A Sister's All You Need - The first 90 seconds are all you need.
KissXSis (OVA) - Boy finds twin sisters in bed with him. They make out with him while grinding his body and/or tugging his junk.
MILF Isekai - Might not be immediate, but the obvious sexualization of the mother plus her oddly sexual fascination with her son is apparent pretty early on.
Mother of the Goddess' Dormitory - Very first thing you see are tits. IN YOUR FACE.
Interspecies Reviewers - Show about people reviewing brothels.
Elfen Lied - Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe [this scene is from the first episode.](https://youtu.be/WAZXRyKXZQI?si=c5JGWL-_LoeYCxLD) (DEFINITELY NSFW) Nudity, EXCESSIVE violence and blood, and decapitated characters.
Goblin Slayer - This one is well known. Despite you not seeing them actually do the deed, it's pretty clear the girl is being raped.
It's not called MILF Isekai, but it's basically that. It's called **Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?** It's not worth watching. It's bad, and not bad in the sense of it being "so bad it's good", but in the sense that it's a total slog.
There is an entire arc in the middle where they spend time at a school of some sort and like nothing of note happens outside of a single scene where the mom is molested by tentacles (which is horribly censored). The entire first episode is spent on exposition as a character explains the world and it's magic systems to the boy and his mother.
It also incorporates the worst aspect of an OP hero. You know how in *One Punch Man*, Saitama is often away from the major conflicts for any number of reasons as the rest of the cast struggles to win and then Saitama comes in late and OHKs the big bad? Well, think of that, except the mother is already there and she just OHKs the enemies before anyone else has a chance to do anything. It's a total bore. What's worse, is that they know that they're doing that and it's an actual plot point, as the boy constantly complains that his mom gets in the way of leveling up because she just destroys everything in one hit. Even if it didn't have just abysmal censoring that blocks out half of the screen (there isn't even nudity in the show, mind you), it still wouldn't be worth watching.
I'm glad I'm not. The only one who felt like this series was suffering incarnate
Like, the first episode plays at tame, but watching it with your mom would be so excruciating because it's very clear that the entire series is about how the main character hates his mother
And then it turns into a giant fetish trap after that, with Mommy dearest not only enabling the fact that her son hates her for decent reasons (because she's overbearing, as much as she cares} but also the fact that at every moment possible she somehow gets herself into a scenario that ends up with her in a compromising position.
Your mom will not be impressed in episode 1, and she will get less impressed as time goes on.
I don't mind generic isekai with OP characters and fan service, and I've watched plenty, but it was one of the few shows that I've outright dropped. It's just got nothing going on for it at all. The entire thing just felt lazy and devoid of any serious effort to make something good.
I purposely watched the whole thing, just so I could know without a doubt that the show is not worth watching and will mention how bad it is any chance I get. The whole "I watched it so you don't have to" idea. There is very little redeeming qualities to the show. No interesting characters, no fun scenarios, even the fan service is bland outside of the tentacle scene. I think the OVA episode was the best episode of all of them just because there was no attempt to follow the main plot. It was just "let's stick the characters on the beach and put the mother under some spell that actually makes her legitimately fall in love with her son."
I watched one episode and could tell it was going to be the most boring generic isekai banking entirely on its one goofy premise (haha incest undertones am i right?) to carry it
>Elfen Lied - Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe [this scene is from the first episode.](https://youtu.be/WAZXRyKXZQI?si=c5JGWL-_LoeYCxLD) (DEFINITELY NSFW) Nudity, EXCESSIVE violence and blood, and decapitated characters.
Yes, it's from the first episode. Extreme violence throughout all the episodes actually 🤣
I watched Elfen Lied when I was 13 and was instantly hooked. It's the show that got me into anime.
BUT it's not for everyone, not my mum for sure. So great pick for this thread!
Same, but I was 18 at the time. The anime is just entertainment pure. Sure, the logic isn't always great, but man, the entertainment value is always there. 13 episodes of cute girls, tits, and violence. Everything a man can ask for, lol.
I love it, it's one of my favorites. I love gore, violence, girls, incest and whatever "edginess" you can throw in an anime. It's amusing and entertaining.
I've also read the manga. The anime didn't adapt all of the story. It gets even crazier.
