I’ve narrowed it’s one of two possibilities.
1) that tooth at one time ate a mushroom to make it big and strong. However, it took damage and has shrunken down.
2) that tooth had not mastered Gear 3 yet and it has shrunken down as a side effect. Possibly for a very very long time or forever depending on how long it stayed in Gear 3.
OP either needs to eat another mushroom, wait for side effects to wear off, or visit a dentist to unshrink their tooth.
Thought it was obvious. That little nub of a tooth normally has a crown on it that makes it match the rest of my teeth. But the fact that you couldn’t tell actually makes me feel better
I recently had a root canal and got my first crown. In learning about the process and how they grind a tooth down to be smaller for fitting a crown over it then makes this image obvious that the smaller tooth once had a crown on it but it fell off. Both of my parents have had crowns fall off, so it wasn't an unfamiliar concept in that way, either.
My front teeth broke and look extremely similar to this. I have no crowns and had no idea what OP was pointing out in there post. Her teeth look like mine do everyday.

That’s why I also said sometimes they just break or fall off. I’ve popped one off flossing. OP hasn’t answered so I was suggesting it might not be a dramatic thing. The temporary ones are notoriously bad about not taking much effort to lose.

This happened to me before on a Friday night. I called my dentist she had me use a dab of the glue for dentures on it till she could see me the following week and recement it. It worked great.
You can get temp cement at the dollar store and put your crown back on for the weekend with that. Call your dentist on Monday and they can get it back in with permanent cement if it’s intact.
if you got a root canal, then the tooth would have no nerve, so most likely no pain. if it’s a veneer, probably some pain as they use the healthy tooth base to enhance the smile, and it can be very sensitive.. broke my two front veneers at a friends house last weekend and scared the shit out of her when i gasped from the shock of it happening and one fell to the floor… hilarious and terrifying 😂

Indeed. I even tell my patients that the chances of a tooth breaking/crown falling out/abscess forming increase exponentially as you get closer to an airport, wedding, or weekend.
Dentist here - you can buy tooth cement/glue from many pharmacies and glue your crown back on. It won’t last long but with careful eating you can keep your plans! Hope you’re not in pain.

I bought “old people” denture glue for this reason. When covid hit and all dentists were closed, and I was frankly too scared to look for one, my front veneer fell out. It was also the same time I started seeing someone 😅
Mine crown come off again today as well. Cant believe on the same day this happens to how many. Mine was from a BLT on rye. Guess the bacon was well done. Sheesh. Glad I got an appt on the 7th.
This is why I only eat steak on Mondays, never eat nuts or jerky nor apples come to think of it. 🤔 as someone born with nothing other than to be a genetic gift to dentist, I don’t dare eat anything other than bread and soups!!

Basically dentist's just started pulling and one got infected and spread without knowing until they cracked and broke. Now it's just a matter of time until I get dentures. Hasn't stopped me from living life. Very few people actually care how your teeth are as long as your breath doesn't smell and you're going to be taking care of it.
It's going to take me a out $20k to do all the work and they want that to be guaranteed payment at the end of surgery. Insurance won't cover it as surgery just as single tooth pulling. And I'd much rather go to sleep and wake up with gums and an orthodontist appointment.

My tooth was too small for them to make a proper crown. So they had to make it bigger and grind down the tooth above it so it would fit in my mouth.
The rest aren’t even exactly where they are supposed to be. I was wondering what it was what looking at.
