It is a hanging butterfly pupa (crystalis) similar to this one.
Nah, I just saw the original video on internet archives last night, saved it, went back on today to show my gf, it is no longer saved. It was a full video, the recorder even zoomed out and it went to the right in the sky. I think it spun both directions in the extended video.
Modern image stabilization is pretty good, especially when tracking a singular object in an otherwise empty sky. What it usually comes down to with these things is purposeful obfuscation.
I can confirm modern image stabilization is pretty good and camera shaking is used to purposefully obfuscate bad CGI. Now it's 2 vs. 1 so unless you're a communist you have to believe us.
Well I gotta believe you if I'm a communist too right? Lol isn't that everyone agreeing on stuff?
I believe it's possible to track objects in the sky accurately with smart phones
Dude I sell phones for a living and let me tell you that not everyone has the nicest phone with the best tracking and stabilizer. Most people I encounter on a daily basis have these entry level to mid range phones that have a terrible camera. They might have huge megapixels but the features you’re describing just aren’t there. Just thought I’d put in my two cents regarding cell phone footage.
Could you find me an example of a chrysalis that looks like this? I think it’s the most likely explanation however I’ve been unable to find any with a clear window on one side like this. All clear chrysalises I’ve found are monarch and look nothing like this.
I’m trying to find it in an older post since this has been posted a million times. It was the top comment of that post. I think it was a from moth not a butterfly. It looked strikingly similar.
I personally love this video, but have to ask how the person filming even saw this thing? When the shot zooms out it just disappears into pixels of nothingness.
For the same reason biblical miracles stopped happening as soon as the camera was invented.
Just like biblical miracles, the people creating these vids need their audience to have as little physical evidence as possible in order for the scam to work.
I'm not discounting alien life (I very much believe that humans have been influenced by extraterrestrials throughout history), but for every 1 potentially legitimate video, there's 500 fakes being made by charlatans who are simply riding the bandwagon.
Unfortunately, humans are dumber than dirt for the most part, so as long as they're getting their dopamine hit while consuming UFO videos, that's the only thing that matters. As soon as you try to bring any kind of actual scientific rebuttal that puts a damper on the fun, those types of morons get all huffy and defensive.
In conclusion: UFO recordings are the way that they are because there's a demand for this kind of entertainment, so the supply has to come from somewhere.
How about this..test it yourself instead of nagging online.
Go outside, take out your smartphone and make me a clear, stable video of a PASSENGER AIRPLANE
Given how literally every video is blurry it plausible that they possess some sort of technology that can disrupt how our cameras work. Possibly even implanted in their bodies. Even more possible when you consider that these alien bodies are manufactured.
Idky ppl aren't getting there's a strong possibility they are far more advanced than we are & probably have cloaking or technology that makes them hard to capture wh basic azz cell phone tech. Maybe my imagination is just all over the place, but what u commented seems overly plausible.
Looks like a very unrealistic shading (like lambertian shading and phong shading from the early 2010s or before). But who knows what materials uaps use for their crafts.
The bright orange glints of light seen looks very much like the sun reflecting from a mylar type reflective surface. It could be a partially deflated gas filled novelty (balloon.)
Mylar reflects sunlight with a distinctive orange hue. An airliner or UFO with a metalic fuselage wouldn't do that. The object in the video is drifting in the wind like a balloon. It's probably a balloon.
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=metallic+chrysalis&t=ffab&iax=images&ia=images
It doesn't match any of these, but you might be surprised at nature's abilities.
Yeah, that is cool – very pretty! But we have to admit that none of these show any similarity, a part from being mildly crescent shaped and containing something.
Look at the lustre of the brown. No reflective edges light up. Not even dark brown chrysalises are so matte in reflection.
I don't care about it's status as debunked etc., all I care to say is that it is definitely not a chrysalis.
It's probably some CGI and/or VFX.
If it is real, there is no way for me know that (in terms of evidence: location, time, etc.). It being real or not makes no difference to me if there isn't more evidence.
It isn't a chrysalis and nobody has given a good reason for it being one – yet.
OPs account is super sus.
Everyone make sure to vet the accounts on people. There are so many 5 month old accounts in these subs, it's absolutely crazy.
I signed up recently to make a comment about a video game. A couple of weeks later I saw a post on here and replied to it as well, as I had seen something similar. Not everybody wants their identity tied to these kinds of discussions.
How does someone's account being less than 4 months old matter one way or the other, especially when they aren't the ones who even originally recorded the footage? I can't even tell if you're a denier or someone who instantly believes everything, you're just making a really dumb argument
I’m schizo & these folks make me look sane. People being interested in the topic within the last 5 months have apparently no reason to be here other than being planted 🤯
Not everyone uses reddit, it's a pretty shit website. Makes no sense that the bar of entry should be "long time redditor". Let's just all laugh at that guy
Lmao, eat me. Your head is in the sand if you dont think there is a mass disinformation campaign, there have been data scientists on here and have shown proof, and it's general common sense..... oh, wait...
Fuck off with your presumptions and your condesending remarks, have fun being an Ostrich :)
Just looking out for you
I'm from Spain... it's one of the best videos of the last few years, is not from any movie.
In my country we have a saying: líes have very short legs..
Nobody says in which of the films, or in what minute... in the 2001 one i'm sure It doesn't apear.
Military constructs drones looking like UFOs to spy above enemy territory to be able to blame Aliens because else the would cause a conflict by flying above enemy territory 🤷🏼♂️
And it works, many think it is not human buildt 😁
Looks very much so like CGI the lighting reflection, the rotation looks cheaply animated. Just all around looks like a cheap blender mock-up by some beginner. Not to mention how smooth the texture is
Was not disappointed. Fuzzy, blurry out of focus flying rubber chicken toy https://sc01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1Gx0oXizxK1RjSspj763S.pXaE/233005841/HTB1Gx0oXizxK1RjSspj763S.pXaE.png
We will never get disclosure. There’s far too many closed minded debunkers. Nothing but laughably bad “debunks” in this thread that all get upvoted to the top, and people take them as a fact and continue to believe the phenomenon is not real.
I am a UFO believer and just waiting on the simplest true piece of evidence to say I told you so.
However, if aliens were so advanced to have these objects flying around, my guess is that they wouldn’t contain life in them.

