no. just no. this whole ai thing is stupid. either it makes something bad, or makes something that's so good, it makes artists scared that their gonna be replaced by this dumb ai bs that doesn't even make real art.
AI art generators aren’t a purely bad thing. I use it for reference images, since I’m good at imagining what to draw, it’s just translating it onto paper that I suck at. I’m hoping to not have to rely on AI art generators in the near future. And if something doesn’t look right in the image, if it’s a simple fix, I can fix it myself.
that's good. the difference between that and what i'm talking about is that your using ai the your supposed to use it. as a helping tool. but most people that use ai art, are normally just doing it for making fake art and then claiming that that makes them an artist.
I wanna be in show buis. youtuber, or a cartoonist, or a voice acter, or multiple of them. only problem is now i have the looming fear of ai either replacing me or at least people using my content and people giving it to ai, without my permission.
yea, I know, but that's because most of them are trying to ignore when ai makes good looking "art", because the fact ai can do that is horrifying. and their good "art" isn't even actually art anyway. because art is more then when a picture is just pretty. its something good that someone put love, soul, and even the slightest bit of effort into making. something that ai cant do.

1. AI requires a dataset: TRUE! Well technically it doesn't NEED a dataset (you have have evolution models) that would be impractical for art
2. it doesn't practice or learn: false, its called learning rate for a reason, AI learns what a field is from seeing thousands of fields, if you ask for a field with a red cow on it even though it doesn't have any fields with red cows in the dataset it gets the concept of a field to make it a background
3. it plays connect the dots: eh I mean depends what you mean, it doesn't not copy and paste or anything

Art is subjective. Anything can be art. Therefore, all art is real art. And the only artists who are afraid they're gonna get replaced are the small artists. But everyone knows AI isnt hurting anything.

1. there were strikes from real artists, and animaters, and actors, just not to long ago, and they striked because they didn't want to get replaced with ai, so no, big artists are scared of it too.

My point is ai isnt the litteral devil like everyone says it is. My point is AI isn't coming for you. What im saying is leave people who use ai alone. Dont try and insult them just because they use ai. Nobody uses ai to make a profit. They use it for fun. It isnt a super competitive space like physical art is. I havent seen one ai user harass a 'real' artist. On the other hand, ive seen SEVERAL examples of people getting harassed just for using a program. Belive it or not, people with the same mindset as you are in the wrong.

I don't want to post my art anymore because I don't want ai-dudes to be able to steal it. Like, art theft was already bad enough before ai showed up..
