i think they're asking how do you switch to perform them. intro and outro skills only happen in singleplayer on switch in/out, so the activation has to be different for multiplayer. unless you're just allowed multiple characters

You press the other player's character avatar when your concerto energy is full, then your own character performs their intro skill just like in single player But the only difference is that you don't switch characters

So outro skill that usually a buff to the next character will activated on yourself?

From experience, once you press your friends characters, that character's outro skill activates and your currently controlled character Intro skill activates. So for example if your friend had Spectro-Rover and you were Encore, you would do the Encore down slam and enemies around you would be slowed down by Spectro-Rovers outro. Regarding things like Verina, Baizhi or Yinlin i have not tested it but they have a line "or other characters on a nearby team that activates an outro skill" if this applies to the allies or you or both i would need to try, but i assume the ally only. Also an important thing to note, in co-op you dont get the slowdown on enemies from things like the perfect dodge, or at least that wasn't the case last week when we tried it with a friend. Kinda important thing to know when the lvl 120 bear starts his five hit combo you planned to get free hits in on him with counters.

i had something similar happen with the Permanence Heron Difficulty 2 Boss. something happened and my Mortefi got banished to the shadow realm when i swapped to him the boss deaggroed and his health bar went away and then i just beat him to death with my other two units.

Spearback king is easy too, you just hide behind the root of the tree behind him and just basic with verina. Not sure if it works with other ranged characters.