It's not just _pure show_ if you get deep and analyse it. It touches a lot of taboo and philosophical themes...with a poor delivery 🤣 BUT combined with the excessive violence and girls it's just....pure entertainment. You can't stop watching.
It's a gag. The best part is the punchline when the MC's editor reacting just like any sane person would do by exclaiming something along the lines of "What the fuck is this shit?!"
For those who haven't seen it, the first scene explicitly overplays the title. (In short the main character is a nutcase who has an imouto fetish, and the opening scene is a dream of his- enough said)
It would basically be a good way to instantly get anyone who isnt a hardcore weeb to instantly want to distance themselves from you.
It was well documented when this came out that the first episode was very much a "normie" filter. As you have to be used to anime degeneracy to get past the first scene.
iirc I liked the show, it was a fun otaku rom-com, but idk if I would subject myself to that again now that I'm 7 years older.
Yeah this is probably a good candidate. It might be an overgeneralization but a lot of middle aged women tend to watch true crime, thrillers etc and also news itself can be fairly graphic so gory scenes, rape, etc might disturb your average mother but I think any incest or incest related stuff might get you instantly disowned.
I read all 136 chapters of that one, it was awful. There is a character who I and most everyone who reads it just refers to as The Piss Girl, because her exclusive arc is about unintentionally pissing on the MC constantly.
that's the normie filter. the first scene is about a brother waking up and washing his face with his sister's panties, eating his sister's eggs for breakfast, opening a portal to hell and pulling out freshly worn panties to wipe his mouth... etc
but I've read the light novel and it's easily my top 3 favourite series. behind the front of an ecchi romcom lies a deep lesson; exploring what it means to "be the protagonist" of your own story in life, how to deal with struggles and relationship problems and remain confident no matter what comes your way.
i guess you can think of this series like bunny girl senpai bait but on steroids lol. the anime opening captures what the philosophical themes are like in the LN, if you find the lyric translations somewhere. I'd highly recommend checking both the song lyrics and the LN if it sounds interesting to you.
It's a trick kind of weird, but none of the characters shown in the first few mins are actually part of the show. MC is either a manga author or a light novel author, I can't remember which, and that was a scene from he was writing for some reason. The rest of the series is just a pretty normal slice of life comedy mostly involving him and some other authors working under the same publisher.
Mc doesn't even have a sister.
We actually had a test between roommates of who can actually watch the most of it. I made it 3 minutes, my roommates husband made it about the same. My girlfriend made it 2 minutes and surprisingly, my other roommate/ wife of roommate 1 made it the entire episode.
So, back in the day (late 80s/early 90s) pretty much all anime was fansubbed and distributed from person to person. A LOT of what I could get at the time was really sexualized, so I'm a 12 year old just looking for anything that hits like Sailor Moon and Ranma and all I keep getting is Project A-ko, Devil Hunter Yoko, and Ninja Scroll. My mom watched it all with me, God bless her. We eventually found Magic Knight Rayearth and a comic shop that rented anime lol. Then she taught me how to sew just for cosplay purposes.
Tldr; mom and I bonded over questionable anime.
The first scene of the first episode of Bakemonogatari is a no-voiceover scene of the wind lifting up a girls skirt and showing her panties. It zooms in on them too.
That's obviously just avant garde postmodern self aware meta commentary (or something) and anyone who can't see that doesn't deserve to witness such peak anyways
Avant garde and postmodernism are at opposite ends on the 20th century, get your shit straight.
The lifting of a girls skirt symbolizes the wide-spread distribution of porn in modern society and shows how, despite the easy access we have to all types of smut and pornography, it can never rival the event of catching a lewd glimpse of the private areas of the opposite sex.
I wish I was a couple years older and living in a fictional universe because the notion of me groping Hanekawa massive milkers being a real possibility would last me for years on end.
In a show with Shinobu and Hachikuji, you're probably unironically right. The fan going for the 18-year-old with big boobs is the least degenerate one.
I remember talking with some people at uni about Monogatari, and one of them said it was a good show because it had no panty shots and he had his laptop open so I just told him to start up the first episode and refresh his memory.
What's is that I know my mom watched at least the first arc of monogatari. She referenced a scene in Hitagi Crab about a month or two ago because I bought a thing of Sake for a graduation gift for myself.