alright, who has the stabilized version??
https://reddit.com/r/UFOs/s/89xvduoTLX
The Lord’s work
Yes but which Lord?
The overlord in the video.
Ok now I see him.
So the video is from 2015?
Looks like something hanging from a helicopter. Spinning on a string.

Why when I try to open it— it just takes me to r/ufos and not the particular post?
show us what you got
It looks like a giant ear

*"Here we are done, Good bye"*
Get Schwifty!
TELL US WHAT YOU GOT! that better?
time to get schwifty!
This was my first thought!
God dammit I should have scrolled down before I decided to make the exact same joke a day too late
Stop
Hahahahahahhaaha
Underated comment
If this is a very clear video, I wouldnt' want to see a blurry one
It's only "clear" when the camera stops. And it doesn't stop long enough before it bounces around for the rest of the video
Hard to keep a camera still that zoomed in. Even your pulse can shake it.
Modern image stabilization is pretty good, especially when tracking a singular object in an otherwise empty sky. What it usually comes down to with these things is purposeful obfuscation.
I saw a post earlier saying it's impossible for people to track objects in the sky with smart phones. Which is it.
Idk do you just believe anything you see or read?
What are you even... out here with a black eye, no teeth and a "fight me" sign.
The imagery got a laugh outta me
Never said I did. You are the only one who claims to know anything here traveler Hahahaha
I can confirm modern image stabilization is pretty good and camera shaking is used to purposefully obfuscate bad CGI. Now it's 2 vs. 1 so unless you're a communist you have to believe us.

