I actually wasn’t looking for this watch and got it as part of a trade deal. And I’ve absolutely loved it. But for my main high value piece I’d rather have something sportier. I also am absolutely addicted to watch trading lol.
I looked at buying this last year but my personal taste is also for a sportier piece - I ended up with the SBGH329, which was a Shanghai-only LE. I love it.

This watch is 38.5 and has a short lug to lug so I think it’s a pretty universal size. I generally prefer smaller 34-37 but this feels just right on me.
Excellent condition SBGY007 Omiwatari with box papers and clasp. Warranty card is dated May 2023. Two straps, one black leather and one deep blue croc strap. I do not have the original black strap, but pretty much exclusively wear it on grey leather and suede as it suits the dial much better and can be worn more casually.
Not much to say about this one. Hands down the most stunning dial of any watch I’ve owned. I prefer it to my White Birch, which seems over the top by contrast. Beautiful Zaratsu case finishing with no notable scratches on it.
Pretty perfect size at 38.5mm diameter with a short 43.4mm lug to lug.
Manual wind 9R31 Spring Drive movement that keeps impeccable time. You can see the beauty as well as the power reserve (70 hours) through the exhibition caseback.
Price: $5299
Trades: only in person LA area unless you have many transactions. Mostly interested in neo vintage Rolex but I’ll consider anything including more GS.

Love that dial. Ya I’m really eyeing some Rolex or perhaps a Mist Flake but those seem hard to come by on Reddit where the best deals are.