Just watch your mother's expression change when you tell her the title.
Bonus points if your mom watched Sailor Moon on cartoon network without realizing it was anime.
As part of the Toonami generation (I was in high school when Toonami started doing anime), I was a guy who had kids later in life, so I forget sometimes that my classmates who had children earlier have kids in like high school, or even college. And not even like teen moms, like guys who got married right out of college and then had a kid a year later. now have kids in their mid 20s.
Hell, maybe some of my classmates are young grandparents.
I'm gonna go kiss my sleeping 5 year old son on the forehead and feel old now.
Well, monster musume starts off with a guy desperately jerking off the tail of a snake monster girl while he is suffocating. That sounds worse than it is haha man I love Monster Musume.
Then there's DearS where within the first couple of minutes has a teacher orgasming in front of her student class. It's literally the only scene of DearS I've seen haha, I just rolled my eyes and turned it off. I should probably go back and give it a chance.
Just pulled it up on crunchyroll, maybe orgasm was a tad strong of a word but there's definitely a teacher in lingerie sitting on her desk in front of her students rubbing herself up and down and making noise at about the 6.5 minute mark of episode 1.
I will say that I was a bit disappointed that the rest of the season the energy after that first episode really waned a good bit. It never really matched the energy and pump that first episode got.
I feel like that first episode was a test. For all the bad things that happen in the rest of the season, it never got as bad as that first episode will probably make a person feel.
Maybe not the worst ever, but Ep 1 of Skeleton Knight in Another World has a pretty brutal depiction of a near rape, and then never gets that serious again throughout the show.
It IS a good show though, so bonus points, i guess.
yeah I remember that, I really liked the show. It was weird they went there, and then never got that serious again. Literally scared off people for no reason
God, they _cold open_ with that scene _in-progress_ and it is so fucking jarring.
Originally there was no warning, and then they put a warning overtop of it actually happening because it's literally the first thing you see. I think they might have since put a bumper in front of episode 1 just for the warning, but Jesus Christ who made that original call?
You’re exactly right. Initially there was no warning, then they added the disclaimer but it still started immediately, then they added a brief period of just the disclaimer on a black screen before jumping into it. Really shocking the first time I watched. Just said holy shit what the fuck
It always helps to know your audience. Interspecies Reviewers is all consensual sex. If someone you know is okay with some smut here and there if it's coupled with fantastic humor and a genuinely interesting world, IR does actually make for a good watch.
Edit: It also helps to know that no one is a minor, which is something that a lot of other anime can't also say, including many shows being suggested here.
If Delicious In Dungeon reminds you of it, then it sounds like I'm gonna have to put Interspecies Reviewers on my watchlist (but yeah, won't watch it with the fam like I did with Dungeon Meshi)
Yeah like they intorduce a dumb idea that you would not believe it could work. Then they show dedication and ideas 99% of fantasy animes could never dream about. Both of them are one of the very few animes that made me truly laugh.
I actually started watching Delicious in Dungeon because I saw people compare it to Interspecies Reviewers, and yeah it has very similar worldbuilding.
That said, delicious in dungeon had the privilege of 24 episodes so it covered the story, Interspecies Reviewers is like imagine Dungeon Meshi ended at the red dragon episodes.
The story really gets incredible in the manga, but the anime is still a great watch and genuinely funny.
It's a good anime if you are in for the revenge plot. I like that the mc is evil. Good change from most shows having a mc not hurt the bad guys for the evil they have done
Hell, that first episode is enough to turn off most seasoned anime fans. Which is the point -- it's all in service of the story they want to tell.
But it's really hard to look somebody in the eye and say "No, I know the first episode is egregiously terrible, but just watch through episode 7. I promise it's worth it." I'd have to REALLY trust somebody's opinion to take a suggestion like that seriously.
kingdom of ruin.
The first episode has a woman publicly stipped naked, humiliated, and then executed. and somehow, it gets worse after that.
interspecies reviewers plays jump rope with the line between hentai and anime.
Horny and violence aside, the other replies already gave some good ones, Yuyu Hakusho first episode shows a mother grieving about her recently deceased son, it hits harder as you get older, especially if you're a parent
It really is an emotional episode. The part that got me is when his "rival" shows up. He was loved by so many and he never knew. Man, I got misty eyed again.
