Google chrome has an extension called “sample” that i use for music production that may be useful if you are still using these a year later

What I do is screen record the TTS while the audio is playing and then isolate the audio from the video once I import it into the project I'm using it for.

Ohh that's a nice way to get them But what do you use to isolate the audio from the video ?

I ungroup the audio from the video and then remove the video track. If you don't have a software that seperates the video into tracks, you can use an online video to audio converter.

In case you all are still wondering, better Sam exists and it allows you to download the audio files.

Keep in mind certain voices were only used in certain time periods - some basic Googling should help you find period-accurate voices too.

text to speech did exist in the 80s-90s.

I'm not sure how others do it, but I screen-record the TTS preview and then I use the audio from the screen recording. This probably isn't possible for some movie making softwares, mainly ones on mobile devices, but I suppose you can use another website to convert the video to audio, or just put overlay in the video that covers the screen-recorded footage.
