I'm starting a collection as well and I'm unsure of what to do with all of them. I don't want them just to sit on hanger in a closet somewhere, but of course I can't wear them all at the same time. Has anyone else found a fun way to display their kits?

nyquiljordan

That’s a good question. I think they have kit frames that let you hang them on the wall. In the U.K. kits are a part of the streetwear seen, so you would wear them. Arsenal have a great third kit btw — Williamson might be next on my list. Dabritz at OL too.

I wear all my kits. I just rotate through them and wear them for running, biking, or working out.

\*Just going to reply to both of you here for ease\* It's not the most common where I am especially for the teams I enjoy, but I love wearing my kits regardless. My issue is some of my teams play each other so I can't wear them both simultaneously. I also have some limited edition ones I would like to keep in nice condition for special occasions but not locked away forever. So flexible display options would be nice to rotate what is worn and what is shown.

Also trying to start and also having similar difficulties. That and I currently refuse to pay money for anything made by Castore (ruling out the McCabe Ireland jersey I'd really like to try to get). Depending on how much money you're willing to spend, but also in a way that would really help smaller teams grow - I'm considering doing a player sponsorship for a player from a smaller English team or two, and some of them will send you the player's jersey signed at the end of the season (at least of the ones I've looked up). If I end up doing that I'll try to remember to report back on how it went.

nyquiljordan

That is the coolest thing I’ve heard. I’d totally sponsor a player! What’s “Castore”?

gatelegtable

Castore is a brand, they currently make Ireland's national team jerseys along with many other teams (Aston Villa is another one I can think of off the top of my head, as well as doing merch for McLaren's F1 team). The quality is, from everywhere I've heard, awful. I've seen a lot of pictures of McLaren merch falling apart after one wash. As far as player sponsorship, I saw Doncaster Belles have a whole season option for I believe £295 per player, and then I think some Australian clubs do it. It's a lot more expensive than just a jersey but it goes a lot farther I imagine.

I don't have a collection per se but I have a number of women's kits (in men's sizes). I tend to buy them from official sources online (US Soccer, team websites, Fanatics) or in person (team shop, Nike store in Sydney where you could get personalization). I haven't tried Foudys yet due to shipping costs but seems like it could be a good option. Several of these are souvenirs from the teams I saw at WWC 2023. * 2023 USWNT home (white w/ splotches) Ertz * 2023 USWNT away (blue) Smith * 2023 England away (light blue) Bright * 2023 Matildas away (teal) Raso * 2023 New Zealand home Riley * 2022 Angel City home Riley * 2022 Angel City away Endo * 2021 Chicago Red Stars home Ertz * 2019 USWNT white Ertz * Various Chelsea jerseys without names that could pass for the men's or women's teams

I do. I love collecting jerseys and since I watched WOSO, I have bought some. Since I live in Australia right now, most of my WOSO jersey collection are A-League Women: * Matildas Home and Away shirts * Perth Glory Home shirts for 21-22, 22-23, 23-24 * Melbourne Victory 22-23 Pride Round Matchworn shirt and 23-24 Pride Round Warm-Up Matchworn shirt * Western Sydney Wanderers 23-24 Home shirts, one is Matchworn and one is not * Central Coast Mariners 23-24 Away shirt * Adelaide United 23-24 Pride Round Matchworn shirt For European Team: * 23-24 Benfica Women Home Matchworn shirt * 23-24 AC Milan Women PLEASURES Matchworn shirt * 23-24 PSF Women Home Matchworn shirt * 23-24 Real Madrid Home shirt * 23-24 Arsenal Home shirt * 23-24 Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. Home shirt * 23-24 Manchester City Dragon Year Special Edition * WWC Lionesses Home shirt Damn, I don't realize I buy so many just in a season... I need to control myself...

HokieOATH

Which Adelaide United player did you get? I got a few last year for their pride round game, but forgot to bid this season!

LazyEntertainment646

Zoe Tolland

HokieOATH

Good choice! I got Katie Bowler, Chelsie Dawber, and Meisha Westland last year!

LazyEntertainment646

Wow, you must be a big fan of AU!

HokieOATH

I’ve kept up with the men’s team since about 2011 and started following the women’s team a little after that! These last few years I’ve followed them a lot more closely though!

Foudys, club sites, local stores (usually really fun to be surrounded by merch of just one club, also great to try them on before buying), unisport sometimes sells with original print, via friends that live close to where the club is located and second hand. It is essential to know differences between the men’s kit and the women’s kit though, like for the Netherlands the men’s kit features a lion whilst the women’s kit features a lioness, USWNT has more stars then their male counterpart, same goes for Wolfsburg, Barcelona uses a different font for their women’s team, Ajax has a different sponsor and the WSL as a whole use a different font then the prem. The only ones I’ve really seen in the wild is someone with I believe it was Russo or Miedema using prem font, Alexia using the men’s font and a men’s Netherlands kit with Martens. Also as another comment said I avoid Castore for the same reasons and the Aston Villa kit drama in the beginning of the season, I’m actually searching for an old Umbro Ireland jersey with McCabe on the back or another WNT player. Furthermore I also avoid fanatics as a whole due to bad experience ordering F1 merch. I only really have one jersey atm which is my Arsenal 3rd kit with Pelova on the back in WSL font and my main experience is with training gear but I have ordered shirts in the past that I’ve sold to other people and getting kits from relatively unknown teams. My main advice is do a lot of searching and research what the differences are between the men’s kit and the women’s kit.

New_Yorky

I do have to admit that I have planned trips around getting a jersey from a specific team, honestly the best way to do it as you get to experience the culture and the home of the team

snowball2oo

I collected for many years but have slowed down due to not wearing them enough and closet space. Now I only buy it if I like the style and I will wear it. When I first started, I would purchase on eBay and thrift shops. In terms of getting mens sizes for women's teams, I'd check the teams websites for that. I mostly have national team jerseys from USA, Jamaica, Italy, Belgium, Ireland and club team jerseys from several NWSL teams, my local MLS team and my favorite EPL team. I wear the national team jerseys out and work out in them, but because the club team jerseys have a large sponsored logo on the front I don't wear those out much because people ask me about the logo and think I work for that company lol, they don't recognize that it's a soccer jersey.

nxneteen

Ive worked for MatchWornShirt before, they sell jerseys and even frame them for you if you like, mostly they’re signed as well. For certain jerseys the bids go pretty high tho

Practical_Teacher_98

I have a small one. I’d say it at about a dozen or so. Same with the men.