As for what the post actually says. A good series that it's just terrible to watch with anybody not in the anime loop, specially the first episode.
Probably, "Dandadan" will be that. It'll be an incredible show, but the premise itself is "getting the balls from the main character back, because a group of alien rapists, and a ghost granny that wants his dick caused or are directly related to it".
I can't for the life of me tell my mom to watch it with me, because on episode one, main girl fights in her underwear, and she's underage.
Edit: And the aliens try to rape her.
The Ancient Magus’ Bride (teenage girl stripped naked and given a bath by the monster who just bought her at auction - good luck getting mom to believe there’s literally nothing else racy in the series but some of the faerie ladies’ wardrobe decisions)
To Your Eternity (dog dies)
Ancient Magus Bride was actually a good series though (season 1 at least, season 2 was pretty slow). Def a “trust me it gets better” as your mom watches the demon thing buy the sullen, clearly abused, young girl and then take her home
It’s a fun anime, but definitely not to everyone’s tastes. 😂
I have a Shiro figure, my mom saw it and thought she was cute. She asked what anime she’s from, and I changed the subject very quickly lol.
I get that. I just couldn't get past the gratuitous loli panty shots and implied incestuous relationship shoved in my face in the first 5 minutes. I'm not normally one to get thrown off by fanservice, but it was just too much for me.
If you like the art, I'd recommend the prequel movie. It basically takes all the good things about the series and very few of the bad. Plus, it doesn't even require you to have seen the series since it's a prequel.
Urotsukidoji, Crying Freeman, and Goblin Slayer are the first that came to mind. As an aside, my Mom actually walked in on the “3000 years” scene of Urotsukidoji (ifykyk) when I was younger. That was embarrassing…
Urotsukidoji is an OG pick, reached deep into the time-vault for that one! I dunno what I would do if my mum came in to see me just watching apocalyptic penises manifesting on this cartoon. I could never eat a sausage around her again, I'll tell you that much.
Hmmm... Elfen Lied might have the worst opening ten minutes in terms of violence. Only thing that might overtake that is Blood-C, but I only know of it by reputation so I'm not sure if it gets bad in its first episode or if it lulls you into a false sense of security.
For sexual nonsense it's Love Flops, as somebody already mentioned.
For "are you sure you're okay?", it's probably Akiba Maid Wars. That barely makes sense to a seasoned anime watcher.
Whatever that show was called where it was chicks in bikinis fighting with T&A trying to knock each other off a platform in the water?
Idk if it was a fever dream but I feel like there was a show like that that I turned off nearly instantly after thinking it was maybe a sports anime.
Or any of the million anime that have nothing to offer but fanservice. Bunch of degenerates.
Keijo!!!! This was my thought as well. I'm an absolute degenerate and this is the first one I thought of.. Also the first one I love to show people, never gets old and we always have a good time😂
Kill la Kill she thought the bath scene was weird but overall she loved the anime
The next series I introduced her to was Hunter X Hunter 2011 and yes all 148 episodes because there was nothing to do during the pandemic lol
We also watched
Panty and Stocking
Gurren Lagann
Mirai Nikki
Death Note
Kaiji
Kakeguri
Tokyo Revengers
Cyberpunk Edgerunners
Perfect Blue (She thought that was amazing)
Chainsaw Man
and currently we are watching Kaiju no 8
Cross Ange? If I remember correctly the protagonist gets [Cross Ange]>!raped in an all girl's prison!< before the first episode is over. Oh, and for a mother specifically my recollection is that episode features a baby being torn out of a crying mother's arms to be sent to the gulag. The show also has a mother - son incest thing in it although I can't recall if any of that is in the first episode.
Bakemonogatari literally starts the opening episode with a panty shot of one of the characters, so that's another easy example I can think of.
>Cross Ange?
So at the end of the first episode, the MC is subject to a cavity search after being sent to a prison. The cavity search is performed by a woman with a robotic arm, functionally the leader of the women at the all-female prison. There is a child taken from a mother's arms and sent to a prison. There was no mother-son incest in the show that I remember.
My recollection is the mother - son incest thing was for Ange's brother. It may have not literally been his mother but someone pretending to be her, so more of a mother - son incest *fetish*.
