Not at all. His brother was working for Damien Darhk and was threatening to kill his family. He killed his own blood to protect his family. That takes a special type of person to be able to do that
Consider that Andy was going too far. John was on a terribile situation, between an internal conflict and the anxiety for her wife held hostage by Darhk. He acted with instict, by acknowledging later, the massive weight of his action. This shows anyway that, despite the circumstances that see Diggle as innocent, he still is a morale compass, also for himself.
That made sense. He gave Andy so many chances, only to be betrayed time and again, and then Andy made clear he was threatening the safety of his wife and child. I'm not defending the decision, but it's very understandable.
Agreed, if that's when he left to join Argus. Hated that whole transition and falling out with Oliver. It ruined the character for me because after that, how does he come back from all the crap he said to Oliver?
Most of the time I loved him. Until he left Oliver and joined Argus of all organizations. His falling out with Oliver made no sense and basically everything he said to him in that fight was horrible and hypocritical. And then going to work for an organization that he previously despised so much he nearly ended his marriage a second time over it.
It also made no sense that he was so caught up in wanting to BE the green arrow. It was just weird.

Jail couldn’t stop HIVE really. Kinda sucks but that was the only way to guarantee his family’s safety.

I really liked him up until season 6. Then they kinda butchered his character and it never really recovered.

Yeah, through the end of the season, Dig's emblematic peculiarities went down, unfortunatly...
Diggle was great. 👍 It was always funny when Flash took him somewhere and he puked afterwards. 🤢🤮😄
