontinue that model soon. Get it while you can, the second hand market price for it is pretty good atm too!
Aqua Terra
Omega NTTD
Omega white dial looks really cool
Completely biased opinion: the seamaster 007
Omega Aqua Terra
What watches do you already have? What colours do you prefer? What do you like most? 😁 my fav would be the BLUE NTTD, i’ve seen the dark grey one on my dad’s wrist and i’m not fond of it. Also the Milanese bracelet is something different to other metal bracelets.
Not even an omega fan boy but the 007 is the best looking of the bunch.
Aqua terra
I have the blue Pelagos, and I absolutely love it. But having just tried on the NTTD, I’m obsessed. I’ll be selling my Pelagos to get it.
Tudor Blue or Speedmaster black
hamilton pocket watch
From those I'd go Omega Speedmaster
NTTD is special if you are willing to pay for it.
Can't go wrong with either of those.
omega left one
The seamaster green is a fantastic watch too
NTTD omega is the nicest one out of all imo
If you have the $ the Omega SMP No Time To Die.
I have had the NTTD and have that exact AT. I sold the NTTD for a Milgauss but it was a fantastic watch. There's something about this AT that's special and the dial changes color in different lighting. Also love the raised indices.
I'm a fan of blue Pelagos but Omega is much more versatile
Do you not want to try something more interesting?
You can check my post history to see my collection so considering all the watches I have, the 007 SMP is such a phenomenal timepiece. I’d go with that of the 4.
The Omega bond one, that mesh bracelet is gorgeous and it's such a comfortable fit.
NTTD or Blue Tudor for me. Both are top tier at what they do, the other two have alts that I prefer
Omega
Omega NTTD
Bottom left omega looks sick
Cannot stand fauxtina, unnecessary additional crowns and arrow hands, soooo I'll go with the Pelagos. I would go full on with the 42 mm, the 39 is a little too generic in my opinion.
I'd go with omega. If I were to choose one of the two in the pic, it's be the aqua terra.
James Bond >
Omega every day.
For me, that titanium omega is a grail. So much cooler than a tudor
If it’s not a Rolex ( in your case a sister Tudor ) go for omega any day. The bond omega has a logo at six which is proprietary for Royal special services. Which adds to the value legally as you are paying for needles and screws add royalty to it.
LHD Pelly
I like that NTTD but it's way too big to most people, so tudor diver or omega aqua
Not close in my opinion. That AT and NTTD are in a different class of watches than anything Tudor has.
i’m a sucker for the nttd, but that railmaster is sweet too.
NTTD all the way 🔝
If it was me, I would be going for the Pelagos. Instant boner
Omega AT is far and away the best looking watch here to me
The bond watch is by far the best looking… if it fits your wrist. Going by this sub, that’s not always a given
I’d buy the omega Aqua terra (38mm version). Also, my recommendation is that you buy it with a stainless steel bracelet instead of the rubber strap. Bracelets are almost impossible to buy separately from omega (in case you want to change looks in the future) but you can always purchase a rubber strap from them
Not entirely, send it in for service and you can buy one at that time no problem.
omega > tudor
Omega NTTD
BB58 or 54
Buy a gray market NTTD
Omega NTTD Please get it, as I can't and it's an awesome watch
NTTD
Tudor Pelagos.
Omega or …. What???
Omega FR
I have and love a Pelagos but the NTTD is in a different tier at almost double the price. I’d trade my pelly for a NTTD right now but that’s not how my bank account works.
Seamster for sure. I like the blue one but I'm not cool enough to wear the bond one.
Top 2 tudors are pretty basic imo
Omega AT
I'd wait. The Omega NTTD is an extremely hyped model right now. I would wait 6-12 months before buying it, as the hype will color your perception. Look at how easy it is to get a BB58 at a huge discount now. Tons of people bought them and decided over the last 6 months that it wasn't right for them.
I have Tudor and omega. Omegas are far superior in every way.
Lower left looks like id do some klondike bar shit for it
I've owned two of these, the AT (same configuration) and the Pelagos at upper left.
NTTD all day!
I have a Rolex 126710BLRO, Blue fluted datejust 41 126334, seiko Skx007j, seiko speedtimer, casiooak
This pushes me more to the AT. Plain bezel and white dial... more of a field watch than a diver. But admittedly I don't know what color dials the seikos have.
Black and white
Maybe a gray dial AT?
NTTD if you like a no-date, Aqua Terra if you like a date window.
I never understand these types of posts. Surely if you're spending this kind of money, you should choose whichever one you personally like the most. Why do need approval from the hoard?
I love all four of them! If i had an extra 20k to blow, then i'd buy all four of em lmao.
Omega aqua terra
I am an Omega Fanboy and owner of SMP300, but gosh, these Pelagos are beautiful watches! I'd go for the blue one.
Depends what you currently own. If you have a diver, I would suggest Omega AT. If you don’t, then Omega NTTD.
Only true diver I have is a skx007J My gmt looks like a sub but it Isn’t a divers
No wrong decisions. All are strong choices. I like the look of the AT but I have a few iterations of divers already so I like the diversity. Good luck!
Tudor left me quite whelmed in person. omega felt special
Omegaaaa
I really like my matte black Pelagos. Definitely a daily driver in my rotation. The weight of the titanium is noticeable, in a good way. I bought it a couple of years ago at full price ($3500). You can likely find a used one for significantly less.
Tudor is an inexpensive rolex same designer went from rolex and started tudor I personally prefer the omega
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I would love the SMP more if they removed the stupid helium escape valve. It serves no purpose at the depth it's rated for, and just looks hideous and uncomfortable. Anyhow, my pick is the AT. That dial is so good.
Aquaterra
If you can swing the NTTD, ignore the rest of these. That's the one
I’m torn between the blue Pelly (I have one and it’s AWESOME) and the AT. How many divers are in your collection? Mine used to be 95% divers. Now I’m down to 30% divers.
the omega at. goes with everything.
Out of those 4 I’d say blue pelagos. All good choices
Bottom right but Aqua Terra Blue one!
Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m Master Co-Axial Blue Dial Rubber Strap Men's Watch 220.12.41.21.03.002
I love the lower right Omega. Very cool.