Do you love your mom and her two hit multi-target attacks?
On one hand, it's incredibly topical
On the other hand, it's essentially an anime about how the main character hates his stepmom and she constantly tries to hard to gain his approval and becomes fetish bait.
Oh gosh, I told my then boyfriend (now my husband) to watch Food Wars and that it's about food and cooking. He happily started watching it with his mom cos I told him it's about cooking (my mother in law loves to cook). It was super awkward.
Testament of sister new devil. Straight up incest hentai scenes out of nowhere , not really the way the rest of the show pans out, tones down a bit after but man in the beginning I was very concerned about what I had purchased. Many subs had recommended it but it’s a bit more than I was looking for as far as fan service.
Let’s just say you might get an awkward look or a Frown for a regular fan service scene. This scene is damn near rated X and will get you fired or badged a pedo pervy .
Lol i was trying for months to get my then gf to watch food wars with me. It was a few seasons in and i'd completely forgotten what happens in s01e01. Suffice to say she judged me and anime i watched since then.
Yurikuma Arashi when it gets to the OP and a later on sequence or Mawaru Penguindrum when it gets to pretty much near end of the episode
But I will say this:I absolutely LOVE both shows,Ikuhara’s work’s can’t really be easily understood with just what’s happening on screen, his depiction of themes are using the limits of the medium itself at it’s best
Oh and maybe I can also throw in Undead Unluck with Andy’s PP and experimenting with Fuko’s Unluck
Undead Unluck is also extremely great as in its settings, characters and plot
Everyone has mentioned a lot of the obvious ones, so here are some ones I haven't seen yet
Why the hell are you here, teacher? The first episode has a suppository scene, hell, it starts off with one of the guys having to watch his teacher piss.
Domestic Girlfriend. Not much spice, just the entire situation is uncomfortable.
Chained soldier. It would have my mom asking way too meany questions about me.
Easy: Maria-sama ga Miteru.
Every other show, your mom would think you're putting on trash to mess with her, or just straight-up pornography.
If you think middle-aged woman don't know what young men jack off to, then God bless your soul that your mom's been holding your dignity in her hands since you hit puberty.
Anyway, back to Maria-sama. If your family is Catholic, this is the best worst show to show your Mom. Because 1, there's hardly any actual churchy content and 2 these girls are all clearly lesbians. Because there's no fan service and the show revolves around romance - you get the double dose of having your mom think there's something wrong with your view of yourself *and* you get to blaspheme poor baby christ with your terrible pick.
2nd place: Pretty Cure.
Isnt there this weird ass "Isekai" anime where the MC get reincarnated as a dog to live together with his crush and it all gets very weird very quickly.
A Sister's All You Need - The first 90 seconds are all you need. KissXSis (OVA) - Boy finds twin sisters in bed with him. They make out with him while grinding his body and/or tugging his junk. You were not lying for the first one. I truly am at a loss for world
It's a gag. The best part is the punchline when the MC's editor reacting just like any sane person would do by exclaiming something along the lines of "What the fuck is this shit?!"
Elfen Lied was the first anime I thought of. Although, my very conservative Christian mom helped me make my Lucy cosplay :D
Had to scroll way too much to see the first comment mentioning Elfen Lied!
That’s what I was looking for too lol
I think it was called a sister is all you need? That one
For those who haven't seen it, the first scene explicitly overplays the title. It is a good title. But later episodes still arent safe because of the white haired girl being a degenerate. Lol
Oh, nowhere did I say it stopped being degenerate, but the opening scene is still the most degenerate thing in the series.
I showed the beginning of this ep to my now Husband without context to see his reaction 🤣🤣🤣 still a hilarious opening.
We need to know how he reacted.
Horror, disgust, then realisation 🤣
Realisation he wanted to leave you for his own little sister :/?
Maybe? But he'd have to wait til one is born first 😅.
That is brave
Not that brave, we'd been together a while at this point 🤣
It's crazy cus the show is actually great but that first scene almost made me drop it instantly
Except for the whitehaired girl, I wouldn't call the show a romcom. It's a pretty great drama on the lives of mangakas
It's good and the MC isn't dense and more mature compared to other main character from the genre.
