Wow... what a nice job!! The light weathering looks awesome.
I'm afraid it requires a lot of practice but, do you have any tips (or YT tutorials) for that weathering? It kinda looks like dry brush! I specially love the edges on the legs.
To be honest it was my 3rd time weathering my gunpla. I played gunpla for decades but just taken up the skill recently. I watched numerous YT vids on weathering gunpla (mostly japanese ones) and chose what I liked and felt comfortable with. IMO to do a good weathering project, I have to use a lot of different techniques and colours to give it depth and authenticity. Have to always control the amplitude coz a newbie is always tempted to weather every edge and corner and make it overdone, which I committed a lot of times.
One day, when I finish my backlogs, I will buy this kit. Also when I become rich haha. It's a really unique MS in MG scale. They don't look like they will print some doven wolf MG kits anytime soon anyway. Nice job OP! Sorry for the rant.
Light weathering is truly best weathering
Wow!
What a beauty! The weathering looks amazing. Thanks for showing it!
This is one the most convincing weathering jobs I’ve seen. Just the right amount, really gives it a sense of realism. Great work! Awesome kit too.
Mk-V Gundam = Neuron Activation
Holy mother of... that's it, I'm retiring from Gunpla. Good work.
