I type with my thumbs all the time. No excuse not to use periods, commas, parentheses, dashes, colons, semicolons, exclamation marks, question marks, quotation marks, possessive and contracting apostrophes, and so on.
If you've hard your reading, go to TDS immediately. Start compiling a list of those that can back you up. Any factual evidence (IE schedules, other documents you've signed showing difference in signatures, etc...) that you can collect without causing any issues.
