Holy 2000, batman! Love this collection. Garish, and personally totally off-putting, but there is nothing better than seeing someone find something they truly love and going full send on it. These watches were designed to be exactly what they are, not to have mass appeal, and I'm so happy they found the right owner.

Seiko Kinetic was my first nice watch back in the the early 2000’s, still got it, still love it.

Yep I got one too. Kind of messed it up trying to remove the weird armored rubber bracelet.

Same for me, but the strap deteriorated for me over the first couple years.

My wife bought me one of these. It seemed messed up from the beginning and the rubber band broke apart in pieces. I didn’t even get to wear it half a dozen times…

That would be the SLQ009 and it's even more sought after. The 007 is made of stainless steel which, although not as scratch resistant, I prefer the look of. And, you know, it's got 007 in the reference number. The name's Sportura, Seiko Sportura.
