It’s achievable if you have the time to invest at specific intervals of the day. The key is to take the time on Monday to play through most of the early levels, but leave one of the first five….the free ones…at a win with less of two stars. Personally I prefer the third one because it’s an easier board to score on. From then on whenever you lose a game go back and play four against that free game…winning without getting three stars…to get your win streak bonus back. That gives you an advantage in the first few plays against the harder opponents.
I try to win all the levels and then go back and pick up the two star games finishing with the free one. There’s probably a better strategy out there, but that’s the way I do it.
Edit: I can’t prove that the WWF developers monitor this channel, but the week after I posted this comment the third level board went away and I draw 75% vowels in every match.
That's the exact strategy I use ....doing as many as possible Monday but leaving one with 2 stars to rebuild my streak. It's towards the weekend that I have problems. With work I can't constantly focus on the game to maximize earned tickets.
I like the way the did it a couple weeks ago with games costing less tickets. It was still challenging but I didn't feel like I had to commit my whole day to it.
Understood. It’s definitely set up to make you invest time or, preferably, actual money to complete everything. I do believe that the game itself sabotages you if you start to finish everything early. I did have one week where I was able to finish on a Thursday but it was a week where I had a family member in the hospital and nothing but time on my hands.
I've said it here before, but since it's just against the computer, I use the solo challenge as my time to pull out all the stops and cheat freely. Use all the powerups I want, pay coins to play an extra move when behind at the end, use online anagrammers when I'm stuck, etc. Usually I shoot for 3-starring everything on the first shot so I can just get it done by Wednesday of each week.
Interesting...I use online word finders freely with Solo Challenge, but I almost never use powerups. IMO, the rewards at the end of the game were not worth the amount spent on a single powerup. The rewards are more generous with 75 stars, but I would rather use my powerups in a game with actual humans (where they'd actually be beneficial) than waste them on Zynga's bots.
Yeah for sure it's a net loss even if you consider the bigger prizes you get at the end, but I have a metric fuckton of coins stockpiled so for me it's worth it just to never have to replay a game if I don't have to.
Right now my overall goal is just to max out every achievement possible, I'm at level 33 so a ton of them are off the board already. Two of the most annoying remaining ones are that hideous 1000-badge final level of Badge Case Closed, and the 45k coins I need to max out Bling It On. Maxing out solo every week is the quickest way to finish both of those.
I gotten 75 stars a couple times but you’re right that it’s not worth the effort. What upset me the most is that it would come up with the most ridiculous words and then give you terrible tiles. So many times it would play a 7 letter word I never knew existed and then my tiles: AAOIIAO
Last week I went all in. Checked back constantly to use my tickets. Watched insufferable ads to re-up. Achieved 75 stars. And then it glitched when I was supposed to receive my rewards. 🤬
What a waste of time!
I think they want you to constantly check the app to play the moment you get 30 tickets back, or spend coins to either replenish your tickets or gain power ups (such as the ones that let you swap tiles for free or the ones that increase the point value of your tiles).
