It's a product that encapsulates dirt and is a lubricant. Because of these two properties it 1) doesn't scratch your vehicle 2) when you rinse the sponge in the bucket the dirt stays in the bucket)especially if you use a grit guard)

Also use a leaf blower, compressed air or lightly use a quality waffle weave microfiber for a drying towel, you want to place the towel over the wet spot and just kinda dab it and absorb. You basically don’t want to introduce dirt, very small rock chips or anything that can a scratch the paint and this can happen very easily while being hard to notice at first. You can never be perfect but just keeping these things in mind will help preserve the paint.
This, black it looks good, but maybe cause it hides or makes the front meaner. Im not a fan of the front end design in general, 10th gen is much better.
Got the Honda Civic 2023 Black on Black. I just wipe it. Black are hard to maintain. I don’t want my car to drive dirty. I just spray it with water then wipe the whole body. When all are done and dry, I spay the whole body again with Gloss it. Then I wipe till it’s shine asf. [instagram.com/czarrichie](https://instagram.com/czarrichie)
Are we all on the same boat that black is the best color for this car? Personally, I think it's because the grill for this 11th of generation just doesn't look very appealing. The black also blends in with the updated tail lights that are also kind of blacked out
Mine is on order. Can't wait. Trading in my 2021 (seen here: [https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/6099895212696590](https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/6099895212696590)).
My big question is the front H emblem. I bet it would look cool WITHOUT it entirely.
The Honda Sensing equipment is tucked into it or integrated into it. I think you can buy a black version but install is more complicated - and i don't trust myself with it. 🙃
I’d say it is comparable to or better than my Acura RL from 2010ish. I think 19inch wheels add some noise. But I believe it is a significant improvement from 10thG.
only buy a black car if:
1) you GENUINELY dont care how dirty/scratched its going to get instantly
2) youre keeping it in the garage, and never driving it.
3) youre filthy rich!
otherwise its gonna be a lot of heartache...
2600 miles and 45.3mpg. Probably a 50/50 mix of highway and city miles. No long distance trips yet. Longest one way drive I’ve done is about 40 miles. I’m doing 100ish mile 90% highway trip this upcoming week.
Learn the 2 bucket method and avoid automatic car washes
This. My first black car was a 2022 accord. Messed up the paint pretty quickly not knowing how to properly take care of a black paint job.
Any other tips to avoid?
Get ppf. Black cars get dirty quick, washing the car will become easier and it will protect the paint.
This is the way
Or one bucket method with optimum no rinse. Works great.
Please explain…

Thanks for that
A7 is that u?
it looks like a taurus! no it looks like an a7! no, it looks like a jetta
its called a ford accord...

Agree. It’s kind of maddening how easily spring pollen and dust shows on it.

Thanks. Yes, the red that they rolled out for all the reviewers and press did not do it any favors.
This, black it looks good, but maybe cause it hides or makes the front meaner. Im not a fan of the front end design in general, 10th gen is much better.
If a design has to depend on color and trim ,then it’s not a good design. But yeah i agree, I think it looks best in black
Okay it’s growing on me
Just bought this exact one. Excited to pick it up Monday.
How much did you pay?
I would do ceramic coating and PPF to help you with keeping it clean. Hope you have garage to park it in as well.
This is the only time ive found the new generation attractive, its growing on me.

Black on Black is super clean with this Gen. I finally saw one in the wild and man…. It looks wicked at night. Its definitely growing on me.
Have you driven any of the older Accords? how does it compare?
My brother in law had a 10th Gen EX-L. The ride in my 2023 quieter and the interior including the UX of the tech is a big improvement.
Best spec for 23
Thanks!
Looks pretty clean. The only thing that seems out of place is the thin silver line that runs through the whole side of the car.
Great eyes. If you can believe it - that pinstripe was part of the dealer installed accessories. It’s on my list of things to delete.
Idk how I feel about the back but otherwise looks clean
Looks clean I was considering a 23 Sport, it's a decent value for a new car if you can avoid markups and get BSM

Clean
Thank you.
The way you hit those angles makes this car look dope as hell
Thanks!
How much road noise would you say it has compared to your previous cars?
I’d say it is comparable to or better than my Acura RL from 2010ish. I think 19inch wheels add some noise. But I believe it is a significant improvement from 10thG.
Now that I look it kinda resembles a mustang front, I always thought my civic resembled and audi front, hmm
The geezer car
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The L is for L
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Looks like my grandpa or grandma would love it, lame design dawggy.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
2022 2.0 T owner here this new accord just isn't growing on me at all.
I bet a lot of people will think your a cop when you get behind them
Feature not a flaw. 😂
Yeah the only annoying part is they slow down and won’t go over the speed limit, this coming from a Black 2016 Accord driver
I’m considering getting a Sport-L. I’ve heard some negative feedback on the sound system. How are the speakers in that car in your opinion?
They are good; but I am also not an audiophile who could tell you why they are or aren’t good. If that makes sense?
Yeah makes sense. What I’m hearing is that they’re good for the general consumer. Thanks!
Ah black. The swirl magnet.

The ONLY color for the 11th gen Accord. She's a beauty!
Thank you.
What’s your mpg so far? Any long distant trips yet?

200 miles round trip - 90% Highway driving - speeds 80-85mph, exterior temps of about 90 - I averaged 45.6 MPG. I used Econ about half the time.
Glad to hear it. Sounds like my 2018 Accord before it got totaled. Thanks for the update.
Hi where did you get your OEM black badges ? Thanks