It's such a good series, terribly underrated
they filtered all the normies just to have the rest of the show feature the main cast playing board games and drinking beer.
Yeah this is probably a good candidate. It might be an overgeneralization but a lot of middle aged women tend to watch true crime, thrillers etc and also news itself can be fairly graphic so gory scenes, rape, etc might disturb your average mother but I think any incest or incest related stuff might get you instantly disowned.
kiss x sis as well
Also any episode of To Love Ru
a classic. I rewatched it a couple years ago. the ova is so much more degenerate.
Doubly so for To Love Ru Darkness
I don't think i would be able to press play with that title
I read all 136 chapters of that one, it was awful. There is a character who I and most everyone who reads it just refers to as The Piss Girl, because her exclusive arc is about unintentionally pissing on the MC constantly.
^(Oh, I'm well acquainted)

My first thought too.
Fun for the whole family
Adding to the queue!
Isnt that the one where guy wakes up to his sister on top of him fully naked? I think I just instantly turnedd off the laptop when it came on
It's a trick kind of weird, but none of the characters shown in the first few mins are actually part of the show. >Mc doesn't even have a sister. yet
We actually had a test between roommates of who can actually watch the most of it. I made it 3 minutes, my roommates husband made it about the same. My girlfriend made it 2 minutes and surprisingly, my other roommate/ wife of roommate 1 made it the entire episode.
The series is pretty good, I gave it an 8. The scene itself is only like a minute long, so that's pretty qeak to not even make that for a test.
Haha - Food Wars. Except now she’s in love with it.
That’s actually what happened. I still shudder though hahaha
Haha. We’re actually watching it right now. I broke down and bought all the blurays. I’m making her start over from season one 😆😆.
Tldr; mom and I bonded over questionable anime.
loving history!
That's a cute story. Your mom sounds chill
I wish I was a couple years older and living in a fictional universe because the notion of me groping Hanekawa massive milkers being a real possibility would last me for years on end.
>because the notion of me groping Hanekawa massive milkers Least degenerate Monogatari fan
You come out a changed weeb after the Kizu movies
peak cinema
Someone post a gif of my bro burning alive
In a show with Shinobu and Hachikuji, you're probably unironically right. The fan going for the 18-year-old with big boobs is the least degenerate one.
>notion of me groping Hanekawa massive milkers You may not know this, but you just spoke to my soul.

Renoir painted worse. Renoir is Art. So this must be Art too.
I remember talking with some people at uni about Monogatari, and one of them said it was a good show because it had no panty shots and he had his laptop open so I just told him to start up the first episode and refresh his memory.
And it's one of the best panty shots I've ever seen! 😤
I watched this entire series with my dad
Try the toothbrush scene in the second (?) season...
What's is that I know my mom watched at least the first arc of monogatari. She referenced a scene in Hitagi Crab about a month or two ago because I bought a thing of Sake for a graduation gift for myself.
Gushing over magical girls. Great series but you will be just forever disowned by your mother
Wait what??? I don't remember than from DearS
Just pulled it up on crunchyroll, maybe orgasm was a tad strong of a word but there's definitely a teacher in lingerie sitting on her desk in front of her students rubbing herself up and down and making noise at about the 6.5 minute mark of episode 1.
Goblin Slayer
I love that this comment has zero conversation but is one of the most highly upvoted. IYKYK.
Yep. Crazy to have to scroll this far to get one of the most obvious and accurate answers
I guess, but I enjoy the more chill, slice of life-like(?) direction the story took. It gave the disturbing parts of the story more weight imo.
Kamikatsu Then again that entire show is one giant shitpost that sort of requires you to already be a decent level degenerate.
Especially since the 3rd scene is the girl literally giving a guy a handjob.
Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne.
I’m surprised I don’t see this one come up more often in threads about fucked up animes
I get that they were trying to set the tone for the new world being harsh and brutal, but yeah, they went a bit harder than necessary.
Interspecies reviewers. My mum did watch it tho its a good anime. It's also one of my favs.
O_o
It always helps to know your audience. Interspecies Reviewers is all consensual sex. If someone you know is okay with some smut here and there if it's coupled with fantastic humor and a genuinely interesting world, IR does actually make for a good watch. Edit: It also helps to know that no one is a minor, which is something that a lot of other anime can't also say, including many shows being suggested here.
