I would've loved to see the spin-off "Green Arrow and the Canaries" actually. Overall, the Arrow series ended actually pretty well, but I would like to see more of the Arrowverse, even something about Thea or Mia (and here returns the idea of the spin off xD)
Green Arrow and the Canaries was a good idea ruined by a terrible concept. They never should have set it in the future. Instead Mia, William, and Connor should have been stranded in the past (since their future was wiped out during Crisis), and it should have been them working with the Canaries keeping order in a present day Star City.
I agree, it was very confusing the time travel of all the main character to the future, just to return in the past for the final Arrow episode, and then, return to the future... Never truly understood this...
I want a movie that brings everyone back for one last adventure with the Justice League proper.
Starring Stephen Amell, Grant Gustin, Tyler Hoechlin, Melissa Benoist, Wallis Day, Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Dave Harewood, with returning guests from every show.
Make the premise of Oliver's return that the Spectre exists infinitely across time and comes to recruit himself from the afterlife for some new world-ending threat and for anyone wanting a happy ending, have the Spectre return Oliver not to the afterlife afterwards but to the moment he left with the Monitor to raise his kids and build a peaceful life surrounded by his friends.
A final crossover when Flash was ending (I know they did 1 episode but I mean a proper multipart crossover with all the shows) would have been amazing. But the time has passed now.
I agree it would've been amazing, sadly at that point The Flash was the only direct Earth-Prime Arrowverse show left and that made a legitamate crossover event impossible (short of doing a Multiversal one with Superman & Lois). On top of that Season 9 only had 13 episodes, but at least the initial five episodes kinda provided an epilogue to Batwoman (mainly in episodes 3-5), 9x07 had some subtle ties to Supergirl with Dreamer's final appearance, and (as you pointed out) what we got regarding Arrow in 9x09.
It's why I tend to recommend roughly 14 episodes from the broader Arrowverse shows following the end of Arrow. They essentially provide closure for Diggle with his celestial Green finding (David Ramsey's 3-4 part arc the lockdown-seasons following the Crisis-seasons... which an episode of Batwoman Season 3 and an episode of The Flash Season 8 conclude), the turmoil Mia's going through from her brother being taken (Part 5 from the final major "Armageddon" crossover event), and further cemented exploration on just what's going on with Oliver as the Spectre (The Flash 9x09).
