I was scammed by a marketplace seller for nearly $600. The seller refuses to refund me and Amazon is incapable of issuing a refund themselves. They drew this problem out for so long now I can’t get refunded through my credit card company. I was an Amazon customer since 1998 but I’ve cancelled my prime membership, credit card, audible account, and will never use Amazon again in my life. My parents, sister, wife, and several friends have indicated they will do the same. It seems Amazon has shot themselves in the foot by neutering the ability of customer service to do anything. In the past I could always expect a refund if something went wrong. They just lost roughly $100,000 of annual revenue to save $600. Good riddance, Amazon.

I ordered a game on Sept 2nd with the big two for the price of one. Order got stuck in “Advanced Stages” (whatever that is) for over two weeks. As of Oct 11th I have only received one game. The other gave me an email saying there were supply chain issues. Customer support says I’ll get it within the month but tried to get me to cancel and reorder (there are other copies available on the site from third party sellers although they are shipped by Amazon). I can’t cancel without getting a back charge on the other game and they won’t do anything on their end about that it seems. I’m so frustrated!

Every time UPS is used for shipping my package gets delayed. It’s now 5 days late and Amazon keeps pushing back the date that I can cancel the order. Someone remind why I pay for Prime.

I bought PetSafe ScoopFree Smart Litter box and they sent me the wrong one! Not once but twice! So I said screw it, and bought the nonhooded one at the pet store and ordered just the hood on Amazon. Surely they can't screw that, right? WRONG! It just arrived, broken in 2 places! Oh my GAAAWWWDDDD! I'll try a replacement, but this is getting REALLY frustrating.

Apple airpods dropped by $10 literally 10 days after buying. Zero flex from.Amazon on price adjustment. Their recommendation to buy it again and then immediately return under the previous order. So dumb but ok.

Returns to China Recently I bought a couple clothing of items that didn’t fit. When I bought them, I was not aware they were coming from China. I’m unable to return them because they have to be returned to China with a shipping label I can print out, but shipping has to be paid by ME and it costs more to ship it back to China than what I paid for them. So I’m out the money. I ultimately donated them to a shelter. My concern is I’ve never seen a option in the app that lets you know if the item you want is coming from China or other overseas places like EBay does. I know sometimes it’s obvious an item is in China, and I avoid that, but these past couple of times it was quick shipping (within 5 days) and no flags that made me see it was coming from China. Am I missing something? It’s frustrating that I’m losing money because returns to China are impossible.

I got this weird letter in German from Amazon.de this morning, notifying that my account was closed due to too many refunds. I'm a long-time Amazon user and have never refunded anything in my life. I tried to appeal, and they replied that after a careful investigation they decided not to restore the account, without giving me any specific reason. I'm really baffled here. What the hell is going on, and what can I do about it?