Exactly! Like when i was watching Dungeon Meshi I felt that its a family friendly Interspecies reviewers in that regard.
For the amount of sex and nudity in it, it's so wholesome and happy. One of my (and my wife's) favorites.
I remember seeing Chobits for the first time with my mom in the same room, the opening was cute... Never again.
Pretty much any episode from Redo of healer. Maybe EP 10 of Harem in the labyrinth of another world.
Is the first episode bad?
I think the second episode was worse
Same here, I plan to keep watching it someday but damn, that episode was fked up
It's a good anime if you are in for the revenge plot. I like that the mc is evil. Good change from most shows having a mc not hurt the bad guys for the evil they have done
No. The real stuff doesn't happen until episode 2. People just can't read.
Harem labyrinth first episode you can safely watch the first half but not the rest. Redo of healer first episode.... Yeah you're screwed
Redo of a healer will always be a guilty pleasure of mine. It's so morally wrong, but I can't look away.
Neither of those are the FIRST episode.
Love Flops
Hell, that first episode is enough to turn off most seasoned anime fans. Which is the point -- it's all in service of the story they want to tell. But it's really hard to look somebody in the eye and say "No, I know the first episode is egregiously terrible, but just watch through episode 7. I promise it's worth it." I'd have to REALLY trust somebody's opinion to take a suggestion like that seriously.
Yes i just finished it in like an arvo and holy shit the plot twist after plot twist. Especially those post ep 7 reveals
Looking at all this degeneracy and I might bite and go watch
This is exactly what I’m looking for hahaha
I was thinking attack on titan just because it starts with a mom getting eaten, but there's much better answers out there out there like goblin slayer
Do you love your mother and her 2 hit instakill attacks?
kingdom of ruin. The first episode has a woman publicly stipped naked, humiliated, and then executed. and somehow, it gets worse after that. interspecies reviewers plays jump rope with the line between hentai and anime.
My roommate and her bf walked in while we were watching food wars once.. they still bring it up. 😂😂
Valkyrie Drive Mermaid
My pitch as well. ETA: username most certainly checks out!
I concur. This is my lowest-rated show on MAL.
Highschool DxD
First episode of "Idaten Deities".
Man that anime was awesome, though. Too bad the story will likely never get finished.
Turns out for me it was episode 1 of Scum's Wish 😆
As for what the post actually says. A good series that it's just terrible to watch with anybody not in the anime loop, specially the first episode. Probably, "Dandadan" will be that. It'll be an incredible show, but the premise itself is "getting the balls from the main character back, because a group of alien rapists, and a ghost granny that wants his dick caused or are directly related to it". I can't for the life of me tell my mom to watch it with me, because on episode one, main girl fights in her underwear, and she's underage. Edit: And the aliens try to rape her.
Bakemonogatari, one minute in and we get like a 20 second long panty shot, than the rest of the episode is just insane
Seikon no qwaser or overflow
Konosuba, I love the series but I'm never watching it with a normie in the room.
The Ancient Magus’ Bride (teenage girl stripped naked and given a bath by the monster who just bought her at auction - good luck getting mom to believe there’s literally nothing else racy in the series but some of the faerie ladies’ wardrobe decisions) To Your Eternity (dog dies)
Ancient Magus Bride was actually a good series though (season 1 at least, season 2 was pretty slow). Def a “trust me it gets better” as your mom watches the demon thing buy the sullen, clearly abused, young girl and then take her home
Probably elfin lied. All the naked blood drenched girl would be iffy
No game no life. 🙈🙉🙊
I noped out on the first episode. I can't imagine showing that to my mom, haha!
It’s a fun anime, but definitely not to everyone’s tastes. 😂 I have a Shiro figure, my mom saw it and thought she was cute. She asked what anime she’s from, and I changed the subject very quickly lol.
I genuinely think it's good but some of the aspects of that show are extremely suspect and unexplainable
Thanks for the heads up.
