Anything beyond 48 hours is unreliable. The spaghetti models are all over the place and there’s still not consensus in them on what happens as it hits the gulf. A few show it turning before it would hit CUN.
Just got home from there at midnight last night. The weather was rough for most of our trip and the water was rough. They are in fact bracing for a hurricane and if I were you I would reschedule.
Thank you. The travel alert finally came through, now I get to fight with American Airlines because they’re saying I could bump the flight out a few days and be just fine.
There are no warnings or watches issued yet.
I will learn some stormy morning, What's a watch and what's a warning.
The weather channel has the path going slightly south of Cancun. Is this likely to be issued soon if the path stays current?

Weather delay -coming your way, airline not responsible for any costs…. If they gave you an option to rebook now, it could cost them a lot of money .
Is the storm actually forecast to hit CUN?
Yes… Saturday at 2
It's too early to tell. Hurricane tracks are only predictable maybe 2 days out.
