I love that there's this subset of fan who love a super muscular Wonder Woman, despite the fact that it isn't really supported by the comics. It's not my vision of the character but it's certainly a valid one
AmĀ·aĀ·zoĀ·niĀ·an
adjective
(of a woman) tall and strong or athletic.
"Amazonian supermodels"
But that's just the dictionary, it's woke now.
Apparently someone needs the definition of sarcasm.
You're telling me the character that is from a race of warriors that was made by the Gods, who viewed muscularity as a symbol of strength and power, would be muscular?

I like this version better. Still kicking ass
I love a muscley Diana as much as the next person but the Arnold glam-bodybuilding poses are a bit tacky. I'm sure if you had Bruce doing this stuff in fan art, Batman fans would have collectively raised eyebrows. I can't help but think of what Yelena said in Black Widow
"They're good poses but it does give the impression that you think everyone's looking at you."
"I'm not a poser"
"You're a total poser hahaa"

Give me one of these instead any day of the week. She looks like she's about to fight Bobby Lashley at Wrestlemania and that really works for her aesthetic imo
Not only has Wonder Woman been portrayed with that conventionally attractive body type for decades, but every other female superhero has too. If you want a female superhero with that body type, take your pick. Let some more unique body types be represented in comics for a change.
Skin tone is beautiful! A woman (certainly NOT an Amazon!) doesnāt have to be built like a man to have strengthā¦youāre not celebrating womanhood with that lookā¦youāre tearing it down. One of the Best things about Diana is that she doesnāt have to look like Thor to match his strengthā¦she can retain her femininity & grace & still be super strong and onlookers may wonder how she can have the beauty of Aphrodite & stenght of Hercules and thatās Wonderful.
Thick arms?!! She has the shelf of hulk here. Sheās been super strong for ALL this time without itā¦sheās had the physique of a woman & thatās been fine for decades.
The man superheroes all get to have cheese grater abs, even those that never fight physically, whatās wrong with fanart giving her a similar treatment?
>you're not celebrating womanhood with that look
True
> ... you're tearing it down
Not true. You're doing neither of those things, rather you're just showcasing one of the many, many physiques and bodies women happen to have. Doesn't make a lot of sense to have a strong reaction to that simple fact or depiction choice.
well Wonder Woman comes from a place that is most beaches and spend most of her time doing physical activities in the sun, her being buff with a tan makes perfect sense
š and people hate on Wonder Woman. She's my beautiful wife
She's my wife actually
Wrong - sheās not your wife, or my wife or anyone elseāsā¦ Sheās *our* wife!
Mine 90% and yalls 10%
This isn't Red Son.
Ik, but she's canonically bi
This is the kind of WW I love to see.

That's Mike Tyson
That's a woman with muscles. Grow up.

I'm gonna lose my mind if I see a "she looks like a man" comment, she's perfect and gorgeous to me
You're telling me the character that is from a race of warriors that was made by the Gods, who viewed muscularity as a symbol of strength and power, would be muscular?
If it wasn't clear lol I love muscular wonder woman
Damn right, she is.
Shout out to the Wonder Braid
š
Love buff wondie ā”
Like I said in the original post: "This is Rocksteady's Wonder Woman, but with a better costume."
I wish this would happen.
Buff and tanned Wonder Woman is peak fr
Some artists go pretty overboard with making her muscular, but this one is perfect
Omg il this art style sm! š³
Not a fan of this WWF version
That crazy
My opinion.
I know im just saying

I like her design too not the movie but love her in it

Simple. Thatās because if Batman posed like this it would be cringe, but Diana posing like this is pog.

It's not the body type mate... it's the pose. This one seems a bit more "candid" if you will
Ahhhh shit. I misunderstood you. My bad.
This is steroid-free feminine mystique/power.
Not a big fan of chonky WW
Not the biggest fan of jacked WW but well drawn, good job and I like the braid.
Hell fucking yeah
Hot
Mah lawd...
The body doesn't bother me but that attire doesn't fit for me. I dunno. Maybe it's the way the top part on her chest looks like to me.
Totally going to vector this.
Doing this, what's left to be done with Big Barda?
Serena Williams is still the best live action Wonder Woman.
I don't like it when she's too muscular. It reminds me of that scene in Top Secret
Doesnāt really look like any version of Diana Iāve seen. A bit too dark skinned. Kinda like her sister that took over for her that one time.
i thought she had a third legā¦
Did doctor psycho draw this as a way to insult Diana?
why'd he insult?
Because it looks bad
What do you think muscles on women is a bad thing? Are you a mysogonist or some crap?
It doesn't look bad tbh it looks really beautiful. I won't downvote cz u had enough of thoseš
Definitely not an insulting drawing.
Hideousā¦š¤®š¤®š¤®
Why do you think so?
Likely because of her muscles and her skin tone
Skin tone is beautiful! A woman (certainly NOT an Amazon!) doesnāt have to be built like a man to have strengthā¦youāre not celebrating womanhood with that lookā¦youāre tearing it down. Muscles arenāt inherently masculine. Iāll agree that some depictions really overdo how buff she is, but thick arms hardly make her less feminine
Sheās not here to be treated like themā¦sheās NOT them. She is Unique. She is a Wonder.
Oh, I was half right. Anyway, the other commenters basically said what I would have said
>you're not celebrating womanhood with that look True > ... you're tearing it down Not true. You're doing neither of those things, rather you're just showcasing one of the many, many physiques and bodies women happen to have. Doesn't make a lot of sense to have a strong reaction to that simple fact or depiction choice.
Least misogynist DC fan
How is it misogynistic, like what about that comment says āI hate womenā?
As much as I like Lean and Muscular Wondy this skin tone looks way too dark for my liking
I honestly donāt know how to take that
Least racist Celtics fan