Gushing over magical girls would definitely leave her questioning…
Boku nopico
Mushoku Tensei is up there, guy literally yanking the chain immediately followed by him perving on his mom
mushoku tensei has the baby reincarnated deviant mc getting all horned up for his mom's tits
Shout out to the Akiba maid wars fandom hahaha
Whatever that show was called where it was chicks in bikinis fighting with T&A trying to knock each other off a platform in the water? Idk if it was a fever dream but I feel like there was a show like that that I turned off nearly instantly after thinking it was maybe a sports anime. Or any of the million anime that have nothing to offer but fanservice. Bunch of degenerates.
Keijo!!!! This was my thought as well. I'm an absolute degenerate and this is the first one I thought of.. Also the first one I love to show people, never gets old and we always have a good time😂
Kill la Kill she thought the bath scene was weird but overall she loved the anime The next series I introduced her to was Hunter X Hunter 2011 and yes all 148 episodes because there was nothing to do during the pandemic lol We also watched Panty and Stocking Gurren Lagann Mirai Nikki Death Note Kaiji Kakeguri Tokyo Revengers Cyberpunk Edgerunners Perfect Blue (She thought that was amazing) Chainsaw Man and currently we are watching Kaiju no 8
Devil Man Crybaby
She was the Captain of the Guard. She had more going on. In one scene, they do some mommy-play. His (and Ange's) mother dies in the first episode.
Elfen Lied
I got the DVD of that!
A sister’s all you need
The mom isekai. We're close like that.
Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks? Most awkward 😬 Edit - To add its a harem series with MCs mother as the lead girl.
Do you love your mom and her two hit multi-target attacks? On one hand, it's incredibly topical On the other hand, it's essentially an anime about how the main character hates his stepmom and she constantly tries to hard to gain his approval and becomes fetish bait.
I think it'd be Onimai for me, it's great but my mother would judge me so hard for it
Maybe prison school? Probably the worst episode, not to mention how sick I am of the whole peeping tom gag.
Goblin Slayer for sure. No game no life is also up there just because of how the cameraman treats Shiro
Oh gosh, I told my then boyfriend (now my husband) to watch Food Wars and that it's about food and cooking. He happily started watching it with his mom cos I told him it's about cooking (my mother in law loves to cook). It was super awkward.
Any Kill la Kill episode would get massive frowns, validated with my partner ✅
Triage x
Interspecies Reviewers!
First episode of attack on titan. If you know you know
Date a live
Dokuro chan
Maybe I am just into shit anime because all the ones listed I thought were pretty decent.
Eiken
Dandadan had a very odd perverted start
Elfen Lied
Testament of sister new devil. Straight up incest hentai scenes out of nowhere , not really the way the rest of the show pans out, tones down a bit after but man in the beginning I was very concerned about what I had purchased. Many subs had recommended it but it’s a bit more than I was looking for as far as fan service. Let’s just say you might get an awkward look or a Frown for a regular fan service scene. This scene is damn near rated X and will get you fired or badged a pedo pervy .
It might be Elfen Lied
Golden Boy
Lol i was trying for months to get my then gf to watch food wars with me. It was a few seasons in and i'd completely forgotten what happens in s01e01. Suffice to say she judged me and anime i watched since then.
Kiss x sis? AoT on mother's day xD?
Goblin slayer
O Maidens in Your Savage Season (girl walks in on her childhood friend laying hands on himself)
Yurikuma Arashi when it gets to the OP and a later on sequence or Mawaru Penguindrum when it gets to pretty much near end of the episode But I will say this:I absolutely LOVE both shows,Ikuhara’s work’s can’t really be easily understood with just what’s happening on screen, his depiction of themes are using the limits of the medium itself at it’s best Oh and maybe I can also throw in Undead Unluck with Andy’s PP and experimenting with Fuko’s Unluck Undead Unluck is also extremely great as in its settings, characters and plot
Prison School or redo of the healer might be up there.....
Everyone has mentioned a lot of the obvious ones, so here are some ones I haven't seen yet Why the hell are you here, teacher?
Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?
Maybe 100 Girlfriends really really live you
Redo of Healer
I’m already apprehensive about showing a decent episode of anime to my mom
Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multitarget Attacks?
Food Wars Shokugeki lol
Devilman crybaby
Valkyrie Drive - Mermaid - I know it would've been a lot of girls rubbing together for me to watch with my Mom. May she rest in peace
The first episode of Cross Ange. Literally rapey at one point.
