Definitely keyboard! Got a new keyboard and was having a sticking issue to the same result. If you have compressed air, try shooting some into your wasd.

Here is what Ive tried so far: * Reinstalling the game on the same drive and on a different one * Fiddeling with the poling rates of my mouse and keyboard * turning off anti-lag aswell as freesync and related solutions in amd adrenaline * installing the latest windows updates * trying out different usb-ports for peripherals * running apex as administrator and turning off fullscreen optimization * running apex in dx12 via launch command * turning off any overlay i could find (e.g. steam, xbox etc.) Im at my wits end as I also cant seem to find any solutions to my specific problems apart from what i already tried. Any help is appreciated.

Try plugging a new keyboard in/controller. You seem to have covered system integrity, but not peripheral integrity. The keyboard sounds like it’s the issue.

I’d be willing to bet your W key switch sticks. Or there’s something wrong with the touch point.

I just replaced the coresponding switches and it seems to have solved the problem for now. I wont be getting ahead of myself here but this at least tells me that my keyboard was/is most likely the problem. Thanks alot for the hint!!!

its a custom keyboard so i will check out the switch and replace it if needed :)

Check the traces on the board too to make sure nothings damaged if the switch doesn’t seem to be the issue.