This is absolutely how it looked on any zoomed video *I* took in 2015.
Likewise if this is the "exciting" one I dread to think what the dull version is like
I believe the video itself is real, but the location of this thing is very convoluted. First it’s somewhere in the US, then it’s Mexico, now it Spain.
Yes the video is actually real. It's really a video!
And it might even be a UFO. But contrary to popular belief, the U in UFO doesn't stand for Alien.
Almost as if its a copypasta fake CGI video.
Love that you’re getting downvoted, it warms my heart
Yea it’s real, it’s real footage of a chrysalis you chode…
Could you find me an example of a chrysalis that looks like this? I think it’s the most likely explanation however I’ve been unable to find any with a clear window on one side like this. All clear chrysalises I’ve found are monarch and look nothing like this.
Debunkers will just claim it’s anything vaguely a similar shape so they can sound smart.
No your right you are the one sounding smart telling me it’s an extra terrestrial visitor.
I’m trying to find it in an older post since this has been posted a million times. It was the top comment of that post. I think it was a from moth not a butterfly. It looked strikingly similar.
You’re not gonna find shit cause you’re wrong
Are you gonna link the smoking gun proving that this is an alien craft?
Don’t know why but your comment made me choke laugh.
![gif](giphy|3XCEXu2dB4MG4)
Bruh lol
This account looks like a karma bot
Yea this shit is old as fuck anyway.
It’s the monopod. It’s everywhere.
What it do baby boo
Is a foil balloon. They're everywhere.
I really think you are wrong.
I personally love this video, but have to ask how the person filming even saw this thing? When the shot zooms out it just disappears into pixels of nothingness.
"Very clear video" and then there is 16 pixels of potato shaking all over the screen How come every UFO recording is like that?
Because these things are usually miles away and our zoom technology isn't up to par
Because if it wasn’t like that, they wouldn’t be UFOs as they would have been identified lol

Or it's simply because throwing a smartphone camera on 8x zoom will make it blurry as hell.
Idky ppl aren't getting there's a strong possibility they are far more advanced than we are & probably have cloaking or technology that makes them hard to capture wh basic azz cell phone tech. Maybe my imagination is just all over the place, but what u commented seems overly plausible.
Copium
This one is truly strange
Looks like a very unrealistic shading (like lambertian shading and phong shading from the early 2010s or before). But who knows what materials uaps use for their crafts.
Probably silk…
You and I have very different meanings for "very clear"
I think he's lost

show me the bug you think it is

Lmfaoooo delusional… you want to be in the know sooo bad!!! It’s a fucking chrysalis and this has been debunked so many times…
Lol stop being a booty nugget, trying very hard to debunk, you’re failing

Well it may be CGI but I find it pretty funny that you would rather believe it’s a fucking alien than just a weird mutated anomaly or a camera trick.
Bugs don’t have a windshield
![gif](giphy|DFu7j1d1AQbaE)
Saying it is a bug on a web is absurd. It is probably CGI. It could be real too, but I would likely never know.
Yes that’s absurd but saying it’s an inter galactic visitor makes a lot more sense…
looks like Bridge Baby from Death Stranding videogame
metapod ufo / la bruja .. pretty familliar footage in these circles
Obviously a single Yeezy shoe dangling from wires
This crap is hilarious

Great footage of a chrysalis lol…
Like [this](https://wannabeentomologist.wordpress.com/2016/03/09/common-crow-butterfly-chrysalis/) particular one too
And the constant spinning. Vomit comet for sure
I see the Metapod UFO, I upvote. Simple as that. Still haven’t seen any CGI experts weigh in…
The flame at :57 is really interesting, comes out from the internals.
Not flame. Sun reflection.

Oh no!! This is the first time i see this video. What a remarkable discovery
I remember this footage, some of the best I've seen
Great footage of a chrysalis up close
It's definitely not a bug
Why does this need to be reposted every couple weeks ?
Really stick of stupid robot Tick Tock voices in these videos

I was excited to see this, but all I got was a potato ballon shot on a Motorola Razer from 2005 :(
Hilarious
That’s literally a piece of a Mr Potato Head toy
Ehhh wasn't this confirmed as being a balloon?

Mr. Potato Head with a jetpack

It looks like a piece of nut hanging off a spiderweb.
Wasn't that an inflatable?
The way it looks suspended from wires, rotating in the same spot like they have no control over how it moves in the breeze is Classic.
Yes, I think it's absolutely incredible how they attached those wires to the upper atmosphere clouds like that.

Maybe there really is a place out there where magic exists!
Aliens are apparently too smart to show up in a place where there is a person with a good camera
How did they even see it
looks like the flying cromulon head from rick and morty lol
I love that it looks like it’s just going in circles like it’s having fun.
The fire makes me think it’s some sort of hot air balloon
this looks like shit.
The fact it’s spinning makes me think balloon
