If you're thinking about selling it, does it really have THAT much sentimental value? Sell it

Ministerium-Wahrheit

I would say you already made a choice. Get rid of it. These memories are in your brain, not your watch.

Spicywolff

If you’re not using it, it’s just an expensive paperweight. Remember what it was and buy something that you’re going to use. Put it up on r/watchexchange oddly enough Epping too big for you, would probably be just right on my wrist

CivicIsMyCar

Just sell it, dude! Life is too short not to get what you want. And before reading the rest of my comment, please try not to get too upset. I am not trying to be mean. You might be slightly over thinking all this. It's a two year old Seiko. It's not like it's a watch that your great great grandpa bought in 1912 and it was passed down from one son to the next and when it was given to you, you realized you didn't like it. It's a watch you've had for two years. Just sell it and get another watch you'll actually enjoy wearing.

Bill__Q

Sorry, we can't answer that for you because every person is different. All we say is what we, as individuals who are not you, would do.

Fish_Beard_Face

Welcome to the eternal struggle! I've gone as far as taking photos of watches and gathering all the accessories with the intent to sell, and then I change my mind. They're just watches. They won't go bad if they sit. There's no reason why you can't just get the C. Ward and put the Seiko in a box for a while. Maybe you'll wear it just once in a while or maybe you won't touch it ever again. Either way, you'll have your answer.

Dave-1066

There’s nothing sillier-looking than an oversized watch. Sell it and get what you really want 👍🏻

PostNutAffection

The best analogy I ever heard for sentimental value was something along the lines of "If your Grandpa died and left you a shirt, you miss your Grandpa. Your Grandpa was not the shirt." Some shit like that

WatchandThings

I think it's a waste to keep a watch in the drawer unworn for years. Much better to let it be used by someone who will appreciate it and wear it daily, than let it slowly fall into obscurity and become garbage waiting to be thrown out. I sold off all the watches I don't wear. Only ones that I kept do not hold enough value for the hassle of a selling process.
