This is exactly why I was looking for this recording! I’d heard the song before but I’m not as much of a big thief fan as I am of Lenker’s solo stuff, so I never even considered how expansive and immersively she could play this one while solo. It was the first time I’d seen her live at all, and I loved her energy and the way the crowd returned it. Such a special show.
